I lived in Crossville with my family as a teenager, Jan. 1986 to Sept. 1987. Attended Martin Jr. High. Amazing that that Gondola restaurant is still there. I believe it was there way back then. Just to the left of it there, that used to be a two screen movie theater. My friends and I went there all the time.
I enjoy the videos very much are used to live in Crossville Tennessee my name is Charles Smith we used to play with a country band called the melody mountain boys in the first radio station that was in Crossville we were called the melody mountain boys that is an old radio station the first one would be nice we had some history on it and the bands that played in there I don’t know if there’s any videos would be nice and it was a recreational center there that was real lol they used to rollerskate basketball dancing but there’s no history on that either would be nice if some of this history was covered that was back in the 40s 50s and 60s now they’ve moved it all to something else even the park beside the post office has been changed in to concrete it looks like a go on Google search every once in a while and look at all of the chaos that they have ruined and Crossville in my opinion anyway hope you get some more videos like this and check out the radio station and the history behind it my name is Charles Smith I’m on Facebook my address is 2022 Clifton Ave., Falls City Nebraska 68355 have a good day God bless to all
In Crossville Tennessee a lot of people hang cars from trees for some unknown reason. People in town call them Snuffy Smiths. Just plain weird you would have to be there
Moving here I'm a few days. Excited too come
