When seeing the thumbnail, I had a moment of "wait, I thought we were done with wario land"
I just realized Wario’s rematch features not only mechanics but themes from everyone else’s microgames. You had Excitebike as reference to 9-Volt, realistic visuals as reference to Dr. Crygor…etc.
Well, Anything Goes, right?
Wario’s Adventure is my favourite final boss in the series, makes me wish they hadn’t committed to doing Wario Mambo every time now.
Fun fact! My friend painstakingly recreated it in SMBX 1.3 once. It was insane.
Wrong series thumbnail, and right series thumbnail at the same time
1:58 Violets are blue,
Roses are red,
The minigame frame is too small
for Wario's big freaking head.
And Wario was the videogame.
Strange how Wario-Man or any other Final Boss Form of Wario didn't exist at this time. Instead we just have...a rematch with Wario?
I mean, there is Wario Deluxe in Gold as well
6:31 of course it will. after all, wario land 4 WAS one of his greatest achievements on the game boy advance.
heck, it even confirms the myth 2 seconds later.
3:42 Still one of my favorite (final) boss microgames in the whole series.
6:34 Luckily for them they weren't wrong, 1.10 million is nothing to sneeze at.
8:18 It's the skeleton shōgun from Kat's stage, no clue why it's "heads" instead of "head" though.
Wario's stage will forever have the best jingles in this game, followed by Orbulon's. Could be my nostalgia from playing on WarioWare in Brawl, but I do like the ones in this game more. Favorite one in the series overall is probably Wario-Man's, so I can only hope we get that fabled Twisted! LP...
0:42 "we are Nintendo, ultimate TV game system, we challenge all players, you cannot beat us."
They want you to win because they're challenging you, but are opposed as a point of pride.
6:40 isnt that the cersent moon village theme from WL4?
I remember when I first played this game as a kid, I assumed the final "W" level was going to be Waluigi, since I didn't think they'd just have Wario twice
If only little me knew at the time that Waluigi would never be allowed anywhere near this series
5:24 To be fair, the game's only used the d-pad and the A button so far, if one didn't work you'd probably try the other one immediately afterwards
6:44 Orbulon's size in the more recent games makes a lot more sense looking at this cutscene, feels like it's only properly portrayed here since the other games made him more around the size of everyone else
7:19 And Crygor must’ve decided to fly for no reason.
They aren't actually opposed to you beating their games, it's just marketing
5:35 young me, forever, having to get to this part and try to run every time but it never worked
I swear this has to be the longest Warioware boss ever
I like how they just let Wario and Crygor die in the end.
I think the reason why this game talks to you so much and antagonizes you is because you are the play tester of the game. The loading on the menu is you pulling each person's repository onto your computer and getting it ready to be tested which explains all of them being folders on your computer, along with certain ones adding in extra side games you can use on your desktop. That would also explain why you are in the credits at the end, like almost all play testers/debuggers are.
6:48 why can orbulon do that with his head
Yay more sealed palace next!
so wario created a game that managed to absorb himself into it, then in Get it Together, created ANOTHER game that absorbed not just him, but everyone in the vicinity. Get it Together showed that wario’s programming skills (or lack thereof) is what caused this. Does this mean that wario managed to get worse at game design and programming over time?
He switched to C++
5:32 This game only use the d-pad and the button A. I don't think figuring out which button to use is really gonna be an issue here.
That trampoline microgame all the way back in Jimmy T's set used the shoulder buttons in the GBA version
@@user-lh5dc5cy1b No it didn't it uses the d-pad
And micro was the videogame
Finished in just six parts? You could say this was one... micro game.
This game is fun
6:40
THE virus
You should play Super Bomberman for the SNES as a one-off should you ever need a filler game again.
2:46 potassium
