Weren't there two other people that worked in the Fire department that were also discovered to have lied about a police officer's conduct while issuing a citation? I'm positive that one actually had to plead guilty to a felony charge of filing a false report! Perhaps, there's something in the water...
If the police try to arrest you, inform them that you are on vacation from your job and are immune until your leave is over.
