Conquering the Cold: How to take an Ice Bath in a Frozen Lake

- I hope you all have had a good transition in to this new chapter, this new awaited year.
I thought I would start it off by taking a freezing but perfectly refreshing #icebath , during one of the coldest days here in #Sweden this far. A day where our whole country only have had minus degrees Celcius.
I also made this video into a practical little #guide for anyone who wants to take an ice bath from scratch, in a real frozen lake. I hope this guide can be useful for some beginners that are curious about ice baths.

Hej, hur långt är det från bastun till bryggan? Är det där något som du måste hyra?
Jag har turen att min morfar bor precis bredvid denna sjö med egen bastu. Så det är bara 30 meter till värmen!
Jag tar däremot gärna dopp utan bastu, men då blir det bara ett dopp och inte flera som när man har tillgång till bastu.

What if u get frostbite ?
Thankfully there is no risk of frostbite when you expose yourself to the cold only during a short time 🙂❄️
Har bara provat kallbad inomhus på spa och hade en del problem med att inte få musklerna i kroppen att krampa nästan direkt man kom ner i vattnet. Har du något bra tips på att göra det mer njutbart? För jag måste säga att det ser inbjudande ut när man ser dig och andra göra det.
Vad tråkigt att höra att du fått denna reaktion i kroppen. Jag har själv inte haft detta problem, men får dock väldigt ont i fötter/vrister just under doppet, som gör att jag inte kan stanna i så länge som jag önskar. Dock har det blivit lite bättre efter varje dopp. Kanske det räcker att doppa benen för dig till att börja med? Och att då öva ta kontroll över andningen.

I like Scandinavian nature, forests, Fields, hills, rivers, lakes, winters, springs, Summers and falls. Thats why I like that there are many UA-cam channels around these. Sometimes they are little bit similar, but however there is allways some personal.
