    I would just like to add, that although Cesar does a thorough and easy to follow tutorial on cleaning your clippers, as a barber of 24years, I have to add that it is important to add a thin layer of actual clipper oil at the points the blades make contact. Products like this and cool care are fantastic for disinfecting, cleaning and preventing rust on blades, but they only contain very little actual lubrication at best. And literally none if wiped off. I cannot stress how important it is to add oil at the last stage to get the very best out of your clipper blades life.

    If you do not have cool care at home, what mixture can I make at home?

    • @iamcesarq
      @iamcesarq  6 років тому

      Surprena Fowler honestly there’s 3 ways of disinfection, sanitation, disinfection and sterilization. You can clean em with the lowest form warm soapy water and always remember to lube it afterwards. Or you can spray with disinfectant and lube afterwards.

    How often should you clean your clippers like this? every night, one a week?

    • @iamcesarq
      @iamcesarq  7 років тому +1

      Depends if you cut a lot of clients then I'd say once every 2-3 weeks. If not that many clients then monthly. You can just use the spray cool care on your clippers. Just brush off the hair beforehand.

    • @zorainanunn2854
      @zorainanunn2854 7 років тому +1

      Cool thanks, I never have opened the case of my clippers I do always use cool care tho. They don't really teach this in school when I went for some reason, but I am a Cosmo, not a barber. I do cut a lot of hair so I will now be cleaning my clippers the right way. Thanks 😊

    you should do a video cutting hair and what does it mean when it leaves dark spots

    • @iamcesarq
      @iamcesarq  7 років тому +1

      +Christopher Diaz usually dark spots are where there are bumps or rolls on their head. You got to hit that spot with a guard down so it blends with the rest

    I spray the cool care directly into the blade and through the sides where gap is between the blade and cutting teeth and turn on the clipper... watch it go to work. Works everytime
    My advice also would be that when you do spray the cool care in there, DONT tilt the clipper to where the liquid will drip back inside the unit.

      Romans116 those are great recommendations, I will have to do an update video real soon and what I’ve learned over the past year. Thank you sir 🙏🏼💈

    Bro why does the black plastic part that holds my cutting blade always pops off whenever I unscrew the blades? I can't figure out how to keep it in place. The two forks of the spring sticking out seems to keep pushing it out.

    • @iamcesarq
      @iamcesarq  2 роки тому

      You need to hold the cam follower down because if you don’t it’ll fly off. Also, if you’re placing it back on make sure you hear a click noise that’s when you’ll know if it’s on right and still hold it down while putting the blade back on so it doesn’t fly off again

  • @Durooh

    • @iamcesarq
      @iamcesarq  7 років тому

      thats weird, did you apply pressure and hold down the blades while screwing it back on? the screws should hold everything in place. if the brown piece fell off try putting it back on how it goes and everything else normally

  • @christopherdiaz7007
    @christopherdiaz7007 7 років тому +1

    cuz its doesnt cut short

    • @iamcesarq
      @iamcesarq  7 років тому

      Christopher Diaz that means you didn't put the blades back close enough "zero gap" the shorter blade needs to be closer to the top of the bigger blade when the clippers lever is closed. That's when it's the closest to the skin
