The fact that they took time to listen to the fans who WANTED K-Pop covers, took the time and energy to not only learn moves, but also took the time to learn the Korean pronunciation and did the best they could considering Korean is not their first language, should over power whatever 'mistakes' there were in the words.
I for one, never listen to K-Pop because it's not my thing, but I thanks to this video and seeing how many people did love it, I might just start trying.

Well, I just saw this video and read your comment even though it's been years but I'll say it, they didn't learn the movements, it's not the choreography of the originals, I suggest if you haven't seen the MVs of the songs in this video that see them. Its pronunciation may be good since it is a difficult language but the terrible choreography is not one of the originals

Honestly did not expect them to sing in korean but it was a very pleasant surprise. It wasn’t perfect pronunciation but at least they tried (then again, Kpop star’s pronunciation of the English lines isn’t perfect either). And I think these are a great blend of some of the most legendary groups. Yes there’s probably 20 other songs and like 5 other groups I think can go in but then the medley would have to be 10 mins longer. Great job! Hope there’s a part 2 someday!

I speak honestly from a Korean point of view, but I was surprised when I heard the pronunciation of K-pop lyrics on this UA-cam video, which was quite good and accurate as foreigners put on the cover.

Forgo the pronunciation, learning a song in a completely foreign language is hard, and learning many songs, is harder. So give them a break.

Here lemme give you a brief explanation.
Whenever foreigners comment a sentence that is considered wrong in English grammars, English speakers don't give them a chance at all and really want to strike them at the spot they aren't really good at. They would reply back a comment that would say, [Oh??? You can't even write good English gtfo!!!] 👀 smh

I’m a first generation Korean-American who grew up in a time/neighborhood where people didn’t know where Korea was on a map and made fun of me for the Korean food I ate and music I listened to. I am so grateful to see artists like you who not only embrace K-Pop, but pursue excellence in celebrating it. You didn’t have to sing it in Korean, but you did, and you guys did great 😊

i think the most refreshing thing about this cover is what we're so used to seeing k-pop idols sing american songs in english it's almost normal but we hardly ever see americans sing k-pop songs in korean (as opposed to writing english versions). it's so, so absolutely lovely that they tried their hardest to sing in a different language!! show your appreciation of k-pop in its native language!

I've seen most people just upset that they didn't get the RELEASE DATES right. They were three years off for ring ding dong, and that's a big time jump for kpop. Anyone mentioning pronunciation is really just pointing it out, and either mentioning it was still good or that they can't blame them for messing up a foreign language.

I'm an ARMY but I don't like it when there are people who say they are true fans of K-pop but only think of BTS as the biggest K-pop group, not that it's bad on it's own right, but if a person only knows BTS, but if that person claims they know K-pop right to the core, they can't deny the contribution of the early SM days and also BIG BANG and other groups that came before and also came after BTS, but BTS is dominating the charts right now internationally, no doubt that they're the biggest group so far, but can't deny the mass of other groups too.

Actually I don't think it is because they left out the best songs that had a legendary influence on future Kpop. Like most of thee song were amazing choices but some weren't that big and did nothing for kpop so how is it kpop evolution.
@@jik4382 It's more like if you only like BTS, then you're not really a Kpopper but just an Army. A Kpopper is a term that should be reserved for people who like Korean pop music in general and not just someone who stans 1 group out of hundreds and never listens to anything else.

I agree with you~ Except few parts, I also got everything they said. Yeah, it is clear that they are foreigners through their accent but I heard much worse accent here in Korea so I think they did a pretty decent job with it.

I love it 100 percent! The audio is great, the pronunciation is actually so good I couldn't really tell that they aren't natives if I had closed my eyes. And the smooth transitions from song to song made me feel as if this whole "revolution of kpop" can be a single song. Enjoyed every moment of this!
