I bought the GT675RS kit from Z1 a year ago. Well worth it, very complete kit. After install, you wont have to worry about any oil/water, feed/return problems with the new turbos. I just give this (unrelated to Z1) warning, if you go with a bigger turbo like I did, DO NOT RUN DIVIDERS on your down pipes. I had 4 psi of boost creep in 3rd gear +. It wasn't fun to take the down pipes back off in car, remove the dividers, then reinstall the down pipes again. Zero boost creep since they were removed.
The Z31 is my dream car, and fortunately I can say it is also my first and current car. I wanted the car because of what it is, a cool 80s car with sharp edges and pop up headlights. I've found the Datsun community to hate the car because it's "too new" and the people who are into 90s drifters they think it's "too old". It's amazing how many people disregard the Z31, but I look past this because I do not care if no communities love this car because only I and I alone need to, and I do. I'm happy you do too :)
Why you should 2JZ swap your 300zx... Easier to work on. Braaaaaaammmm stutututu. Easier to work on. Good to 700hp on stock internals. Easier to work on. Buttery smooth straight six. Did I mention its easier to work on... If you need to work on it.

What do you mean with dividers?
I think he means weld the down pipes with your headers But I don’t think that would be a good idea. He probably just had shitty clamps

Find yourself a factor turbo car. Much much cheaper and no bugs to work out. With a z car you'll spend plenty time under the hood either way.

Cost $$ but it can be done.
You can turbo an NA motor, and not that expensively honestly. You can turbo the stock motor to about 400hp before you need any major modifications.
Yosvani Rodriguez I have a friend who has a NA motor and he makes 650whp on a totally stock engine. LOL. I’ve learned a lot in the last year.
