So many factors into this like which school did you go to? Who do you work for? etc.. Not because you studied it as well mean you gonna have the same opportunities as some else..
Rich dad, poor dad xD
How good are you in math?
To all those watching who think excellent math skills are a requirement prior to being an engineer, they're not I'm a mechatronics engineer. It's a very hard degree with specialities in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. You don't have to "be good at math" to be an engineer. This guy probably was, but it's not a requirement. I sucked at math prior to entering college. But I pushed myself really hard and studied until I was able to understand it.
You don't need to be discouraged from being an engineer just because you think math is difficult and you're not "good at it". There are not many people who are good at math and enjoy it in highschool. All that matters is being driven and motivated to be an engineer, and pushing yourself through college. It's not easy, but being good at math doesn't make it much easier. The drive and dedication to sit through 7+ hours of lecture/lab every day and then go home and study for 4+ more hours is what makes you excel as an engineer.
So to all those who have aspirations to be an engineer, don't let your aptitude for math be your deciding factor, let your drive and dedication take you to where you want to be, and learn the necessary skills along the way.
