Did you know that sleep has two different stages? NREM and REM. REM stands for rapid eye movement, the n meaning non. REM sleep actually boarders being awake compared to NREM sleep. REM sleep is also where you dream AND it happens after usually 90 minutes after falling sleep. It’s the most restorative stage of sleep and you go in and out of it. That is why it’s recommended to sleep more to get more REM sleep!

Now that it’s finally summer I still will be busy with marching band but I cannot wait to get sleep again.
