I stumbled on his channel in May, he spoke on the marathon. Downloaded his training program bought my ticket for Sept 3rd Kauai marathon. I began training, stopped drinking, smoking, stopped hanging out with the wrong people aka my friends. Showed me they had nothing better to do but work weekdays & drink weekends & repeat. I lost all my body fat, 4 pack so far, eating clean, learned nutrition got out of the food matrix we’re all in. Then My business began to thrive, I can notice people treat me differently, they call to ask me shit on food or workouts. Now they’re my business partners that send me leads. I was broke and still kinda am but I have way more than I did. All because of this man. THANK YOU BEDROS. SINCERELY TY.

A great talk today! I grew up without a father and on top of it found out that I’m actually adopted. None of those parents matter because I’m a great father to my kids. They will never experience what I have and also God is my father!!! ✅💯

The scars remain but having children is a second chance to that love we always craved. I admire you... from one stranger to another... im proud of you for that mindset you carry and will carry on to your babies ❤
I was blessed with a wonderful dad. My mom left when I was little and my dad was sick on dialysis. He raised my brother and I alone and sick but I never seen him cry. I never saw him feel sorry for himself. He raised us to be strong with good values and morals. He passed away 11 years ago but he made sure I was ready.

I struggle with a lot of issues I had with my dad. I definitely miss him, and I wish he could see the things I've accomplished. But man...he and I butted heads a lot. He'd go on and on about the virtues of work ethic, while not lifting a finger around the house or holding down a job. My sister has said herself that he had no work ethic. He didn't have substance abuse issues, which is great. Even though he was almost always home, I rarely saw him. He'd sit upstairs in his office watching TV all day, until he was too unwell to get up the stairs - Then he'd sit in the living room watching TV. He spent a _fortune_ on tools, and never used them. I have no idea where the money came from. I asked mom and she said she didn't know either and didn't want to know. If I didn't know how to do some of the automotive work you mentioned, he'd just yell at me about it but never guide or assist. I remember trying to change my brakes when I was like 18 or 19 and all he did was yell at me to read the Haynes manual - Man that thing was poorly written. 😆 On the other hand, I wouldn't have a career in IT if it weren't for him. He was into that stuff LONG before it was common in households. We had computers and all kinds of other tech in the early 80's. There's video of my first birthday...I'm 43. How freaking much was a consumer grade video camera in 1981!? I look at the price of computer components back then, and it is _insane_ when adjusted for inflation. The man delivered newspapers at the time. It's very hard to reconcile a lot of things even now. There's obvious signs of love for my sister and I, but he was also incredibly distant. Medical care bordered on neglect (both parents to blame). He dealt with my mom's stupid alcohol problems that caused crazy amounts of fights in the house. I would not be the person I am today without him, but I also saw the kind of person I do not want to be. I don't _talk_ about the virtues of work ethic, I put it into action and my life is improving daily for it. I watch exceedingly little television, because I was constantly surrounded by how stupid and vapid and poisonous it is. I've spent a fortune on tools, but I put them to good use. I see every project and idea that the "family" was going to do that fizzled and petered out after I moved out, and I do them now, myself. I work sunup to sundown because he didn't. It's tough to get all these things in balance in my head.
As a 51yr old man who has struggled with becoming a man my whole life, this really spoke to me. I went in the Army right out of high school and it really helped me. However I still struggle and am still learning. I wish I had found this earlier in my life.

Ended up in foster care. Each move took a bit of my soul. One woman became a 2nd mom to me. She was tough but fair lost her several years later to lung cancer. Since them Ive been pretty numb emotional, and spirituallly. Went to high school, college and did above avg athletically/academically but after that just was sooo numb that I didnt care to really progress and spent my 20s on and off being a broke fucking loser. Had relationships but never cared to really manage them, both platonic and romantic. Luckily I have a few close friends and slowly turning it around at 32. Your advice reaffirmed and gave guiddance for a lot of questions and old wounds I have. This channel was a Godsend to brothas like me and I thank you for that! ✊🏾

We were his toys... strangled, threatened to make us eat our food from ground, beating us up.. he enjoyed bullying his kids.. and prevented us to seek help in my teens. Tried to get therapy in secret but he blamed me for gossiping family business and the abuse kept going another 7 years. when I had the chance I ran.. changed all my information and removed all things he used to control and monitor where I was.. he kept looking for me for years until he stopped now cause of his illness he cant hurt anyone anymore. I dont trust people prefer my time alone. No one cant hurt you if youre by yourself and youre free... I know these videos are directed to men but been trying to healing too and learn things what parents never taught me. Appreciate you try to help people. Thank you Bedros and wish you well!

I have been a single mom since then My priorities and focus have always been my children. For many years I was a Scoutmaster for over 20 years. Many of the young men in the Troop I never was a the boys parents. I was a father to many of them. Your you tube channel is adding value to men on a global scale. I would like to see your outline guide for the talks.
Man I was just planning on watching BK with my dinner but damn this one hit me hard.. growing up without a father due to drugs and incarceration I felt this whole episode. Luckily growing up my mother always made sure I had nice clothes, food, roof over my head and supports me in anything I choose to partake in. For years I struggled with alcohol addiction leading me to multiple run ins with the law due to drinking. Eventually started smoking weed and while this was a better option I could just see my life and the person I wanted to become fading away. Here I am today one year sober from alcohol and a couple weeks weed free and I completely understand now what this man is speaking on with vices. I’m becoming more of the man I want to be day by day and not letting others opinions dictate my life. Just wanna say thank you for this episode! You have no idea what watching this means to me. I loved this episode. The more I’ve woken up to myself and the different things that I’m experiencing under the surface, the feelings thoughts and emotions. I’m growing in appreciation for the tools that I’ve been given to resolve these underlying issues. No matter how good life has been, there’s always something that we misunderstand as kids, and we make it our whole life view. I grew up motherless but here I am. We have to be strong, regardless of what happens. The story of two twins who grew up with an alcoholic father, and they are asked why you became who you are. One is an alcoholic the other is a sober doctor. They both have the same answer. Because my father was an alcoholic.

Thank you for sharing this topic. I lost both my parents to drugs at a young age. An extremely toxic childhood I couldn’t escape. Now as a young adult I’ve accepted that I just got dealt some tough cards, now that I’m in control I know my outcome is up to me. I don’t victimize a past I come from but it’s nice to just have reassurance we are not alone.

Freaking made ne tear cause I actually had a father in my life, but my mom risked staying in a shitty ass relationship only because he would financially provide. But emotionally he was not there, and I felt rejected along with my two younger sisters. Im still in my healing phase, and still live with my father and mother as a 25 yr old but we have still not connected like that “father and son” connection. Thank you for this episode man.
Keep going lil bro that was exactly my situation growing up and till this day but now I’m 27 with a 2 year old son that I take full care of so now it’s my job to be THAT dad I never had… it’s get better
Great episode as usual. I didn't have a father but dealt with a few of my mothers abusive boyfriends on top of her physical and emotional abuse. When my kids were born I did my best to not be like my parents. I was hard but not abusive. They turned out to be my greatest achievement.

Im glad i had my dad for the short time that i did , he was a great man and i was so fortunate to have him but i wish he was still here when i need him the most but he couldnt control a diesase that ultimately took him , i now have big shoes to fill and it seems impossible to do half of what he did ,but i have no one really to go to . Thats the life i live i guess

I discovered you a couple of weeks ago, and I have been binge watching your videos. I know that you are talking to men but even as a woman I can get a lot of information from you. My question is, do you know of a woman out there who’s doing what you’re doing for women? There are so many women out there young women who don’t have an independent, strong, conservative woman out there to look up to like how men have you. Thank you for all your content it’s very encouraging and empowering and motivating.
Also take into account that there are men trying to save their marriage while their wifes are the ones in the carrousel and beacause of that they chose to end their relationship. There are also good men out there that do not divorce their children. I understood your point though. I love your work. Thank you for keeping us accountable in good and bad times.
My Dad has never been here for me my mom or my family. He was around. But it was better when he was gone. He let his business go to shit because he just gave everything away to “people less fortunate” we struggled our asses off and still do. Just found out he has had a secret family for the last 5 years and has a son. I wanted to be a better father than him, but I lost my daughter in august. It’s been a rough year, and I feel too beaten down to get back up. I still do, but it takes everything I have. Gif bless the good Dads out there.

I’m close to my mother. I never had a father. It’s a deep story in the physical world and it had repercussions mentally, emotionally and spiritually that I used to not understand. However I worked hard on myself and the Heavenly Father became my father and I had mentors, martial arts instructors etc. to fill the gap. That taught me new virtues and what a good man truly is. I was always loving because of my mother but I lacked self discipline. Once the meaning of that word became actual in my mind and that virtue became engrained in my character, I became whole, creative.. a go getter with confidence and humility. So with that being said, I do know the importance of being a good and present father. I can’t take full credit for it though because I was marvelously helped for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong. 2 Chronicles 26:15

Man I was just planning on watching BK with my dinner but damn this one hit me hard.. growing up without a father due to drugs and incarceration I felt this whole episode. Luckily growing up my mother always made sure I had nice clothes, food, roof over my head and supports me in anything I choose to partake in. For years I struggled with alcohol addiction leading me to multiple run ins with the law due to drinking. Eventually started smoking weed and while this was a better option I could just see my life and the person I wanted to become fading away. Here I am today one year sober from alcohol and a couple weeks weed free and I completely understand now what this man is speaking on with vices. I’m becoming more of the man I want to be day by day and not letting others opinions dictate my life. Just wanna say thank you for this episode! You have no idea what watching this means to me. Again, I couldn’t agree with you more! I grew up without a father and I’ve always lacked self esteem and belief in myself. When the going gets tough I often crumble, not knowing what to do for the best, missing that fatherly advice and masculine guidance. I loved this episode. The more I’ve woken up to myself and the different things that I’m experiencing under the surface, the feelings thoughts and emotions. I’m growing in appreciation for the tools that I’ve been given to resolve these underlying issues. No matter how good life has been, there’s always something that we misunderstand as kids, and we make it our whole life view. Thank you for sharing this topic. I lost both my parents to drugs at a young age. An extremely toxic childhood I couldn’t escape. Now as a young adult I’ve accepted that I just got dealt some tough cards, now that I’m in control I know my outcome is up to me. I don’t victimize a past I come from but it’s nice to just have reassurance we are not alone.

Freaking made ne tear cause I actually had a father in my life, but my mom risked staying in a shitty ass relationship only because he would financially provide. But emotionally he was not there, and I felt rejected along with my two younger sisters. Im still in my healing phase, and still live with my father and mother as a 25 yr old but we have still not connected like that “father and son” connection. Thank you for this episode man.
Keep going lil bro that was exactly my situation growing up and till this day but now I’m 27 with a 2 year old son that I take full care of so now it’s my job to be THAT dad I never had… it’s get better
Great episode as usual. I didn't have a father but dealt with a few of my mothers abusive boyfriends on top of her physical and emotional abuse. When my kids were born I did my best to not be like my parents. I was hard but not abusive. They turned out to be my greatest achievement.

I discovered you a couple of weeks ago, and I have been binge watching your videos. I know that you are talking to men but even as a woman I can get a lot of information from you. My question is, do you know of a woman out there who’s doing what you’re doing for women? There are so many women out there young women who don’t have an independent, strong, conservative woman out there to look up to like how men have you. Thank you for all your content it’s very encouraging and empowering and motivating.
Also take into account that there are men trying to save their marriage while their wifes are the ones in the carrousel and beacause of that they chose to end their relationship. There are also good men out there that do not divorce their children. I understood your point though. I love your work. Thank you for keeping us accountable in good and bad times.

My Dad has never been here for me my mom or my family. He was around. But it was better when he was gone. He let his business go to shit because he just gave everything away to “people less fortunate” we struggled our asses off and still do. Just found out he has had a secret family for the last 5 years and has a son. I wanted to be a better father than him, but I lost my daughter in august. It’s been a rough year, and I feel too beaten down to get back up. I still do, but it takes everything I have. Gif bless the good Dads out there.

I’m close to my mother. I never had a father. It’s a deep story in the physical world and it had repercussions mentally, emotionally and spiritually that I used to not understand. However I worked hard on myself and the Heavenly Father became my father and I had mentors, martial arts instructors etc. to fill the gap. That taught me new virtues and what a good man truly is. I was always loving because of my mother but I lacked self discipline. Once the meaning of that word became actual in my mind and that virtue became engrained in my character, I became whole, creative.. a go getter with confidence and humility. So with that being said, I do know the importance of being a good and present father. I can’t take full credit for it though because I was marvelously helped
