Preach (κηρύσσω) occurs 61 times in the New Testament. From John the Baptist to Jesus to the Apostles, even the angels in Revelation.

Preaching relates to the sacraments as calling the people of God back to covenant faithfulness, and to the renewal of that covenant. Whenever you preach repentance, you are calling people to the covenant. This is how the eucharist should be central in the worship - it is the meal of covenant renewal that the preacher is calling people to, it is the feast of God that He invites his people to share. I think Helm and Bruno set up a bit of a false dichotomy when talking about the sacraments, as God's word always calls to fellowship, which is usually symbolised in some sort of meal. Besides that, most churches that put the eucharist centrally (and let's be honest: they are the ones with the stronger claim to Church tradition) put so much Scripture in the liturgy around it that it is explained.
I loved the video up to that point, but this all-too-typical separation of word and sacrament is lamentable. They need each other: you need to be invited to the feast; you need a feast to be invited to.
