Thanks I just bought a used Wahl Magic Clip and I got an awesome deal on it but it needed a lot of cleaning. This was first vid that came up and it was really good the clipper looks like new now. I appreciate it. Gracias carnal.
Shlomo Ivry if they’ve been used a lot i would clean the whole clipper out (including the inside) but between that just clean the blades without unscrewing them off
I just bought this learning how to cut my own hair but I also bought a andis pro li and if I zero gap the andis trimmer do I also zero gap the magic clipper?
I would say since ya jus starting out, Gap the slimlines but leave the Magic Clips as is. Once ya get more experience then you'll know if you even need the Magic Clips gapped or not.. really you jus gap em to help you knock out thAt 1st line.. but my rule of thumb that I heard is ALWAYS knock out the line with the SAME blade you used to make it... oNe
Like phabeon said you might need to zero gap the Magic’s but see how they work when you just gap the slimlines, if the line isn’t getting taken out then you know you need to gap magic clips
You get an A+ for not starting your video with "What's up?" ... The instant I hear that in a video, I bail. If I could make one suggestion for your next video, however, you might want to eliminate the typical "rookie error" of moving things around too much and too quickly. As the "shooter", we are familiar with what we are viewing but new viewers are not. When you move an item into view, give it a few seconds for the viewer to actually focus on what you are showing. So many times in your video, I wanted to look at the item you had in your hand... but it was gone before I could focus my eyes on it. Just slow down a bit and your videos will be much better and easy to follow. Keep up the good work... and thank you for the information.
Guys just go to Walmart and grab the cordless lithium ion pro it have the same motor with a better battery and all the color guards and a trimmer and the presicion taper blade for almost half the price!!! And you can cero gap it if you change the screws
Those cheaper clippers do not cut as good as the Wahl or Andis pro lines...I have used the one you speak of and while it may be a good "budget" clipper, it does not cut through hair as fast and with the precision of the pro lines. Now, if you replaced the blades on it and zero-gapped them, that clipper could be as good as the model you speak of. Me personally, I just rather spend a lil more cash and get a heavy duty precise clipper from the beginning. Just MY opinion though. Peace!
@@edo-j1784 what he trying to say, or what I have heard is this.. That Lithium Ion unit is the exact same one as the Magic Clips cordless, has the same motor in it. Manufacturers sometimes do that to save production costs, they make one motor or engine, and then slap different bodies/covers on em and sell one cheaper than the other one. Production wise they make same amount of units but now sell as 2 different models. Anyways what dude is saying is that you can get the Magic Clip cordless for $55 if you buy it at Walmart sold as the Lithium Ion unit. Ya smell me? I don't know if it's true but have heard that from a few barbers now.. only way to know is buy em both and take em apart.. oNe
Can you show or demo how to put back the spring inside were the blade is?

No problem thanks for watching !
why do my magic clips cutting blade always stop on a different side each time? like left or right sometimes
Thank you! You made the process 100x easier🤝 Respect
Thanks bro. Great work!
Hi bro, just recently bought some Wahl magics but it doesn’t have the “magic cordless” sign on do u know why ?
Mine say magic cordless hut the gold-ish print is removable when scraped off. Just giving my insight based on my experience
How often do you have to do this for self haircutting
I would say every couple haircuts depends on how much you cut your hair
@@karlosblends does it make a difference if i clean the inside of i can just clean the blade without worrying about the hair damaging it?

@@karlosblends thanks a lot man
what do you mean with leave little bit of space ?
Watched 4 other videos before I found this one. Nobody else covered the part that pops out under the blades, I was freaking out that I broke it. 🤣
Thank you so much ma man! Really informative n' Background beat, SLAPS.
Thanks bro it sucks cause I couldn’t get the video monetized cause of the beat 😏
@@karlosblends hah, yeah... hope u can next time! Great to see viewer interactivity 😁.

Phabeon Dominguez the magic clips I feel definitely need gapping especially if you use a shaver.
What is zero gap?
do you have to disassemble to zero gap or can you just loosen the screws & do it?
TheRoyalFreshness69 if not “deep cleaning” then you can just unscrew a bit then zero gap 👍🏽
right on thanks dude @@karlosblends
Guys which is best fr self usage
Magic wahl plastic vs magic wahl metal?..... Anyone...
sivagangai Sabari suppiah what do you mean exactly if you mean the guard I would get the Wahl premium guards with the metal clip

Herr Unsinn thanks for the input brotha
In wahl magic clipper, some taper levels are in brown color and some others are black. Do you know why?
mustafa selçuk just depends on what model they are doesn’t change anything powerwise or internals
My magic clip gives a loud sound sound after cleaning
u found a salution?
help..very big noise on blade....
Mine too and I cant fix it
The little blade doesn’t seem too click in & when I put everything back together it leaves a gap. Help ?
I don’t think it clicks in once you put the blade on & tighten it it should come together but I know the plastic piece can break might need a new one
Bro.... TURN THE MUSIC DOWN.
Geeezzz man.
But also, thanks for showing us how to do the damn thang.
Dude... Please turn down the damn music. I barely can hear what you're saying.
Why is the video upside down?
Sorry the camera angle at first was
How often do you have to do this?
Dan Rawkins everytime you clean them out
I think he meant how often do you clean your clippers out, daily, weekly, or monthly? I think it would be a hassle to do it daily though.
If that’s the case I work in a shop so I clean them like this weekly
💯
OMG 😱

You forgot to put oil in
I forgot to include it brother but yes oil before each use
Do NOT use andis cool care. That'll rust your blades real quick.
Daniel Arredondo used to be all andis but now I just have their slimline pro li trimmers, too many let downs over the years... too too many.
Haven’t had any problems with it I actually had problems with clippercide but you also have to oil your blades
ye it rusted mine😔
