I've had experience salvage diving Spanish Treasure Galleons. It isn't uncommon to find non magnetic silver and gold coins 'concreted' onto iron artifacts.
This is due to galvanic reaction from dissimilar metals touching each other in an electrolyte over time.
The electrolyte can be sea water, as in my experience, or it can be 'fresh' water with a high tannic or other acidic content resulting from decaying vegetation etc. in the water.
The bottom line is CHECK YOUR CRUD!
What you sometimes call "magnetic stones" could be concretions containing precious metals such ss gold and silver.
The "flag pole" on the trolley was a trial for Iceland to stop people walking out the store with it. It didn't last long in my local store.
Great coin find
The first and third shackles you found are more correctly termed as "bow shackles". In some circumstances they are preferred as they as less likely to jam.
Good seeing the gang! Great show as usual. 👋🏼🇬🇧👍
Wow Very Nice Coins😲😲😲
Right on guys 👍
Missed you Hi Harry Welcome!!
Good Sunday morning to you Nigel Aaron and AJ. Hope you get a lot of nice finds today.
Thanks
Thanks
The younger lads is warming up to being on camera. Awesome finds again people :)
😅😅😅😅 Dictaphone, ancient artifacts . Dang I'm old.😅😅
Brilliant job u legend 👍 😊😊
Thank you
Still amazes me the stuff that people deposit in the water ways. I am sure there are a few that were dropped from boats and such, but most is stuff that someone had to intentionally put there. Good job on getting a lot of it out. 👍💪
If you think about all the cars, motobikes, scooters and bicycles that go missing, often for spare parts, the unwanted bits often end up in watercourses, out of sight.
Thanks for another outstanding video guys and great job A.J and Harry.
Nice find on tge old coins I have a few half penny's etc in my collection
Good evening gents. Aj is getting so tall, soon he will be the same size as Aaron. Welcome to the group Harry. Please keep up the great job.
Hello Nigel, Aaron and AJ - looks like a lovely day there.

Thats odd with the clipped coins, ive seen old silver coins that had been clipped, but never copper coins.

I really appreciate the higher quality footage. It would be great if you had additional wireless mics,
The only problem I have with having extra mic's is the editing time it would take, I work full time and edit till late at night as it is, need more family time
Remember having a dictaphone! Haven’t seen one in a long time. Great video lads 🤘🏼🧲
Thanks
Thanks
❤
Great to see such a good relationship with the angling folk on the river, if anybody would really appreciate you pulling all that junk out from the waterways, it should be them, afterall you are cleaning up the environment of the fish they want to so badly catch.
Absolutely
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Lila
Hi Dean 🙋♀
does it ever stop raining at that place every time i see you there it,s raining
🥶
Yeah we do get good days
need trimmers there
🤗👍
Hey guys. Great video, thanks. I'm a newbie to this and I've just been sent a kit (early Christmas pressie) to go magnet fishing. May i ask what you do with the old metal bits/trolleys/pieces etc you find? Also how did you clean up those coins to make them shiny again? Thanks in advance.
A massive thank you to you all for helping to clean up our waterways 🥰🤩
P.s I recently went shallow underwater detecting with a Pulsedive detector. It was a great couple of days pulling out old scrap and coins totalling 39p 🤣 The most interesting find was an old iron 😋🙂
We use scrapmen to collect our scrap
Ah ok. I've seen some videos where the UA-camrs get money for the scrap value - Every little helps i guess 😄@@Northantsmagnetfishing
