Thank you for doing this. I like to stay open but not a McFadden fan. No matter how good a plot is if the writing is poor I can't read it. Too many other good ones out there.
I hated this book with every fiber of my being. The premise initially intrigued me, but the dialogue felt lifeless, and the whole forgiveness aspect at the end (without giving away spoilers) was completely unrelatable.
I want to read this one! I'm reading Five Total Strangers by Natalie D. Richards right now about 5 strangers in a car together in a blizzard! It's really good! I see you like to read on your porch like I do! ☺
@@ashleyslittlelibrary Me too! I have wisteria on my porch railing and up over the steps! When it blooms in the Spring it is magical! It looks and smells amazing!
I’ve never read a Freida, and all I hear is bad things, but why do I feel compelled to read at least one 🤷🏻♀️😆 I love your videos and reviews, Ashley! IF I were to eventually read one, which would you recommend?
I enjoyed this book but it’s not my favorite of hers. Its weird to me though how her books are always compared to another story. This one Misery. When she was going to take that hammer to break her knee. It really did. I think at the end her doctor gave her a glowing recommendation so she could adopt.
Clicked on this without watching the video! Pausing this to go read then I’ll come back and see if we can relate lol usually Freida is a hit or miss for me, honestly. Sometimes it seems like there’s no character development and the writing style is more simple
thanks! (I just read an "old" novel called _"Replay" by Ken Grimwood_ : what if you could start your life again from the years when you were young? What would we correct? I'm sad because _Vincent Message_ 's last novel _"Défaite des maîtres et possesseurs"_ isn't translated into English yet. So mind-blowing and it makes us think about our status of masters and owners of all creatures in this world... a masterpiece. I cried!)
I gave this one a 3.5 Stars. It was more enjoyable than some of the other books by Freida McFadden. I was not a big fan of the ending. There were way too many shenanigans and felonies made for more people not to have gone straight to jail.
I liked your review.I am listening to it and so far,it îs too slow and has no caracter development.I have read some other books by the same writer and liked them more. In general , Freida McFadden îs a good story teller, but her style is sometimes too simple and the characters are not complex.

Totally agree
I’ve been waiting for this lol 🍿
I listened to the audiobook and I don’t think that would help 😂 every time I heard the words little Tuna I cringed
Yaayyy! The return of the artwork! Sadie… 😂😂😂
loved this book :D
I'm always shocked how you're able to read and have some fun out of Freida's train wrecks.
Freida McFadden is a 3 star author for me. Currently reading it 🤣

I have DNFed SEVERAL Friedas. But I really enjoyed Ward D!!😂
@ Thank you, April! I’ll look up the synopsis for that one.😊

So, you never did give us your ⭐ rating in the video? What was your ⭐ rating so far? Did you like or enjoy it?

I’m thinking this is the end of her books for me. I loved the Housemaid. I do feel as her books come out they get worse instead of better.

I’ve still never read a Freida book 😅
It’s not too late to never start 😂😂😂
Please Read Do Not Disturb By Freida Macfadden You'll Definitely Enjoy It
Freida is def going for a certain demographic

I’ve given up on Freida. She is not for me.
I despised this book so much.
Hilarious review. It's her weakest book imo. It's not her usual standard
I hated this so much. I’m now done with her books after this.
Fair 😂
@ it was the infertility = crazy lady that got me, and then the fairytale ending for them 🤣
I hated this book, so underwhelming.
