Came here from a Tiktok and I have to say, I pity the people who think you have to be in a romantic/sexual relationship to reach these depths of a soul because I don't believe they have ever had this. I met my best friend when we were 5. Nearly 30 years later and I would move mountains for that woman. I would wrangle the planets if that's what she needed me to do. There is nothing that I would not do for her because she gets me on this level. We have had our disagreements, we have had our slow seasons but at the end of the day, I know if I needed anything, she would be on my doorstep as fast as humanly possible to help me figure out how to get it. I love my partner to the end of the stars and I will be forever grateful for this journey we're on together, our relationship is magical beyond what I believed possible, but this kind of friendship is just different. There's nothing sexual about it, it's indescribable. Something I've not felt with any of my blood siblings. It truly felt like we must've lived a hundred lives together because we just get one another down to the essence of our being and there isn't a single part that we don't love, because it has all culminated to make us who we are.

This was so beautiful. I'll be honest, I didn't think there were people out there that had such a profound relationship like me and my best friend. It was almost weird seeing other people be as vulnerable, loving, and outspoken as they were, because that's what me and my best friend do. It was almost like looking into a mirror. They have their own experiences that differ from me and my best friend but the unconditional love and understanding is the same. Soul mates really do exist.

I love my partner to the end of the stars and I will be forever grateful for this journey we're on together, our relationship is magical beyond what I believed possible, but this kind of friendship is just different. There's nothing sexual about it, it's indescribable. Something I've not felt with any of my blood siblings. It truly felt like we must've lived a hundred lives together because we just get one another down to the essence of our being and there isn't a single part that we don't love, because it has all culminated to make us who we are.

My truest friend is my longest friend which just so happened to be an online friend that later just became a long distance friend. She’s my sister sign and she balances me out. My best friend for life and I’m so lucky we found each other. The universe gifted her to me for I don’t know how long but I’m so happy she’s here and we can watch each other grow. This was so beautiful. I'll be honest, I didn't think there were people out there that had such a profound relationship like me and my best friend. It was almost weird seeing other people be as vulnerable, loving, and outspoken as they were, because that's what me and my best friend do. It was almost like looking into a mirror. They have their own experiences that differ from me and my best friend but the unconditional love and understanding is the same. Soul mates really do exist.

Fuck. This was really beautiful. Being a black man, who just recently had to move back home to an environment that was abusive, it kind of hurts. Like it was beautiful to see, but it really is hitting me how much of a support system I don’t have. I’m not even sure how to find something like this anymore. I’m glad they shared this part of themselves. It’s good to remember relationships like this exist.
