The ps4 pro is still 30% weaker than the xbox one x and uses the exact same processor used in the ps4 original and slim models but it's been overclocked (keep in mind that generates extra heat and is why ps4 pros are loud as hell...) to 2.2GHz instead of 1.6 GHz. The gpu is the equivalent of maybe a gtx 1050 original. The xbox one x however has a stock 2.3 GHz jaguar cpu and a much stronger gpu at the equivalent of the AMD RX 580 if not a little bit stronger than that.

I played this on a og xbox and i am shocked on how well this game performed. it was 60fps at most times and the worst it would drop to is 45. good job with the optimisation capcom! and another thing. it looks amazing. i was blown away Update: It killed my Xbox 😂
I have a One X, I was gonna wait to get a Series X before I played this game. But after watching this video I'm just gonna buy the game on Friday and play it on my One X lmao.
So happy with how it looks on the One X! The 4k mode while not perfect seems to run much closer to 60fps than the pro version which I hope will be even better with the release version.
Bro, the game looks stunning on the One X. I'm a huge RE fan and wanted to play the game on the Series X but can't afford it right now, so I bought it for my One X and OMG the game looks incredibly beautiful. If it wasn't because it was me playing on my own console I wouldn't believe the game looks this good on the One X. Hands down to Capcom. It looks even better than RE2 and 3 and the game has more elements on screen and wider and more open scenarios. This is how you optimize a game 👌🏻

I get that it's a console targeting 1440p 60fps, but it's not a necessity, especially when it takes a noticeable performance hit. Either 1080p 60fps with rt or 1440p 60fps with no rt.
I used to think that it was equal to the One X in terms of gpu power but this is the first game to actually show that it is in fact superior, 1440p@60 vs 1080p@60 is a huge leap, that's why people should not be misleaded by its "just 4tflops"
@bill gates , 6-TFLOPS of GCN is equal to about 4-TFLOPs RDNA 2 but that's assuming the Engine/API (DirectX 11) is using the cores traditionally and in series. GCN was designed for parallel processing but required DirectX 12 feature levels to even address its potential but Microsoft was forced to still favor NVIDIA CUDA so programmer stayed with DirectX 11 and in turn crippled the Xbox One for awhile. Things have changed, AMD has grown huge amounts of support and even Epic reprogrammed Unreal Engine (DirectX 12) to fully favor AMDs RDNA 2 technology in which means the Xbox One X isn't going to see nearly as much boost as the Series S that has drastically better parallel processing potential compared to its predecessors still using GCN. Xbox One X is DirectX 12_0 feature level (infant). Xbox Series X/S have DirectX 12_2 feature level (young adult) so its drastic jump in comparison when its comes to actually using a fully DirectX 12 Engine like Unreal Engine 5.

Xbox One X was really a monster, it looked as good as the Xbox Series S version. the Xbox One S on the other hand is really showing the age in those last releases, almost always the version of it is considerably worse than in the Base PS4, but considering the hardware and its age it's still surprising to see this game running so well on it.
It doesn't look that bad. I mean it's noticeable that the fine details are worse, draw distance, etc. But when you are moving around in an action game, it's all one in the same.
I would prefer Capcom hadn't lied about being next gen only and the game would run worse on One X. The game is last gen af. Also they made it short and cheesy to sell more!

Hoje em dia na real são diferenças muito pocas de plataforma pra plataforma, Quem pegou outras épocas da geração 16 bits para 32 , Ali víamos muita diferença Pois eram feitas conversões de jogos para cada plataforma devido suas diferenças gritantes de pode entre si, Hoje as máquinas são monstras não se vê nada gritante como em outras épocas , Tô jogando o Village no meu one fat , E o game é lindo demais , tenho um amigo com o Séries X , na boa , O game tá todo ali rodando em várias máquinas completo e em todas está impecável, O nível das máquinas chegaram a um patamar já monstro , é legal ficar procurando diferença entre as versões, Mais são pequenos detalhes que as vezes na prática jogando nem incomoda , E uma quedinha de quadro ali falta uma moita de mato aqui kkk , Nada absurdo como vimos em outras gerações de consoles que a diferença era tão grande de poder que em muitos casos as produtoras tinha que fazer 2 ou 3 versões do jogo totalmente diferente devido as limitações das máquinas , Hoje é tudo igual praticamente rodando na prática, É tipo vc ter 3 PCs 1 monstro tudo no ultra outro no médio e outro rodando mas configurações mínimas mais no fim , Tá tudo ali o game completo apenas sem um detalhe ou outro nem nem chega a estragar a jogatina,,,,
@@sandorjuhasz448 nah the GPU still provides higher texture quality and resolution than the series S aswell as the fact that the series s has been confirmed to not be capable of xbox one x enhanced backwards compatibility. The series s has a better cpu for sure but it's best for emulation through dev mode

Se ve genial aun en consolas de anterior generación. Una cosa que me ha llamado la atención es que para Series S la resolución fija sea 1440p con opción de activar el RT (yendo a 40-45fps) o dejarlo desactivado y que vaya a 60fps estables y está muy bien.. pero.. por qué no un modo 1080p+RT activado? 🤔

I think the Xbox One X is capable to run this game in locked 60fps at 1620p like the past RE games (RE2 and 3 remake). The 1080p/60 is fine, but can be better.
The one X runs at 60 for most of the castle demo in 4K mode so honestly yeah they could have dropped the res slightly and it’d still look insane and with 60fps... capcom messed up a bit there

There's no reason this game wouldn't be great on Xbox one and I'm glad it runs so well. I played the remakes this week and began 7 yesterday and lemme tell you something: the only thing holding 7's visuals is the artistic vision from the team. Because it looks pretty rough compared to the sequencing entries. This should be no surprise, given the fact this project was just a plaything for Capcom and, according to he leaks, it was already playable on last gen before they thought of doing current gen. Capcom is on a roll, my god. After almost two decades of doing bad bad bad things with their ips, Capcom does not seems like it could do wrong to their fans. I'm glad dead rising 4 and that DMC killed every hope of Western developers working with Capcom anymore. God, this is a good friggin company.
This game looks sick on all systems. The optimization on Capcom's part is out of this world. The series x with ray tracing holding 60fps at least slightly over 90% of the time is badass and even the one X looks excellent. The series S should have had a 1080p RT mode and a 1440p RT mode combined into a Quality and Performance mode settings, using the same downscale to 1080p assets from the one X. I feel like developers don't give that little powerhouse enough credit. The older Xbox one probably should have been capped at 30fps. It looks good but there is for sure some frame stuttering.

XB1X is still a beast, however Capcom should make the resolution dynamic or lower it to 1728P CB. I played XBSX version of the weekend which out performed PC (3800X, RTX 2070). My PC rig performance is closer to 50 than 60, but the settings are higher with a true 4K resolution. However XBSX HDR implantation is better and it's abit more stable at slightly lower fidelity. Anywho pre-ordered on Xbox platforms.
@@cornbread7095 It´s kinda an odd one in the mix. It has more raw power in terms of tflops than Series S, but at the same time it has some serious bottlenecks. So it can put higher resolution than Series S, but otherwise is weaker of the two. Like in this game, you can choose to have same resolution on one X than you have with Series X. Series S cannot even put out that kind of resolution. but it comes with a cost in performance (on one X). At the same time Series S is not performing too well with RT on. I have One X and it´s still a great machine, but clearly last gen. I also managed to get PS5 and the difference is quite huge between those consoles. Like it would be with Series X. Series S however, is something I wouldn´t buy at all. If I would be so broke, I would wait to get at least 100€ /$ to buy the discless PS5 as it´s much more capable console.
@@cornbread7095 In the video, Series S is at 1440P, hovering around 40 fps... I think that if you lower the resolution to 1080p it would surely go to a constant 60 fps.
Just checked demo on PS4 PRO and Xbox One X. Both consoles with SSD and loading times are much better on Xbox external SSD (not more than 6-7 seconds) than on PS4 PRO internal SSD (at least 2x longer or more). In high resolution mode on XOX game looks very nice and don't drops frames much but on PS4 PRO it's unplayable for me because unstable framerate (and a bit worse graphics).
PS4 pro and Xbox one x doenst have SSD they both have Internal mechanical drives except PS4 pro can be a exception due its internal mechanical drive can be taken out and replace with an Internal Sata 3 SSD. But the PS5 and Series S and X both have SSD's the series S and X both have regular NVME SSD where as the PS5 has a custom made NVME SSD.
@@joeyreidelbach5509 Its also possible to switch the HDD with an 2.5 SATA SSD on Xbox one x. Thats what i did. Also changed the thermal paste with Liquid metal. Now its a lot faster(interface as well) and quieter. True Power House for 300€ including a 1TB SSD. I hope Alien Fireteam Runs @4K on one x

Is it just me, or is RT compared to non-RT, not worth it? I only see some different color shading. But in terms of fidelity, I don't see a difference in this video.
It is barely perceptible in BFV (in that video game it is where the ray tracing is most noticeable) I think the quality of the textures is more noticeable.

I think its the framerate. When something has like a weird framerate like this when it's not capped at 30fps. The game looks blurry because of how low the frames are
I have the og Xbox One, as well. Big fat ol' reliable. Been with me since my 15th birthday on November, 2014. Just bought the Series S. It still hasn't arrived, but to me the cost alone is worth it. If you want super ultra graphics, maybe the Series X is your console. But if you, like me don't want to spend too much on a console while still being next gen, series S is for you.
Don’t feel bad man I’m still using my original one too. At some point we’ll all get a series x but all we can do is wait. Just be glad we can still play the newest games on it lol

Graphics are so insane these days I can't even really tell much difference. Hell I remember when the 360 came out playing GOW and was like damn these graphics can't get any better.
I loved my Xbox one X however when I would run it in high fidelity mode 4K it was awful and stuttering. When I ran it prioritizing frame rate it ran great and look great. But almost unplayable in 4K.

I had the One S (paid 50€) until 2 years ago and was a really good console, especially for the price, but now you can really see the difference between next gen. Last Year I choosed to buy One X instead Series S because I bought together with a tv 55' 4k and Im really happy about it. I know that havent an ssd, Quick resume, rt as Series S, but for who owns a big tv I guess One X is a better choice, for 4k, 1tb hard disk, price (paid 150€). Until now the only game I really want to play and is not on old gen is Resident Evil 4😢. Next year I'll do the upgrade with Series X.
One X looks the best. Series X is close but something is a little off. Maybe a filtering used. Don't care for the ray traced shadows. As for loading times, an SSD takes care of that.
So my question is,are companies still releasing next gen titles for a shitty 2013 hardware to cater to gamers who may or may not be masochist,or are they just looking for extra bucks. Like they do realize that they are holding back a lot of the game's potential both in terms of creativity and gameplay especially for those who normally buy new pcs and consoles to get the best experience.
I think the problem is that not enough people still can get their PS5 or Series X. Many people are still forced to play on old consoles and that´s why developers are also "forced" to make games for them. I honestly believe Capcom´s intention was to make this only for next gen, but because of the problems with supply, they changed the plan.
Only thing I can say to you is cry about it if you have a problem with people on Old gins playing this game there's nothing you can do about it and good job for them because now people who have older consoles can play this game because heaven forbid someone from another system in the past and play a Modern game.
Muy entretenido el video. Mis conclusiones de lo que acabo de ver en consolas de Microsoft. Mejor versión: Xbox SX. 2da mejor versión: Xbox One X. 3er lugar: Series S. Último lugar: Xbox One. Sorprendente lo bien que luce este juego en Xbox One X, en el que pese a no tener Raytracing, se llega a ver mejor que Series S y muy similar a Series X. Aquí queda demostrado que los 4k nativos de ONE X sí marcan una diferencia. Sigue siendo un tanto complicado recomendar comprar una Series S, si se tiene One X, a como sigamos viendo juegos intergeneracionales y más aún si no se cuanta con un tv o monitor de más de 60hz, en la que puedas apreciar una tasa de framerate superior a 60 fps o juegos competitivos a 120 fps. Para finalizar, debo decir que el raytracing de este juego me ha decepcionado, creo que no compensa la merma en el rendimiento. Ni por asomo se acerca a la demostraciôn de raytracing en consolas visto en Watch Dogs: Legion.
Man, you are really not seeing the Reality, the filters and textures in Series X and S are the Same, One X used Hd textures even in the 4k resolution. Just see x and S version side by side, there is almost no differences.

The only selling point for Xbox series x is crazy fast load times and ray tracing. I have the xbx1x which is freaking impossible to find thx to covid. I got mine dec 2019 new. The only down side is 4K/60 limit or 1080/120, slow load and no ray tracing. It is a freaking beast and super small. Xbx series x 8k/30, 4K/120 is good on paper but 8k library is years away as it cheap 8k tv. Also x series is huge and puts off way way more heat. You need to consider that for sure. My xbx1x heats up my bedroom about 10 degrees more than any other room and in summer it sucks. Series x is worse. I’ll wait till series x slim comes out and is small, less power consumed and way less heat. I’ve been a gamer since 1970 80 and every system made so I know how to play my cards

I played this on a og xbox and i am shocked on how well this game performed. it was 60fps at most times and the worst it would drop to is 45. good job with the optimisation capcom! and another thing. it looks amazing. i was blown away

I played the game on Xbox One S and it was a great experience, RE8 became one of my favorites RE games of all the franchise!
I have a One X, I was gonna wait to get a Series X before I played this game. But after watching this video I'm just gonna buy the game on Friday and play it on my One X lmao.
So happy with how it looks on the One X! The 4k mode while not perfect seems to run much closer to 60fps than the pro version which I hope will be even better with the release version.

Bro, the game looks stunning on the One X. I'm a huge RE fan and wanted to play the game on the Series X but can't afford it right now, so I bought it for my One X and OMG the game looks incredibly beautiful. If it wasn't because it was me playing on my own console I wouldn't believe the game looks this good on the One X. Hands down to Capcom. It looks even better than RE2 and 3 and the game has more elements on screen and wider and more open scenarios. This is how you optimize a game 👌🏻

I get that it's a console targeting 1440p 60fps, but it's not a necessity, especially when it takes a noticeable performance hit.

I used to think that it was equal to the One X in terms of gpu power but this is the first game to actually show that it is in fact superior, 1440p@60 vs 1080p@60 is a huge leap, that's why people should not be misleaded by its "just 4tflops"
@bill gates , 6-TFLOPS of GCN is equal to about 4-TFLOPs RDNA 2 but that's assuming the Engine/API (DirectX 11) is using the cores traditionally and in series. GCN was designed for parallel processing but required DirectX 12 feature levels to even address its potential but Microsoft was forced to still favor NVIDIA CUDA so programmer stayed with DirectX 11 and in turn crippled the Xbox One for awhile. Things have changed, AMD has grown huge amounts of support and even Epic reprogrammed Unreal Engine (DirectX 12) to fully favor AMDs RDNA 2 technology in which means the Xbox One X isn't going to see nearly as much boost as the Series S that has drastically better parallel processing potential compared to its predecessors still using GCN. Xbox One X is DirectX 12_0 feature level (infant). Xbox Series X/S have DirectX 12_2 feature level (young adult) so its drastic jump in comparison when its comes to actually using a fully DirectX 12 Engine like Unreal Engine 5.
I tried to buy an xbox series X but as a lot of people know it's near impossible to get one because of those fuckin bots so I got an xbox one X instead this channel really is a HUGE help.

the Xbox One S on the other hand is really showing the age in those last releases, almost always the version of it is considerably worse than in the Base PS4, but considering the hardware and its age it's still surprising to see this game running so well on it.

The series s has a better cpu for sure but it's best for emulation through dev mode

I think the Xbox One X is capable to run this game in locked 60fps at 1620p like the past RE games (RE2 and 3 remake).

Y los pobres esbirros del calvo creyendo que Ps5 limitaba a las otras plataformas , ¡es Xbox One Fat el que las limita!, no se puede implementar nada nuevo que no pueda correr en ella, una máquina de 1,3 Tflops de arquitectura GCN y memoria ddr3, sí ddr3 ya que a diferencia de Ps4 esta prescindió de gddr5 y es eso ligado al ancho de banda tan bajo lo que ha limitado mucho a la One original.
Pd: En PC corre con mejores texturas, iluminación, mejor raytracing y framerate que Ps5, limitada es la cabeza de algunos.

per SI es la que peor frame rate tiene, las demás se mueven entre 50-60 fps y la XBOX FAT entre 30-45 fps, no diría que sea la XBOX FAT la que limita, todos sabemos que este juego tenía PS4 y XBOX ONE como consolas base de desarrollo, solo que sea adaptó a la next gen para sacar provecho, porque se nota en la calidad gráfica que no hay diferencia abismal, el próximo resident EVIL 9 si es el verdadero next gen

There's no reason this game wouldn't be great on Xbox one and I'm glad it runs so well. I played the remakes this week and began 7 yesterday and lemme tell you something: the only thing holding 7's visuals is the artistic vision from the team. Because it looks pretty rough compared to the sequencing entries.
This should be no surprise, given the fact this project was just a plaything for Capcom and, according to he leaks, it was already playable on last gen before they thought of doing current gen. Capcom is on a roll, my god. After almost two decades of doing bad bad bad things with their ips, Capcom does not seems like it could do wrong to their fans. I'm glad dead rising 4 and that DMC killed every hope of Western developers working with Capcom anymore. God, this is a good friggin company.
This game looks sick on all systems. The optimization on Capcom's part is out of this world. The series x with ray tracing holding 60fps at least slightly over 90% of the time is badass and even the one X looks excellent. The series S should have had a 1080p RT mode and a 1440p RT mode combined into a Quality and Performance mode settings, using the same downscale to 1080p assets from the one X. I feel like developers don't give that little powerhouse enough credit. The older Xbox one probably should have been capped at 30fps. It looks good but there is for sure some frame stuttering.

A excepción de Stadia en todas es lo mismo osea dónde se juegue se tendrá una experiencia brutal lo único que cambia en cada una son los fps y que en la nuevas consolas tienen una mínima ligera mejora gráfica a comparación de las actuales pero no es nada ya sabemos que el juego es de One y PS4 pero vendido como next gen al final a disfrutarlo y listo.

XB1X is still a beast, however Capcom should make the resolution dynamic or lower it to 1728P CB. I played XBSX version of the weekend which out performed PC (3800X, RTX 2070). My PC rig performance is closer to 50 than 60, but the settings are higher with a true 4K resolution. However XBSX HDR implantation is better and it's abit more stable at slightly lower fidelity. Anywho pre-ordered on Xbox platforms.

@@cornbread7095 It´s kinda an odd one in the mix. It has more raw power in terms of tflops than Series S, but at the same time it has some serious bottlenecks. So it can put higher resolution than Series S, but otherwise is weaker of the two. Like in this game, you can choose to have same resolution on one X than you have with Series X. Series S cannot even put out that kind of resolution. but it comes with a cost in performance (on one X). At the same time Series S is not performing too well with RT on.
I have One X and it´s still a great machine, but clearly last gen. I also managed to get PS5 and the difference is quite huge between those consoles. Like it would be with Series X.
Series S however, is something I wouldn´t buy at all. If I would be so broke, I would wait to get at least 100€ /$ to buy the discless PS5 as it´s much more capable console.

Just checked demo on PS4 PRO and Xbox One X. Both consoles with SSD and loading times are much better on Xbox external SSD (not more than 6-7 seconds) than on PS4 PRO internal SSD (at least 2x longer or more). In high resolution mode on XOX game looks very nice and don't drops frames much but on PS4 PRO it's unplayable for me because unstable framerate (and a bit worse graphics).
PS4 pro and Xbox one x doenst have SSD they both have Internal mechanical drives except PS4 pro can be a exception due its internal mechanical drive can be taken out and replace with an Internal Sata 3 SSD. But the PS5 and Series S and X both have SSD's the series S and X both have regular NVME SSD where as the PS5 has a custom made NVME SSD.
@@joeyreidelbach5509 Its also possible to switch the HDD with an 2.5 SATA SSD on Xbox one x. Thats what i did. Also changed the thermal paste with Liquid metal. Now its a lot faster(interface as well) and quieter. True Power House for 300€ including a 1TB SSD. I hope Alien Fireteam Runs @4K on one x

It is barely perceptible in BFV (in that video game it is where the ray tracing is most noticeable) I think the quality of the textures is more noticeable.

If you are buying a new console for raw power then go for the ps5 digital, it has the same specs as the base ps5 and it's only $100 more than the xss, which is an underpowered 2020 console for it being just $100 cheaper ngl

I think its the framerate. When something has like a weird framerate like this when it's not capped at 30fps. The game looks blurry because of how low the frames are

I have the og Xbox One, as well. Big fat ol' reliable. Been with me since my 15th birthday on November, 2014. Just bought the Series S. It still hasn't arrived, but to me the cost alone is worth it. If you want super ultra graphics, maybe the Series X is your console. But if you, like me don't want to spend too much on a console while still being next gen, series S is for you.
Don’t feel bad man I’m still using my original one too. At some point we’ll all get a series x but all we can do is wait. Just be glad we can still play the newest games on it lol

Graphics are so insane these days I can't even really tell much difference. Hell I remember when the 360 came out playing GOW and was like damn these graphics can't get any better.

I loved my Xbox one X however when I would run it in high fidelity mode 4K it was awful and stuttering. When I ran it prioritizing frame rate it ran great and look great. But almost unplayable in 4K.

OG Xbox One looks the best IMO, most peoples eyes are not 100% perfect so its more realistic in a first person shooter to have slightly blurry vision

I had the One S (paid 50€) until 2 years ago and was a really good console, especially for the price, but now you can really see the difference between next gen. Last Year I choosed to buy One X instead Series S because I bought together with a tv 55' 4k and Im really happy about it. I know that havent an ssd, Quick resume, rt as Series S, but for who owns a big tv I guess One X is a better choice, for 4k, 1tb hard disk, price (paid 150€). Until now the only game I really want to play and is not on old gen is Resident Evil 4😢.
Next year I'll do the upgrade with Series X.

One X looks the best. Series X is close but something is a little off. Maybe a filtering used. Don't care for the ray traced shadows. As for loading times, an SSD takes care of that.

So my question is,are companies still releasing next gen titles for a shitty 2013 hardware to cater to gamers who may or may not be masochist,or are they just looking for extra bucks. Like they do realize that they are holding back a lot of the game's potential both in terms of creativity and gameplay especially for those who normally buy new pcs and consoles to get the best experience.
I think the problem is that not enough people still can get their PS5 or Series X. Many people are still forced to play on old consoles and that´s why developers are also "forced" to make games for them. I honestly believe Capcom´s intention was to make this only for next gen, but because of the problems with supply, they changed the plan.
Only thing I can say to you is cry about it if you have a problem with people on Old gins playing this game there's nothing you can do about it and good job for them because now people who have older consoles can play this game because heaven forbid someone from another system in the past and play a Modern game.
Muy entretenido el video. Mis conclusiones de lo que acabo de ver en consolas de Microsoft. Mejor versión: Xbox SX. 2da mejor versión: Xbox One X. 3er lugar: Series S. Último lugar: Xbox One. Sorprendente lo bien que luce este juego en Xbox One X, en el que pese a no tener Raytracing, se llega a ver mejor que Series S y muy similar a Series X. Aquí queda demostrado que los 4k nativos de ONE X sí marcan una diferencia. Sigue siendo un tanto complicado recomendar comprar una Series S, si se tiene One X, a como sigamos viendo juegos intergeneracionales y más aún si no se cuanta con un tv o monitor de más de 60hz, en la que puedas apreciar una tasa de framerate superior a 60 fps o juegos competitivos a 120 fps. Para finalizar, debo decir que el raytracing de este juego me ha decepcionado, creo que no compensa la merma en el rendimiento. Ni por asomo se acerca a la demostraciôn de raytracing en consolas visto en Watch Dogs: Legion.

Man, you are really not seeing the Reality, the filters and textures in Series X and S are the Same, One X used Hd textures even in the 4k resolution. Just see x and S version side by side, there is almost no differences.
Si cuentas la Xbox One S ella queda en cuarto lugar porque creeme que se ve igual que la One X en el modo HD pero no con los 60 fps sino con 40 y 50 fps las dos son grandes maquinones nada que envidiar a las series S y X a mi parecer.
Ya la One fat si quedaría en último lugar osea en el quinto puesto.
Si tienes una one X, yo creo que el salto sería a la Series X y no a la Series S, pero cada uno consta de diferentes presupuestos.

Resident evil games are allways interlaced since resident evil 7 and thier method is very resource saving
Then this might be the reason why they don't cap it at 30 fps in Xbox One S. If they do, interlaced at 30 fps would look awful, i think.

@DreamerGalaxiusBecause Microsoft made the stupid decision to give Series S 4 tflops instead of 6 tflops. Many games are viewed with low textures.

Why does Xbox One X look so much better on the outdoor portions?
The only selling point for Xbox series x is crazy fast load times and ray tracing.
I have the xbx1x which is freaking impossible to find thx to covid. I got mine dec 2019 new. The only down side is 4K/60 limit or 1080/120, slow load and no ray tracing. It is a freaking beast and super small. Xbx series x 8k/30, 4K/120 is good on paper but 8k library is years away as it cheap 8k tv. Also x series is huge and puts off way way more heat. You need to consider that for sure. My xbx1x heats up my bedroom about 10 degrees more than any other room and in summer it sucks. Series x is worse. I’ll wait till series x slim comes out and is small, less power consumed and way less heat. I’ve been a gamer since 1970 80 and every system made so I know how to play my cards
