Bait-Ignoring Raccoon Trapped | Simple Approach Sometimes Fruitless

Here's a good example of what should have been an easy raccoon catch but wasn't.
After the raccoon ignored a tempting, well-placed trap, Ryan put a trap right over the hole. The raccoon was captured.
Keep it simple until the animal says you need to take the extra step.
Here, the camera really helps know what is going on.

I don't even waste time setting baited traps for raccoons living in a building. I just take the time to mount the trap blocking the hole. Or, depending on the season, I put a one-way door with a camera. I feel that way I'm not luring any other animals except what's actually causing the issues.
