Something I recommend for anyone doing a big guns only playthrough is to go to the usaf station olivia, and when you find Ack-Ack, the raider who carries a minigun, kill him and NO ONE ELSE. Wait for the other raiders to pick up the minigun, and kill them one by one as they do so. Doing this causes them to carry 5mm ammo when they die, up to 500 rounds if you kill them before they're able to fire. You can easily begin the game with over 4000 5mm rounds this way if you're careful to not got shredded.

The Skyrim music made me stop laughing and start crying because it's gotten to the point that I can't play Skyrim without getting insanely bored since I've done every quest and ever worthwhile quest mod. But I still love my Skrim.
If you talk to Wolfgang and tell him you’ll talk to Trudy you can make a decent amount of caps and have him as a chem dealer. That keeps both dealers alive and can be helpful during the early game.
Having another dealer you can sell 330+ caps to on the reg and buy chems from closer than going to the city seems better than 250 right then. On survival I end up using him a ton for my early game. Besides making money in this game is easy as fuck so 250 is nothing in the long run. I think you can make well over 10k in a few hours of playing, so again, a dealer is better to have around then 250 caps.
This is some real quality content. I actually thought that video game play throughs had become dead and boring until I came across the gold mine that is your channel. The amount of work you put in is mind-blowing to me and I hope you get the recognition you deserve
When you get to the rocket part in the arcjet mission, you can stay inside the power room and let Danse kill the synths. they'll keep respawning and since Danse cant die, you can get up to 1500-2000 fusion cell ammo (if you wait for 10 mins or so) until you turn on the rocket test fire. obv you can wait for an hour or something but it might get laggy with all the dead synths lying around. You are missing out on EXP but if you want a ton of fusion cells to use/sell then this way is good.
Just want to say that the Cryolator from Vault 111 (like 3rd weapon you encounter in the game) is a ridiculous heavy weapon that benefits from both Heavy Gunner AND Demolition Expert. Only drawback early game is ammo is hard to find, but if you spam shelves it doesn't matter because you will level into merchants carrying the ammo. Gun is so good 1 shot kills all basic enemies, and T1 named enemies, 3 shots reavers, and that Behemoth at the end would have died in half the time. You can use Dogmeat to fetch the gun if you take him to it (or Cait can pick the lock). That "feature" (Dogmeat getting the gun) has not been patched out either; I did it not 3 days ago.

I never like HW's in FO4, they've always underwhelmed and underperformed when I used them. Then again I never tried the gatling laser, I didn't like the idea of burning through fusion cores for a weapon that fast.
During Nuka-Cola World, there's a encounter you can get during the arena quests that will drop you a Gatling Laser that's bugged. It is supposed to not have to reload but instead you just have infinite ammo.
