Yes, pronunciation is crucial to good ghazal gaayki. Agreed! But due to certain regional and linguistic constraints, one can't pronounce certain languages. So, we have to be tolerant. Thanks.

Pakistan has nothing to do with Urdu, the persianization and arabization is urdu is akin to killing the language of its earthly rural and urban charm. The only contribution of Pakistan is to rob urdu of its originality to showcase its islamic roots. Urdu has no religion, it is a secular language promoted. U a cultural elite which has both urban and rural connoisseurs. It is time to use the devnagiri script for urdu so that it’s appreciation can be made more widespread. So too Punjabi in Pakistan should be written in gurmukhi and not scripted in Arabic. Bilal, it is time to let go of fake aura of superiority over language and pronunciation.
