I am in same situation and decided to upgrade to a G29 from a DFGT due to the brook adapter 8 minute timeout issue and noticed the same thing in GT7 and GT sport in that the rumble strip vibration is very weak almost non existent. No settings I change seem to change it really although a higher torque setting does give me a bit more feedback but i have read the opposite that it’s better to have it lower so it doesn’t remove all of the energy. Either way I think it is a fault of the game and not the wheel itself as it vibrates just fine when playing another game like Dirt 5.
