the chain sag should be 36 to 41 mm !
Why do you have rear wheel in the air?I thought there was supposed to be a moto on the side stand, as manual said.
Actually, the service manual states you can do it either way.
In metric tools there is nothing in between 24mm, 27mm, 30 and 32 to avoid damage due to tolerances. Just for your information. ;)
Cool. Thx for that info
Great video clip, I’m waiting on my 23 SP to be here any day. In your opinion did I make a good choice??
I own an SP, so heck, yes, you did! 😆 🤣
@@YantoSP I had an idea you would say that!😂👍
Preaching to the choir, lol
@kyled4156 I have a 2021 MT09SP and I've been vitally impressed with it so I'd imagine you have quite the dancing partner on your hands there with the 2023 so congratulations on the acquisition. (I'm assuming you've taken delivery by now.)
Hey great video thanks that’s really help me I have a question where did you buy the the spray big orange from the brand zep pls ?
What spray?
Great video. This is your stock chain? The first one? How many km/miles did you cover before you had to adjust it for the first time? :)
In this video, it was the stock chain. I think I was between 10-15k miles when this adjustment was done. I have a new chain and new sprockets now.
@@YantoSP Aha, OK. How long did it last, the stock one?
@@RRRRefuelRideRace 20k miles
@@YantoSP This is quite a lot. :) I hope that mine on the Tracer 9 will last the same. :)
@@RRRRefuelRideRace It will with proper maintenance
How exact precise on both sides do I need to tight equally I'm afraid I'll be off by half a turn and my wheel will go airborne
As long as your plate is lined up with the lines on the swingarm, on both sides, that should be good and straight.
Are we sure that's a Husky 1/4" drive torque wrench? Looks like 1/2".
You're right, it's a 1/2". Thanks for pointing that out.
Shouldn't it be put on a side stand and set like that?
Which part are you referring too?
The web tension should not be set on the side stand, that's what I meant. In the manual, it says, but everyone does it differently.
@norbertkiraly7571 ah, I see. Yea....so far, it's been fine. But thanks for the information. I appreciate that.
Too much music
Noted!
Thank god you don't have a Ducati. You would have needed to take it to a dealership to have that done.
😆 Andy is gonna have that issue if he goes Ducky.
Not true lol my manual says “have it done by Ducati”… and then proceeds to tell you how to do it 😂
