Hi Meghan! Welcome to the end of 2022. I am more than ready for it. Haven't been to the post office yet, but hopefully by the end of next week, as I am still ill. Needed a second trip to the doctor so on another round of a stronger antibiotic and for longer. If not better soon, have to get a chest x-ray as pulse ox was at 93% instead of my normal 98%. He thinks it is just an antibiotic resistant form of the original Mycoplasma infection and not pneumonia though. What a way to start the new year. My WIPs are taking a big increase in January as I am starting 6 new projects! Ugh, what am I doing to myself??? LOL I am so happy to remember your progress on some of these WIPs. I had forgotten how far along you were on some of your WIPs. So many wonderful and beautiful projects. Thank you for taking all the time and effort to make this WIP parade. Fantastic stitching year for you and looking forward to following your progress in 2023. Happy 2023!!!!

I don’t know if anyone has shared that yet or not, but you can sew regular fabric around your stitching cloth to make it fit in the qsnap that way you don’t have to stitch in hand
I haven’t heard that before thanks! But it’s more that it worked better on some pieces to stitch in hand

Someday in the future when you visit one of the craft stores that are far from where you live in Norway, would you be willing to do a little extra video where we could see what they look like? I know you've mentioned in past videos that yarn is a big deal but stitching isn't, but I'm sure I can't be the only one interested in knowing what the little bit looks like. A stitchy tour abroad!

What is the fiber content of the Almedahl’s yarn?

@@stitchingmoon So Almedahl’s still exists as a Swedish company, but I couldn’t much find any thread (though I was searching in English). (There is a Texas Almedahl’s too in cotton.) You can do tests to find out fiber content, but I would think your best bet would be to take the thread to ideally an LNS but otherwise a craft store and see a) what is available and b) what their suggestions might be for a substitution.
I like the look of the advent calendar, I might start that this year. Happy new year :)
