I’ve had this problem for a while I’ve laughed when people were giving me discipline and when my friend‘s cat died and all sorts of inappropriate situations but the truth is I just laughed because I’m uncomfortable and I actually do feel sad but I feel uncomfortable with showing my feelings so I laugh instead

Im in highschool and this is getting out of control, I laugh in the worst possible moments.
I was in PE and I laughed when they said I was gay (I'm straight) and thanks to that a lot of people now think I'm gay.
Another example is when I was talking to a girl in my class and there I go, I laughed, everything makes me laugh, someone writing, a bird, the breeze, everything.
And that laugh lasts like 20 minutes in the worst case scenario.
