Jeremy Mcgrath was the Michael Jordan of Supercross. ICON and the real GOAT. The Nac Nac was his "Air Jordan" signature! Showtime buttpatch was fucking awesome too!! The Bell/TLD helmets paint scheme are all classics!
I could listen to you both all day long. I think you have a part 10 and part 12 to come. A supercross king but also very well spoken and a very humble. Mc all the way
Jeremy you need to compete in the great american Hill climb again. That was the highlight of my life watching you take 2nd in your first ever climb especially at the hardest hill in circuit
Steel roots where McGrath jumped of this jump and landed into a wheelie was so incredible at that time, my jaw dropped to the floor at the skill of this guy, respect ✊
MC was like a god to us back in the "golden era of moto", and it was so much fun watching him pick guys apart when he was on top, especially live! Yes MC3 please!
Jem should come over to Britain next year for the vets mx at farligh castle. Lots of American stars are arriving year by year .the brit fans will love it! Kind regards from Liverpool uk.
I'll never forget the first time I met Mcgrath in 91 a Loretta Lynn's when he was on Team Peak it was awesome than he blew up and I got to see him and talk to him every year up till his last year and I'd have tons and tons of stuff for him to sign and he would always take his time and sign it all and that meant the world to me and he gave one of his 96 Honda jerseys and one of his 98 Chaparral Yamaha Jerseys and when he rode for Suzuki of Troy I went to that shop all the time and I had a chance to buy the RM250 he used to ride in the Steel Roots Video Thanks for everything KING, SHOWTIME,SUPERMAC MCGRATH FOR ALL THE GREAT MEMORIES AND I STIILL HAVE EVERYTHING THAT YOU GAVE ME AND SIGNED!!!!!!
this guy needs to learn how to interview people.. greta guy don't get me wrong but he's smiling 24/7 there's a certain point jeremy is looking at him like be real dude
Had to go find the goon ride vid because I forgot all about it. Looking back now as a young man riding in our local dunes and track that is exactly how we rode as beginners and thought we were totally awesome. Somewhere I even have video of the quarter second one-hander when we were kids. LOL
Funny how he speaks about the changing of the guard 😂 like when RC came to play and Honda probably did that RC with the crown opening ceremony bullshit to spite MC! Then there was JS7!😎
Another home run Donn. More BMX influence discussion next time! I just read MC's old autobiography this year and loved that part of it. All of the ways the BMX days influenced his riding and approach. Would love to hear his retrospect on it now so many years later.
McGrath needs to get his facts straight it didn't take to the 4th season for RC to win Championship he came into 250 supercross in 1999 part-time then went full time in 2000 and then won it in 2001. He only had two loses a 2nd and a 3rd place finish so it was only 1 full year until he dethroned MC! Then from 2001 to 2006 he never lost a championship indoors or outdoors! I love MC but he really has an issue with RC's Racing career! Look it up. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ricky_Carmichael
Such a good ambassador to the sport. Thanks for promoting what we love and being so honest about the current problems with our sport. No matter what you do in life or how much money you have, at the end of the day your name is all you have.
I'm the same age as Tony Hawk and 3 years older than Jeremy McGrath. Me and all my friends were trying to out do all of these guys jest to bust up our bodies. Whether it was Skateboarding, BMX or Motocross we loved it and lived it. Thanks Jeremy, it's nice to hear the back stories to old memories.
Second. It's good to see Jeremy McGrath. 93 was the frame geometry that he used up until 97 with the advent of the aluminum frame. Bradshaw quit in 94.
J, J, Jeremy, Jeremy, J, J, Jeremy, McGrath. Man if I had a dollar for every time I watched that video back in the day, I could take a nice 7-day cruise or something!...lol.
I think it was either 79 or 80 i was at the old Corona race track and Gordon Ward was doing heel Clickers over one of the jumps just about every lap so the heel clicker has been around for a while lol
10 minutes in and digging it. I already want four-five more visits! Thank you Yeah! For mentioning Gordon Ward and his “heal-clicker.” I saw Gordon do it at Corona Raceway on a Friday night.
I would have to give the 1st free style to Magoo, not thats what he was trying to create but he was just crazy as hell on a bike, I always remember him on the cove of DB magazine doing a somewhat whip on a Maico, I bent more handlebars trying to do that
MC, great guy, great interview, and his attitude on drugging sounded AOK to me.. I never raced at this level but I was a runner and running is extremely hard to do and train for... Get your butt out of bed and do your HR training and your body will respond. No shortcuts and if you are looking for shortcuts, you might be a loser.

in terraferma he was jumping into a nose wheelie
Yep he did both and it was so cool to watch at that time, brill vids 👏
The SML show is fantastic! Keep up the good work .
please let people know just how stupid hats look with bent over ears
MC was like a god to us back in the "golden era of moto", and it was so much fun watching him pick guys apart when he was on top, especially live! Yes MC3 please!
MC was not like a "god": He's REAL, not fake news.
Fuck yea good reference with Andy Grider, I know that dude personally and he’s the fucking man.
Was that a knock at Aldon Baker when MC made the comment about cycling trainers coming into MX and SX with the supplements
Jem should come over to Britain next year for the vets mx at farligh castle. Lots of American stars are arriving year by year .the brit fans will love it! Kind regards from Liverpool uk.
McGrath still nasty after all these years. Looks like he’s 20 again
The nacnac and the cancan were awesome
Every time you talk about an incident or riding gear etc you should back it up with a grab, I think that would make this good show even better.
Such a humble dude true legend
I need that jacket MC is wearing
Love Showtime! He is a icon

I'm glad Mike Goodwin and the AMA didn't kill him back in the day when he worked with Mickey Thompson.
Just read this article. motocrossactionmag.com/my-afternoon-with-mike-goodwin-the-father-of-supercross-a-convicted-killer/

Hail to The King
Looking forward to part 3! No lying with MC...true sportsman and good man.
Good to hear from the King 👍
Oh and it was at ATLANTA SUPERCROSS THAT I WATCHED HIM BECOME KING AND I ALSO STILL HAVE PICTURES OF HIM FROM 92 TO 05
We would love to see the pics.

The king never disappoints🤙🤙
I saw Gordon Ward do a heal clicker at the "El Toro" track close to where the Oakley headquarters is located in late 91 or early 92.
J, J, Jeremy, Jeremy, J, J, Jeremy, McGrath.
