Nomos have the best customer service out there. I had an issue with my Club 701, they arranged overseas return back to Germany to get it fixed and turned around in three weeks. Zero cost to me. They organised everything and kept me up to date every step of the way. Will get my kids one each when they are older. They are perfect.
It's a very nice watch, elegant and slim. Personally, the lug width doesn't bother me as it used to. There is a wide variety of odd size straps available these days and 19mm is very common. Excellent review .
Still not sure why they went for the double date display to kick off their new movement but I am very curious what they make with it. Could be anything from a GMT complication, a Moon Phase or Even an annual callendar.
Nomos Club Sport Neomatiks are really cool watches. They are thin, pretty, have great specs including water resistance and the DUW 3001 caliber is pretty amazing.
Hi. My wrist size is 6.5" (16,5cm) and I own two Nomos: a 35mm Tangente ref. 139 2020 (limited ed) and a 36mm Club Campus cream coral ref 714.GB. Both look great on my wrist. I've tried once a 38mm Tangente: awful! It looked like a pizza on my wrist. Depending on where you are in the world it might not be easy but I do recommend to give them a try before buying one because they have a unique look&feel. I'd say it's either you love or hate them. No middle-ground.
@@cerealport2726 My Tangomat Datum has about 48mm lug to lug and it wears okay on my 160mm wrist. The lugs are long but especially on the Tangwnte they are very skinny and quite inconspicuous. You can’t compare the lugs to lug length with an integrated bracelet sport watch.
I like the movements Nomos use. Beautiful. Nice blue dial but still too simple for my taste as I like more flashy or busy dials. They have their customers but should drop something different to attract new buyers if that’s what they want.
I like the outer track date display. But why is the date shown twice? It's a nonsensical move of redundancy. They should have added a day complication in lieu of the digital date at the 6 o'clock position. Then it would be like a Rolex day-date but better as it's without the annoying cyclops, and with a more unique date display. And, if I were to venture a guess, it's one singular date wheel to show both dates. You can add this outer-track date display to any date watch, all else constant. There are other issues I have, but they're entirely preferences such as the thin squared off lugs, and the even-numbered markers (I prefer plain markers such as those used for the odd numbered hours).
Nomos is one of those brands that have amazing designs, but are held back from the way they implement certain things in my opinion. The lug to lug distance on their watches just make them seem very unbalanced. The mail endlinks on their bracelets are particularly egregious. Also, their prices are just a touch too much I think.
I’ve owned a few NOMOS watches and have reviewed them on my channel. Simply put they are fantastic watches!! My favourite model is the Orion in 36mm on my 7 inch wrist. 😊
My guy... the double date indication is a single complication... There is no 'flexing of muscles' required. It is a neat re-interpretation of a date display.

How do these wear on a 6-6.5inch wrist...?

Sometimes you just have to stop lengthening the lugs every year

I have never met anyone who likes Nomos’s lugs. What is the point to destroy beautiful watches with ridiculous lugs?

Super pointless. Using the space for a second time zone would have been a home run.
