The more the time passes, the more I wish that DE would add something such as an "Advanced Mandachord" to be able to work freely with tempo, notes and everything else, also longer duration.
Give us some mods for it, at least these would be more useful than K-drive mods.
Something like Dreams Ps4 music creator would make me spend days making music xD

I really don't think you needed to do all this to arrive at the same result but the fact that you do all of this thoughtful planning and really push the limits on a technical level is impressive
Well, like I said, normally this would have taken me 15 seconds to say "no" and move on. And even when I don't say no the whole process is typically over in less time than it takes to watch this video.

Not gonna lie, you would think that DE would have at least considered having this song more compatible with the Mandachord. What with it being their first major music number after releasing Octavia Prime.... Then again I would like to see DE do half as much with the Mandachord as we see on this channel.
Pfft if the dang Octavia Prime trailer isn't Mandachord compatible then nothing is gonna be.

@@Buff00n God the mandachord should've had a rework with octavia prime's release to make it better for composition, the only thing that's even somewhat usable is the percussion, and that's VERY limited.

Lord this just makes me wish DE would implement a BPM setting for the mandachord. As it is it's so limiting.
The reason for the locked BPM is the same as the reason why they restricted everyone to a single scale.
It's so having more than one Octavia in a party wouldn't turn into an earbleed.

The choice shouldn't be between an earbleeding clash of random noise or nothing, so they went for the middleground and restricted everyone to the same scale.

This honestly feels like an episode of Scrapheap Challenge :) Work with what you have, make what you don't, make it functional. The amount of effort you went through adapting this song is quite a sight to behold.

I was going to say that I liked the verse the most, then the second chorus and first chorus, but 'Hey.' is my actual favorite.
This showed up randomly on my feed and... i love it. I suck at understanding music but i gathered more from this video than a few years of high school band classes. I haven't even played warframe in months because i got bored of it but i might just play again just to mess around on octavia with some of my favorite songs blasting.
(If you could make mandascores for a few of the P5R songs, specifically "I believe" "Colors flying high" and "Gentle madman" you would make my day)

I guess I am in the small group of people that absolutely love bass parts. I nearly started freaking out when I actually heard the bass vocalist on this song on my like third listen through. And there's the one slide in the instrumental part near the middle that's insanely cool.
This may be my favorite video on UA-cam for the foreseeable future. Music as a process is always so interesting

I can see why people haven't done this in mandacord... thanks for attempting, but sadly this isn't too useful in many things except for showing off, I love your work though!
DE needs to either revamp the mandachord, or they need to ensure that all their songs can be made reasonably within the limitations of their mandachord.

couldn't they just let you limit it to hearing the mandachords of the people you're grouped with? If you have people you play with regularly, you could coordinate and get amazing results :)

They should make a more advanced interface with more octave options for Octavia/Mandachord, it would be optional so that it doesn't terrify beginners but otherwise I think the people are ready.

I love 😍the look of her prime frame. I want to play her so badly. Unfortunately for me, I HATE 🤬the way her skills work. I get irrationally angry when playing her. Lol. Especially the way her buffs are applied from the 3rd skill. I'm sure it's just a me problem but that doesn't make me feel any better about it.

For her 3, you can always do what a lot of people do and fill the melody up so you can't miss. But overall, you can think of having to continually refresh her ability timers to be analogous to how a DJ has to continually start new tracks and time them correctly.

They usually stick to the pentatonic scale, which is good for the Mandachord. Unfortunately, they almost never stick to the *first five notes* of the pentatonic scale, which is bad for the Mandachord.
I wish they would rework the mandachord and give us more space and tools to work with
