In case people haven't noticed, the price of this unit currently is $289. They had 37 new ones when I went to their site. They now have 36. :-) This video helped in the decision as all I needed was a cheap one. The Heathkit one is just a bit old but it is a true scope. Will inform if mine, when it gets here, matches yours or the manual.
Purchased one of these from Amazon, came pre-hacked to 200mhz. I have several analog scopes and this is my first digital scope, it's amazing for a first digital scope. Very happy with mine. The probes actually work up to 200mhz too as you said. Great deal.
Thanks for this review Todd. I'm considering either the DSO5202B (adds more memory) or the MSO5202D (adds more memory + 16-channel logic analyzer). Your informative review has given me and others a lot to consider. I especially appreciate the comparison to a Tektronix product, which is the brand I'm most familiar with.
This is a fine review. It is a real, deep enough, exploration of a scope I am interested in getting (the 70mhz cousin). I have seen another review where the person would not read the manual, and then did not give a balanced review, and even picked out some strange points to focus on. I found you to be very informative, and helpful. Thank you.
Thanks for showing this scope. I also appreciate you being forward about it being a sponsored video and that you allow us the user to decide how many grains of salt we need to add. I think this is the kind of stuff that is starting to lack on UA-cam. We still have people that make videos and try to be objective so there is hope yet. It's a shame what has happened to some big names on UA-cam that turned into nothing more than industry mouthpieces. Then you have the other side of that coin... where if it's not an Agilent.. or Keysight.. whatever they want to be called this year... then it's rubbish. I am glad to see you do not have the attitude that seems to be pervasive in our industry... which is to shun it if it doesn't cost 10k or say Agilent on it. You got this... it works for you and does what you need and to me, that's what counts.. flaws and all. Can you tear it down? I would like to get your take other than from the usual suspects.. which are unfortunately very predictable these days. Thanks again for showing this.
Yeah, the antics of the YT snobbery brigade is getting really tiring and cliched. These cheap Chinese stuff is enabling people to learn EEE stuff infinitely more than any of those smug and self-important jokers do.
Hi Todd, first of all THANK YOU, one of the best reviews I have seen on youtube!!!! This helped me and I decided to order this thing here in Germany (329€). OK I agree it's a bit too much Textronix but shows as well how close this thing is to it. I am pretty keen to see it, waiting for the shipment. Thanks again looking forward to see more from you, Cheers Axel
You really did a great job here. Comparing with Tek and LeCroy was helpful to know where this scope is. You are a great reviewer and for sure I'll follow you. Thank you Todd.
Great tutorial. When I learned that the manual was on the CD I paused the video and copied it to my PC. That by itself was worth the price of admission.
I just got my new Hantek DSO5202P today and looked for a review of it and clicked on this "review". This was less of a review of the Hantek, and more of a comparison between the Tektronix and the Hantek. Good information anyway. Thanks.
Yes there was a lot of comparison in the review. My thinking was what do you get in the DS05202P and how does it compare if you stick with main stream big name products. If it compares then the product does deliver at a much lower cost.
So similar to a Siglent (in the cost range), it's uncanny. I think the Chinese companies are sharing the manufacturing of main components, and nothing really wrong with that. Good value. Very thorough review. Thanks.
Hi Todd! I am about to buy my first scope, your review is very useful, easy to understand. Also, not being a native speaker, pronunciation is important for me as well. No problems in this area either, keep up the good work!
Thanks just got one of these for Christmas. I do a lot of pulse measurements. Just learning the scope. This comes in handy. Mine is 1Ga/a 100Mhz. but it works for me. Nice vid.
Very good review. The video and narration quality is excellent. I have just received the DSO5102P which is 100MHz version but operates the same as the 200MHz version. Regarding the V0 encoder, you said that turning it clockwise you would have expected the selected menu item to scroll up. I'm not aware of any defined standard on this, but for me, scrolling down seems right !
Could you do the bandwidth test, as Todd did, please? I really wonder, if there really is a difference between the 100MHz and the 200MHz versio, they even have the same price...
400Hz is a very common supply frequency for local(small campus) power systems especially mobile systems like Aerospace and Naval. The advantages are much lighter transformers, motors, and alternators for a given power; elimination of gearboxes for high rpm loads; and smaller rectifiers with smoother output. The disadvantages are parasitic impedance over very long transmission lines, and the brushed commutators on some motors last longer with lower frequency (fewer gaps and thus sparks and vibration per revolution) 45 and 440 are to account for normal freq. fluctuation tolerances.
Where in my video is this relevant? Sorry I made this quite a long time ago and I don't remember every point I might have made. Plus my videos are too long to review so help me out if you can. HA!
Thanks Todd, nice easy-going walk round the scope. Agree with you re. panel markings - might be pedantic to some, but if they're going to add legends, they should be consistent. Btw - each time you displayed the Measure menu, I was willing you to close it via the F0 button instead of pressing other Menu buttons, but you didn't! Wanted to see if you get the same undocumented behaviour as on my 5102P. Try it: press Measure, then F0, and you get all 32 measurements in one go... in a bright yellow table! Not much screen left for the waveforms but a nice touch regardless.
Well it looked like a really good review to me Todd at least I could understand what u were talking about well described and very well put together video. Thanks again Todd
Hopefully they will take care of some things with a firmware update. I’m looking forward to mine getting here suspose to be here Friday. Looks like a good addition to my tek 2235.
Before buying this Hantek, check out the Siglent SDS1202X-E. For just about forty dollars more, you get Siglent's super phospor display, 14 Mpts record length, serial bus triggering and decode , and one Mpt FFT. That's a whole lot more for just forty bucks extra.
I winced when you pulled off the protective screen plastic. Nothing wrong with doing that but all my kit, scopes func gen, PSUs etc still have their protectors in place. I do not have any issues looking through it and have no finger print issues.
There are two camps on that subject. The plastic film is for shipping so it doesn't get scratched in packing, unpacking and shipping so it's purpose is 100% served once the customer has the product. The plastic film does effect clarity of the image one can see and the manufacture put extra $ into a nice clean clear screen so it seems strange to leave an obstruction to the extra cost put into the product. The screens are cleanable and don't scratch easy in a lab environment. But like I say there are two camps and I'm in the camp that wants to get all the value from the instrument even if there might be a risk for a scratch.
Got this scope, just ordered yesterday couldn't beat the price, and scopes ability plus 3 year warranty. With discount I got it for well under $300.00, I'd be a fool to not jump at that. Oh and, got a free gift with it, a new multimeter! Woooh hoooo! By the way, this is my first scope. Yes, I can do this! deeper education time with math and experiments now. :-))
It would have been interesting to open it up and make a review of the assembly quality inside, as well as you did with the front panel and physical interface. By the way, nice work, you got my Like. Keep on the good work!
Thanks. I do have a plan to open it up and put in a quiet fan. I have the fan and the plan but never seem to take the time to do the job as it really isn't hat loud compared to my other old gear. Maybe someday :/
I know it's an old video but I think your complaint @23:43 is wrong. Arranging the knobs/labels like that means you turn both in the same direction to achieve the same thing. Turn to the left on either and they both decrease volts per division. Turn right and it's an increase. Labelling looking the same isn't functional - it's form. I'd rather it was as it is, functionally the same for the same action.
I considered buying one of the Hantek scopes but what turned me off from any consideration of them is I had read so many reviews of their scopes having software issues and needing to be rebooted often. So I ended up spending a little more and bought a Siglent Technologies SDS1202X-E. I never read any bad reviews on it and it had much nicer features and a beautiful high definition screen.
Nice video. Just bought a second hand Rigol 50 Hz in Australia but happy with purchase as nervous about any support for Hantek repairs here. Otherwise wish i had one based on this overview.
Thanks for the great video! I just purchased this scope (My first scope) and it will be here tomorrow. Being new to using the oscilloscope do you have any more UA-cams on usage or further recommendations ? Again thanks for a most informative video!
If you're only a few years into electronics just about everything under my blog page: www.toddfun.com/category/beginners/ will be very helpful. Some scope videos are linked under "General Knowledge" header. Some of the links maybe broken or dated a bit as this page was setup long ago. If you let me know what links are problematic I can look up newer sources or remove.
Wonderful vídeo, thanks you. I have model DSO5072p right now. I bought only measure & set gains of my car audio. Yes, I now, too much equipment but...I like it. You know, "set gain like a pro". Regards from Chile
What is the standard price of these instruments? People keep saying 200-400 bucks is low end price, so what's in the middle and what's high end for oscilloscopes?
This is what is in the help file for the latests download for this scope software from Hantek website: If you need to install and run the Scope software, the minimum PC configuration is : Microsoft Windows 2000/ XP /Vista /7 32bits and 64bits 256MB RAM or higher CD-ROM or DVD Super VGA or higher 10 MB hard disk
Thanks for the quick reply Todd. Yep, I was aware of the minimum requirements. My problem is that all descriptions of Windows requirements I can find, only list Windows versions UPTO Windows 7. I am trying to find out whether the scope software will run on Windows 8.1 . Other Hantek products seem to have a problem with anything above Windows 7 so I was trying to establish whether this device has the same restriction. Not, in itself a reason for not buying but a disappointment if the 5202 cannot communicate with Windows 8.1
I couldn't say. I don't have any windows 8.1 and if I did I would update to windows 10 anyway. From reading their forums it seem you can right click the driver and update it to a windows 8 driver but not much detail on how to get the new driver in the forums. You could contact Hantek and ask. www.hantek.com/en/
Hey Todd, nice vid. Now, 2 years later, how is the scope holding up and how noisy is it (compared to a laptop fan)? Would you still recommend a (cheap) Hantek scope? Thanks!
I had to replace the fan with a much quieter fan. It is still my main scope. It has high frequency issues so not too good over 100 MHz. Still recommend it for the price for a home gamer.
+Popart 2015 Yes, I would much rather have deeper memory so I don't have to get out a logic analyzer for simple trouble shooting task where deeper memory could help me quickly figure out a problem. That said, with many such problems you want a logic analyzer for the decode as most cheap scopes even with deep memory will not do the digital logic decoding and even the nice scopes that do make you pay extra for the feature to be enabled.
Best thing I like about these Hantek is a 70 MHz scope is the same as a 200 MHz use a uart and get free bandwidth upgrade. My 100mhz came factory hacked to 200mhz. I just had to buy probes capable of 200 MHz.
everything works perfectly. only that when i try to save the s/r wavefront or setup i cant get to save the file. when i press save to usb button, it messages wavefront saved success but there is nothing in usb. the disc icon is lighted blue when it says that it detected. i heard. some oscolliscope dont support higher pen drives above 2 gb, so i am hoping thats the case
you could get the Hantek DSO5072P 60MHz scope for $240 and hack it to get 200MHz for 100 bucks cheaper. But it requires some fiddling around with an usb uart adapter, soldering some wires into the serial bus onto the DSO and removing 2 capacitors.
It's amazing that CS has these for $329 when similar models at Frys are so much more! Actually I just checked and they are now just $299! They had an 18% off sale and free shipping so I got one for $262! Mine seems to have a lot of noise on the trace though. Has anyone else had that problem?
Excelent Review, do you can do the computer software review? I read in the specifications that have real time analisys, i want to know if is capable or doing data decoding in software. Thanks you very mutch.
Hi Todd, i enjoyed your Hantek 200 Mhz scope review. I've just bought the 100 Mhz version. I put the cd into my laptop, hoping to get the manual, but all i got was a grating ( crosshatch ) on the screen, but no manual. I wonder if you could shed some light on this, or am i doing something wrong with the cd? I have to tell you that i am 67 years old and just recently have become interested in electronics, so i am very much a beginner. Thanks in advance for any help and i enjoy your video clips. Best regards, Oz
Hi what is your opinion on just 40K memery depth of DSO5202P and DSO5202P vs Siglent SDS1202X-E which one is good pick. Siglent SDS1202X-E having 14mpts memory depth.
Is it possible to compare differences of work and picture, measurements results, between 100MHz and 200MHz oscilloscope ?? What is a difference between for example Hantek and Owon, with the same specs ? I try to select a new oscilloscope to buy ......... thx
Just noticed your Tek 2465 is not sitting on its feet? These scopes use ~Hybrids that run very hot. They are on the lower board and have velts by them in the case. If they are the same as my 2440, you might find they will over head and die. Cheers
Good review - best one on UA-cam so far. It could be shortened, but at least you didn't waste over three minutes complaining about non-existent issues with the appearance of the scope like some other idiot reviewer did. I want to know about features and performance - and you provided a lot of useful information. Thanks.
I would"ve left the plastic screen protector on instead of peeling it off. I've left my on just to keep the screen scratch free but, it's just my personal preference and opinion
I just bought the Hantek DSO5102 and I can't get the driver to work for PC interfacing. Seems the Certificate Verification from China is not good to use the driver or Firmware! Any work around that you know of?
"if you want a 200mhz scope" "if you need a 200 mhz scope" These are entry level, low price point - we're coming to these videos because we DON'T know what we need! Help me understand if I need a 200 mhz scope or if 70 mhz would be good enough for me. And same with memory depth, etc.
In the setup utility of the scope there should be an option to format the USB. Try that first. If that doesn't work I would be surprised but will try to help more.
i have bought one. but the power cord came with it doesn't have the third ground prong.what about yours. is it ok to work with it. whats your suggestion... pls reply...
Hi thanks for the video. Maybe you can help me. I wonder if those type of scopes within hantek brand could feature any hability to make automatique measurements over the USB port like gpib standard communication. That would be very handy at this price point! Any idea? Thanks
This unit has 40K Memory. How much memory would your rather see? I was thinking about getting one for automotive use becuse the very popular Pico Scope for lap top that mechanics use is like the price of a nice car.
Transguy I would like the DSO5102BM with 2mb of memory. For automotive you should look into handheld scopes. You don't need a lot of bandwidth or memory for automotive work unless you're doing direct data sniffing on the CAN bus or something like that. 50Mhz handheld should be fine.

Ok Todd, thanks for the advice man, that helps a lot. I don't know a lot about scopes other than they flat out rock on finding misfires that haven't set trouble codes, check engine lights or can't be pin pointed with a scan tool. Some coils are impossible to pull out with engine running to do the cylinder drop test because you have to take the intake off to get the coils out, I have one like that right now, its a Ford 500. This Hantec DSO5202P is really nice for the price. Too nice for a garage really but I'd be the only one using it and would take extra care with it if I bought one. I'd keep it in the house and only take it to the garage when I need it. I won't buy a single channel though if I'm going to get one. I need 2 channels. One to set an amp clamp on the ignition circuit which draws a pattern for each spark on all cylinders and a 2nd channel to tap the #1 coil so I can actually locate the misfire when I see it on the screen. That way I'd see #1 firing at the beginning of each firing sequence and can easily spot if #3 is the guy that's malfunctioning. I've seen folks move a single channel U-Scopes from one coil to the next until they find the bad coil but some coils impossible to reach.
....... Are you playing 'Spot the difference' ? (Two Mystery Vans now) ..... Did you see the news the other day, cops chased lady in a mock mystery van. (Funny). P.S. Enjoying your productions, well done Mate.
Hi Todd, Ive recently purchased a Hantek 4202C DSO. Probe calibration is the same as of the 5202P. Problem is after i follow the instructions the 5V 1 khz square waveform never appears correctly at all after auto adjust and calibration, and is serously distorted. I tried to adjust the probe adjuster potmeter on the probe but nothing good happened. What can be the problem?
did you try both probs? You might have a bad compensation cap in one prob. Have you tried downloading and updating the firmware from the company website?
well as a beginner with scopes i didnt know that i should attach the probe tip to the calibration point too, not only the grounding clips, so closing the circuit. thats how the waveform was (nearly) correct.
Hello, Your video is very interesting, unfortunately my English is very poor and I have a lot of trouble following the explanations. Can you install the automatic subtitles that would be a great help. Thank you very much for your work and good continuation.
+Popart 2015 I"m not sure. Maybe they will see my review and correct the software. I have not seem them want to correct the software yet so don't hold your breath. Plus, some have argued it makes more scene to them the way it work so maybe we are just strange minded?
Haha, I was curious about your comment so I jumped straight to that part of the review. As a software developer I initially thought it made sense because it's clearly going further through the list, but it's also going down the screen! :D
Function Save to USB does not work on mine. I tried 3 different flash drives, tried formatting to ntfs and fat32. Same thing. Anyone having this issue?
I do not. Have you tried formatting it using the scope format option? I think there is such an option in the menus? I would have to look again but I know my other scopes have a format option.

Thanks for your time in making this video. Your sponsor has this model on sale and after watching your review I have ordered one. :)
Thanks for the support!
Thanks for posting this video.. I just bought this oscilloscope, and im a total newbie, this explained alot of things i was having problems with!

It works the same as the Tek and I do have a video on using that feature if you care to watch.

Yes, this is true and the Siglent is a great scope for a bit more money too. Y'll love it.
Great video! Thanks for the detailed explanation of testing the analog frontend.
If you're only a few years into electronics just about everything under my blog page: www.toddfun.com/category/beginners/
will be very helpful. Some scope videos are linked under "General Knowledge" header.
Some of the links maybe broken or dated a bit as this page was setup long ago. If you let me know what links are problematic I can look up newer sources or remove.
you please telme your experience. Thi ocsiloscop is Better yes/ no .
I have to shoot new. Please telme sir (am from India.)
Wonderful vídeo, thanks you. I have model DSO5072p right now. I bought only measure & set gains of my car audio. Yes, I now, too much equipment but...I like it. You know, "set gain like a pro". Regards from Chile
Glad you liked. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for getting back to me Todd. have you tried the new firmware up date .
Yes, It did help a lot. I still use this as my main scope just because it is easier to use and has the memory feature.
Nice scope for a very good price. Thank you for your nice introduction!
That's the Oscilloscope that I have!
What is the standard price of these instruments? People keep saying 200-400 bucks is low end price, so what's in the middle and what's high end for oscilloscopes?
Nice work Todd I will be ordering the 200mhz with the bigger memory.
Great! You will like it I'm sure. I do.
Excellent quick review Todd. Just wondering about the PC software; Does the manual say which versions of Windows are compatible?
This is what is in the help file for the latests download for this scope software from Hantek website:
If you need to install and run the Scope software, the minimum PC configuration is :
Microsoft Windows 2000/ XP /Vista /7 32bits and 64bits
256MB RAM or higher
CD-ROM or DVD
Super VGA or higher
10 MB hard disk
Great video! I never had have a scope. I'm dreaming of a scope.
This is excellent. Great job. I bought one today.
This oscilloscope has only 40K of Memory Depth! Do you find any issue due to so little memory?
Nice. Didn't know. makes engineering and manufacturing sense that way nowadays to do it that way.
everything works perfectly. only that when i try to save the s/r wavefront or setup i cant get to save the file. when i press save to usb button, it messages wavefront saved success but there is nothing in usb. the disc icon is lighted blue when it says that it detected. i heard. some oscolliscope dont support higher pen drives above 2 gb, so i am hoping thats the case
you could get the Hantek DSO5072P 60MHz scope for $240 and hack it to get 200MHz for 100 bucks cheaper. But it requires some fiddling around with an usb uart adapter, soldering some wires into the serial bus onto the DSO and removing 2 capacitors.
Would you say the built in frequency counter on this is pretty accurate?
Yes
It's amazing that CS has these for $329 when similar models at Frys are so much more! Actually I just checked and they are now just $299! They had an 18% off sale and free shipping so I got one for $262! Mine seems to have a lot of noise on the trace though. Has anyone else had that problem?
Excelent Review, do you can do the computer software review? I read in the specifications that have real time analisys, i want to know if is capable or doing data decoding in software. Thanks you very mutch.
Much appreciated for a helpful user review
You're welcome Susan!
you please telme your experience. Better yet this ocsiloscop yes/ no .
I have to shoot new. Please telme sir am from India
thank you, Todd Harrison, correctly explained
Hi Todd, i enjoyed your Hantek 200 Mhz scope review. I've just bought the 100 Mhz version. I put the cd into my laptop, hoping to get the manual, but all i got was a grating ( crosshatch ) on the screen, but no manual. I wonder if you could shed some light on this, or am i doing something wrong with the cd? I have to tell you that i am 67 years old and just recently have become interested in electronics, so i am very much a beginner. Thanks in advance for any help and i enjoy your video clips. Best regards, Oz
Hi Oz, I have a copy you can download from my blog. www.toddfun.com/DSO5000P_Manual.pdf
me too 68
Nice video, just bought mine in uk. What cheap signal generator do you recommend ?
Thanks... this will be mine when I set my station back up
Hi what is your opinion on just 40K memery depth of DSO5202P and DSO5202P vs Siglent SDS1202X-E which one is good pick. Siglent SDS1202X-E having 14mpts memory depth.
SD1202X-E
Thank you.
Thank you
Is it possible to compare differences of work and picture, measurements results, between 100MHz and 200MHz oscilloscope ??
What is a difference between for example Hantek and Owon, with the same specs ?
I try to select a new oscilloscope to buy ......... thx
Great job doing this video. I learned a lot
Glad you enjoyed it!
Just noticed your Tek 2465 is not sitting on its feet? These scopes use ~Hybrids that run very hot. They are on the lower board and have velts by them in the case. If they are the same as my 2440, you might find they will over head and die.
Cheers
Thank you. I will cut some holes in the shelf under the scope.
Good review - best one on UA-cam so far. It could be shortened, but at least you didn't waste over three minutes complaining about non-existent issues with the appearance of the scope like some other idiot reviewer did. I want to know about features and performance - and you provided a lot of useful information. Thanks.
Thanks! I agree ;)
You CAN LAN expand it. Add chip and connector edit FW done!
How to do it ? Is there a tuto anywhere ?
No pass / fail trigger in the back! How can you probe the number of waveforms / s?
DSO5102p and DSO5202p 1 in 1 hardware or are there any differences?
I would"ve left the plastic screen protector on instead of peeling it off. I've left my on just to keep the screen scratch free but, it's just my personal preference and opinion
I just bought the Hantek DSO5102 and I can't get the driver to work for PC interfacing. Seems the Certificate Verification from China is not good to use the driver or Firmware! Any work around that you know of?
I have none, sorry. Maybe contact the manufacture?
you please telme your experience. Better yet this ocsiloscop yes/ no .

Is the hantek suitable for adjusting rf eye patterns from CD players, laserdisc players etc?
good video and nice presentation, voice clear and mantaaafff
hello. the usb in front doesnot stores file but says wavefront saved in usb. is there issue with the pendrive? i am using 4 gb
In the setup utility of the scope there should be an option to format the USB. Try that first. If that doesn't work I would be surprised but will try to help more.
54:15 Use F buttons (multiple clicks) to change settings if V0 too sensitive
Excellent review ...thank you!
Hi, could you please do a review of Hantek DSO1200 handheld oscilloscope. thanks
Did you check internal Memory and see if it was there too be Hacked ??
im a repair teck I work with amplifiers .is this worth the buy?
Thank you for the great video
i have bought one. but the power cord came with it doesn't have the third ground prong.what about yours. is it ok to work with it. whats your suggestion... pls reply...
Mine has a ground plug. It should have a ground plug. I would send it back.
Hi thanks for the video. Maybe you can help me. I wonder if those type of scopes within hantek brand could feature any hability to make automatique measurements over the USB port like gpib standard communication. That would be very handy at this price point! Any idea? Thanks
It does have software for PC interface so I'm guessing yes but one might have to use LabVIEW or write their own program code.
Good review.
I wonder if Hantek scope quality will be similar to Rigol cheapest scopes.
P.S. Smell means nothing if we talk about software :-)
The Rigols are good. A bit more expensive for the same options but good.
thanks forvideo.how much is the physical differnece between tis and hantek DSO5102P
Same everything but the 102p is a two channel 100 MHz and the 202p is a two channel 200 Mhz scope.
Hey Todd when you say you wish it had more memory, exactly how does it utilize memory? I assume capture and playback?
Yes

I've seen folks move a single channel U-Scopes from one coil to the next until they find the bad coil but some coils impossible to reach.
can you enable subtitle translation?
great help, for those who do not understand English
a cordial greeting
Anyone else have issues loading the drivers for this? Windows doesn’t like the certificate (or lack thereof).
....... Are you playing 'Spot the difference' ? (Two Mystery Vans now) ..... Did you see the news the other day, cops chased lady in a mock mystery van. (Funny). P.S. Enjoying your productions, well done Mate.
Hi Todd,
Ive recently purchased a Hantek 4202C DSO.
Okay I solved the problem i missed one step which hadnt been documented in the manual. thank you
What step was that?
well as a beginner with scopes i didnt know that i should attach the probe tip to the calibration point too, not only the grounding clips, so closing the circuit. thats how the waveform was (nearly) correct.
Hello,
Your video is very interesting, unfortunately my English is very poor and I have a lot of trouble following the explanations. Can you install the automatic subtitles that would be a great help. Thank you very much for your work and good continuation.
ok but what do i set the scope at? i understand the x10
53:44 How is that possible? Hantek can't see the nonsense of the V0 knob direction?
+Popart 2015 I"m not sure. Maybe they will see my review and correct the software. I have not seem them want to correct the software yet so don't hold your breath. Plus, some have argued it makes more scene to them the way it work so maybe we are just strange minded?
Haha, I was curious about your comment so I jumped straight to that part of the review. As a software developer I initially thought it made sense because it's clearly going further through the list, but it's also going down the screen! :D
They did not get the directions wrong: by convention turning cw makes the cursor go down, turning ccw makes it go up. There is nothing to fix here.
Function Save to USB does not work on mine. I tried 3 different flash drives, tried formatting to ntfs and fat32. Same thing. Anyone having this issue?
I do not. Have you tried formatting it using the scope format option? I think there is such an option in the menus? I would have to look again but I know my other scopes have a format option.
can you do review for Hantek DSO4202c
Sorry. I don't have the scope.
do hantek have an outlet in the Philippines the price is very good for 200 Mhz.
Great video.
