I made it! I forgot to put fresh lemon juice in before adding flour and baking powder so I left it out because I didn’t want a fail. I brushed on some of the straight lemon juice after it cooled out of oven. It was very moist and wonderful! I took most of it to work and everyone loved it. I’m making another one this weekend. Chef Jeffrey, you are an awesome teacher.😊🤗😋

That looks really good. I will have to try this cake. I love lemon desserts. I think when I make it, I will mix the lemon zest in the sugar and let it sit for a couple of hours to let it infuse. I like lemon emulsion instead of lemon extract. Buttermilk , no shortening, all butter. And a chocolate ganache!! LOL!

I 😂 at title because I have seen some of the failures but you pulled it off 😊 . I thought the lemon juice , something about it , if not done properly , can cause a problem, not this cake but that lemon juice has messed me up on some dessert. Thanks for video.

Follow the directions Why would you want to lower the temperature? I just showed you the correct way to make it 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes The recipe works

Where did you get the cake bowl?
The top looks a little too brown, probably due to the dark pan. I would bake it on 325 or so if using a dark pan. Your thoughts?
