I built it on a budget starting with an old garage that I bought restored and rebuilt, the rest I built from scratch.
DIY, restoration and building projects is my hobby, I’m not an expert and this is not a how to video, but if you take something from it that’s great.

Rob, what a great place to just get away from “life”. You’ve obviously been working on this awhile. I’m in the process of adding some double doors to the back of my shop/man cave leading to a freshly poured concrete deck. What a job. I believe in multipurpose spaces as well. Thanks for the inspiration.

Nice, best shop I’ve seen on UA-cam so far, I’ve never been a fan of the metal shops with large garage doors I always felt like I’m at work in those. This type shed you have is comfy a relaxing type environment. Very nice.

wow just wow so set up , love the lot my sheds are not as clean and tidy as yours ,its a great inspiration too do a clean up in my sheds its exactly what i love and want , now i just need too get in there and do it

A great look around Rob, think I could live in this space. I wouldn't want man glitter in there so would need to cut everything outside 😀
Many Thanks David! I have limited extraction for man glitter😆 but I have plans to make extraction bigger 👍👍 for now when I’m building a project, I wait until the end and do a huge clean up!!😁😉 cheers rob 👍
What a great space! I work from home, but have a dedicated bedroom currently. I might end up with something similar (small shed) though if we don't want to make a space to dedicate inside the new home. We have a room at the new place for a building. I can temp out of a bedroom while fixing it.

Rob you need some fine dust extraction for general air cleaning and a good vac unit when you get down to some serious wood work seeing as how it’s a duel purpose use

Why have I never thought to put my shop keyboard and mouse in a drawer?! Good thinking. Sometimes we just need a nudge. LOL Love that you have a lounge area in the shed. You've used the space to it's max which is awesome. Cheers from Canada.

just W O W!!!! Serious envy there Rob. I have loads of tools but no space to put them 😢. Very well thought out and everything to hand. Would love to get an insight in more detail of how the A/V system is connected - particularly the com ports into multi TV's????. Is it one feed into one and daisy chain each TV???? Many Thanks Nigel, I still have much tool and storage sorting to do, cupboards are hiding a multitude of sins😆 but a video to come for some ideas I have👍 the TVs are run on s serial pin plugs, then I used splitters, daisy chain would actual be better with a booster, but the picture seems ok, in my next part 2 video I’ll draw up a basic schematic diagram along with the audio set up.. I’ll drop you a shout out if you like? Looking forward to getting back on the allotment soon, videos to follow.. hopefully I might get close to your level one day 🙌 💐 🙌😉👍 all the best rob

Very nice shed. I always like to take ion other's excellent work. Scout Crafter alerted me to your channel. Those pockets as part of your back splash are so handy to keep all those little things like pencils, knives and stuff. Nice touch. Would you mind sharing what model that Techniques Amp and tuner are above your desk? I am a classic stereo fan and that looks great. Your shed reminds me of the Commander Cody song Too Much Fun .

Very nice. If I may ask since I am basically in the middle of such...what is the footprint of the main building in feet please and is there any air conditioning at all? Also what did you do for electrical service?
Hi Jon, 30’ x 12’ is the main shed plus the bar kitchen , I don’t have air con.. I have a cable running underground direct to the shed from the house, with a consumer unit in the shed, but I need to upgrade to a higher amp /mm cable to cope with some tools and electrical equipment I use, this will be wired direct into the consumer unit in my house by an electrician . I advise Always getting expert electrical advice first though! All the best rob
@@WeekendShedHead Thanks Rob. I have gone for a 12' X 36' building so I am pretty excited by your results as far as how much crap you can actually fit in there. I'm sure it's cozy but functional? I just finished my underground electric at 100 amps - should be plenty even for the shop part I think. I am doing kind of a split purpose - in my head at least - workshop on one side and pub shed on the other. My building has two 8' lofts on each end that should help define the space. I'm having "fun" doing it mostly by myself but have little interest in filming, I do take pictures as I go though if you have any interest in sharing or offering advice at all. Cheers!
