- Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy Lotion gets my thumbs up for being hypoallergenic, FRAGRANCE FREE, and great for sensitive redness prone skin.

There are minimal ingredients but enough to keep your skin moisturized. The texture is non greasy and absorbs well into your skin. Moisture stays locked and helps maintain a healthy skin lipid barrier.
Overall I rate this 4/5 stars. There isn't much anti aging ingredients except for the ceramide but that's okay because sensitive skin can react to a wide variety of ingredients. The minimal ingredients lists, helps ensure your skin stays moisturized, with a low risk for skin reactions. Highly recommended despite having no SPF. (You may want to layer your skin with some sunscreen if you burn easily.)
Physiogel appears to be a Singapore Brand but I am not 100% sure. I bought mine at a discounted rate at the UBI Beauty online market. UBI Beauty is a Korean Online Wholesale store.
Update 10/10/17: I realized Steifel Solutions is the same company that makes PanOxyl a benzoyl peroxide face wash that's popular in the U.S. So maybe Steifel is not a Singapore brand. Nonetheless I found it really hard to find in U.S. Markets. Best to buy it on Amazon, eBay and I heard Walmart might sell them too.

Hi Linda, seems like a good product for people with blemishes and skin conditions, but everyone is different and can be affected in different ways. I can't use any products with perfume, or aluminium in it as I get rashes and my skin bubbles up. I don't use any lotions on my face, just a cleansing soup and I stick to one brand foundation and broker. Good to know what is out there tough

Thats a good question. I am not sure if physiogel sells moisturizers for oily skin. I just know they are great for sensitive and normal to dry skin. Sorry I cant be of any more help
Indian pharmaceutical brand Venusia Intensive moisturizing lotion has great formulation but it has perfume. I don't understand why formulators destroy their hardwork by adding perfume. Then I suddenly ran into Physiogel. I'm quite hopeful it will work out for my mom who is getting dry skin due to age.
I feel the same way! There is so many great moisturizers in the Korean market for an example but everything has perfume. I have heard people say the addition of fragrance is sometimes used to mask chemical smells but I have tried many fragrance free lotions that smell just fine. Hope Physiogel works for you

Faiza Amjad hi there! Thanks for the lovely comment. This moisturizer is good for all skin types but more suited for dry sensitive skin. It is moisturizing without the oily feel. Physiogel claims to have moisturizers that mimic the skin's natural moisture so it feels like normal skin. Hope this helps! 👍❤️

I would probably get this for my S.O. But not me O_O I have super oily skin, soooo oily that if I use moisturizing lotions my makup will melt off! I'll shine so bright I'll probably make people crash from the glare my face will produce xD lol... Joke aside, I this might be something my S.O. would like, he like lotions to be fragrance free and super moisturizing, always good to hear about other alternatives :) Thanks for the review!!!!
llllSuperGurllll lol I don't know how true this is. But the skincare community on UA-cam seems to agree that even oily skin needs moisturizing. My boyfriend has oily skin. He can take a napkin and you'll see oil splotches on it. He likes Cerave because it doesn't leave an oily film. I actually have extremely dry skin so I layer this Physiogel with serum. I think alone i'd still feel dry. So I think it's good for all skin types but the price is kinda high. Cerave is similar and is cheaper. But yeah I was generous with the stars because anything with zero scent is like manna from heaven for me! ✨👍

cHoGiWa it won’t remove scarring or prevent fungal infections. For fungal infections Miconazole cream (over the counter) is often used. Physiogel is just a regular basic moisturizing lotion that does not have irritants. So it won’t make your skin worse but if you have a fungal infection. You should get that checked out with a doctor

Hi. I have an oily & senisitve skin but I am also currently using a retinoid which is very drying. Do you think it would be good to use this Physiogel as facial moisturizer?
Hi! Yes I believe the physiogel lotion is perfect for those who use retinoids. I find retinoids can irritate my skin and this is a perfect moisturizer for those prone to redness. Hope that helps

Hi! Yes :) This is a GREAT moisturizer for people with rosacea because it has minimal ingredients and is moisturizing. I have rosacea too, so i use this to prevent irritation.

Marrium Tariq that’s a good question. I am not sure if there is a difference but normally body lotions can be thicker and less absorbent than facial creams. I would need to do a side by side comparison of ingredients to be sure. But I believe I bought the body lotion one and it felt similar to the facial one. If you have dry skin it shouldn’t be a problem but if you have oily skin, I would steer away since it may just sit on top of the skin

Khadija Butt I use this for face because I have dry skin. But it can be used for both body and face. The ingredients are minimal and for sensitive skin so it shouldn’t cause facial irritation

Hi this can be used in the summer if you have dry skin. If you have oily skin I would not recommend it as it is very moisturizing. Can you clarify what you mean by one tune? Do you mean tone? There is no zinc or titanium in this lotion so you will not get a white cast

I have combination skin. T zone oily but very dry cheeks. I probably wouldn’t reccomend it for mostly oily though as it is very moisturizing. I think cerave daily moisturizing lotion is similar but absorbs faster so that is better for all skin types. This physiogel cream is better for dry, normal and combination

This is great for sensitive skin. But maybe not so much for oily. If you use it, don’t layer it. Oily skin is sometimes caused by using high ph cleansers however. Not sure what you mean. You mean physiogel lotion as a cleanser? Or physiogel cleanser? Physiogel lotion does not have the same formula as a cleanser to effectively clean face. Physiogel cleanser should be fine but I’ve never tried their cleanser

Angel Rose hi, I'm not sure what you mean exactly. But if your talking about black heads, no. This is a moisturizer so it doesn't take out anything. It makes you skin more hydrated and supple. Hope that helps!

Sajjal Choudhry if it burns, do not use it and discontinue. You might have gotten a counterfeit as there are counterfeit physiogel lotions now. Or you could be sensitive to one of the ingredients. Either way, if it burns or becomes red, that’s not normal

That’s a good question. It might be overly moisturizing as I find body lotions thicker but shouldn’t be a problem. Do you the know the ingredients. The three things I try to avoid in face lotions are “fragrance”, “silicones”, “alcohol”... sometimes even coconut oil since that can clog pores even if you have try skin. Hope that helps. I thought cetaphil was a cleanser? Do they have a moisturizer too? My impression was that it reminds me of cerave moisturizing lotion but with the Shea in it, there is more locked in moisture

It’s pretty moisturizing compared to cerave but you might need to combine some skin oils with it if your on the dry side. I often layer moisturizers. I would use jojoba or rosehip oil under it.
