As an old guy, it blows my mind how.much functionality is squeezed into these. My first VOM was about four times the volume of this.
I know what you mean;) It is crazy what they can do these days;)
These kind of tools can really be handy in one’s toolbox or lying in the car for the occasional unexpected use when you are not at home, the same applies to a small USB-powered soldering iron. Really amazing that they use the standard probes for the oscilloscope too. In the workshop, not so much of a role if you have a bench oscilloscope. I think it will be a fantastic piece of kit for somebody just starting out with electronics or a school-kid.

Thank you for an interesting review. GOCHIFIX also sells a dual-channel storage scope with similar specs. The display appears the same, but there are no mechanical controls. When I opened it up and saw its SMD fuses, I got a bit concerned about replacements. Then you mentioned they could be resettable - interesting for sure. Requesting the next time you're working with this/your meter, if you will please verify if the fuses are resettable? (Thanks in advance - Niceville, Florida.)

I noticed a couple of blank pads on the PCB up by the feature blank that you pointed out. Maybe a future scope probe or data transfer feature?

I find it hard to believe that diode mode doesn't beep. Did you later find an option to enable the audible tone? Nice meter otherwise.
I’ll have to check. I’d say most meters I see now don’t beep. I think a lot of people complained about it. It can be annoying for others. I think it should be an option. It is on some.
I agree, all continuity check mode should beep as I'm usually looking at a bunch of wires and quickly moving through it. As for diode mode, I'm less sure. I'm checking one device at a time and can afford to look at the meter. An option would be nice.

Great question! They are just different enough - that I think a lot of it is personal likes/dislikes. But, I think this one that comes with 2 scope probes for 2 channels is hard to beat at $99.99: amzn.to/4bmW8S1
I bet REST in peak hold mode is short for reset of the peak values recorded so far.
