Since I started using the 33 brews log books .I have become a lot better at notes. My happy brews, my not so happy and my favorites. I have filled 6 logs (almost) .and yes I smell my yeast!!! Look at and record batch codes and best by dates. I smell hops, and grains.(like Homer in a doughnut shop) drool. I realize I often over bitter hop a lot of my brews. But heck. I'm having fun.
