MT09SP 2021 - can do very fun wheelie LF1. I am pretty sure 2024 can do the same. 1 foot. You can do awesome wheelies in that mod - and you came nowhere near that limit point ) I think Yamaha lift control is one of the best - it's not limiting you, it allows you to do the wheelis but in a much more controllable way than without it.
Fun fact: if you get the akrapovic race line exhaust. You’re engine light will come up. And lift control doesn’t work anymore 🤣 currently on my second 2024 mt09
I’ve the 2024 SFV4s grey Nero . Messing about I can leave her in 3 to 4 of 8. Keeps her from flipping but allows wheel up. 8 is where i keep her if I want to pull hard/ accelerate fast. Launch control uses wheelie control at or near max, makes sense really, a wheelie is just wasted energy that could be ised driving forward. I’ve not turned it off as it’s a beast and I’d flip it. On 1 she just wants to drive up, it’s scary. I’d never leave it low if overtaking, huge risk of losing control .
I am a new rider and my Yamaha MT 09 2024 is in rain mode and everything is on the highest setting and the bike still gets off the ground in a controlled manner and I love it 😁👍👍👍
You have to do this again, you kept getting scared and backing out after the initial lift. Go on a longer road and Open the throttle fully to show how it actually stops it 😂
@@Kiran-zn7xcthe sp isn't worth it I just got the base model the 2k extra isn't worth it cuz for 1 the shiny swing arm is ugly af the suspension is useless for 90% of riders and lastly the only nice thing issl keyless start but thats not worth the extra money
When i use the lift control on mode 1 it stops the bike from flipping and makes wheelies very easy. Scary in the start but you get used to it. Now i just need to get the balls to remove it and do propper wheeles :S
I feel like you being inconsistent with the throttle affected how each mode worked..you need to use the same amount of throttle each time and let the bike control how it responds..

@@MrMoto948it's a hooligan bike not a race bike if u want something faster but still upright get like a 09 Fz1 more sporty longer gears old school R1 engine and decent top speed I own both a fz1 and mt09 love both for different reasons the fz1 for example has a ton of ass but WILL NOT get the front wheel up no matter how hard to pin it which is great for racing . I think its due to the wheel base
If original product, they should be Rizoma stealth, but there are also a lot of aftermarket options. Maybe quality wise they don’t match but… price is ok
Can I ask why you're not dumping the clutch in?? This is just trying to power wheelie.. nice explanation on the settings... dump the clutch in bro, and throttle, and most importantly cover the back brake bro 👻🫡
You don't need to clutch it at first gear. Giving enough throttle will get you an awesome fast wheelie on 1st- there's a lot of torque. On 2nd - clutch helps yep.
I was in the same situation until about two weeks ago. Put a deposit down on 4JAN and they kept telling "maybe next month" I called another dealer the third week of July and they had one sitting on the showroom floor. Just call around and maybe take a bit of a drive.

Like your content. It should be true to everything even the mode 3 in order to test it we should give it the full throttle like you did to test it.

If it's like th 21 sp my buddy has in lc 1 you can absolutely crack open the throttle and it'll hold a nice angle from first to second
I myself have a '14 mt09 with no tc or abs so I'm pretty confident to yank the throttle of something with lift control

Pretty sure reducing traction control allows wheelies, Lift control regulates how high you wheelie

When I rode my buddy's bike, I noticed the bike really doesn't like clutch up wheelies AT ALL even with ALL the settings turned off/ lowest mode.
Clutches up as easy as my 2017 MT. Supports off, mode 2

If you leave the supports on yeah it's a lot harder. But if you turn them all off then it's the same as any other MT-09

It doesn't default it just goes to what mode ur in including tje custom modes so like if 1 of ur custom modes is all baby mode aka 4 then it'd go to 4
