Thank you so much for this deep dive into Japanese graphic design. I find it fascinating to see the designs presented alongside one another and get a real sense of the character of Japanese designers especially the playfulness, energy and confidence to take risks which presents a newness in the fashion industry and welcome distraction from the traditional European fashion houses highlighting the incredible contribution and influence made! 🙌
love the love for mastermind here. Do you guys plan on doing any interview type content? I think you can make something way more unique than most of the current "japanese street interviewers" on tiktok, maybe access knowledge from local americana and vintage store owners or interview some designers out there? With the depth of info you guys provide I think even regular street interviews with the average stylish person would be way more fruitful and interesting than those from other content creators
Keep dropping these fire videos fam, I hate when you take too long of a hiatus. I'm curious, Anime fashion seemed caught on like wildfire in the west, how is it over there?
(Me wearing Cav Empt) Person: Love the shirt! Uh, you mind if I ask wtf it is? Me: Don't really know, but it's Sk8Thing, he drew the ape head. And the astronaut boy. Person: ohhhhhh, ok, cool, I know them.
Never ever used the term “urban wear” I prefer “street fashion”. The use of “streetwear” is for algorithmic purpose only. Since “street fashion” has different connotations to different fashion communities
Respectfully, cross colors, FuBu, Karl Kani, Even Guess, bape inspiration from you can see it in a lot of their designs. I’m old enough to remember these brands so they did not inspire the big logo or logo being popularized in fashion, especially streetwear.
Noticed The Casual logo was missing in this list. 🤔😏😉
Too humble❤
The Bapesta logo specifically is my favorite. Such an iconic logo
Great video. Greetings from Poland. Keep up the good work!

Bape (Nigo) was a huge inspiration to why I'm clothing now 🙌🏿
What is the necklace you are wearing?
VO in Squarespace ad is super quiet. Fine in rest of vid though!
Not a fashion logo per se, but Shinsuke Takizawa's Major Force logo should be up there in the list 😜
It nearly made the cut but because it was more of a music graphic than fashion we had to cut it. But major props for bringing it up.
Would love a video about Murakami
Coming up
