I appreciate the simplicity of it. I learned that double wrench trick at my first quick lube job as a pit tech and it has saved my ass a million times since then! I am about to be replacing all 4 of mine in the next few days and all I have are hand tools, no impacts. I am hoping to be able to get it done. It has aftermarket coilovers on it now and is lowered so I'm hoping with them having been changed at least once that it won't be too bad.
Hello, to remove tie rod, you can search it as "Tie Rod End Removal Tool", here is a video that i found on internet, good luck, www.classiccarrestorationclub.com/video/tie-rod-end-removal-tool-034556
I have a 2002 honda civic lx. I am changing front struts, both sides. And front, right side wheel bearing and hub. Also, the right side axle. So far every video I've seen mentions the wheel should be spinning FREELY when car is jacked up. Neither left or right spin at all. Common sense tells me it is because the transmission is in PARK. Is this spinning freely thing supposed to be done in NEUTRAL?
Hello I supposed your car is automatic, mine is manual, yes the park system in automatic lock the gear of the output shaft, therefore yes the parking will lock the wheel, but be careful if you need to apply a lot of torque in the will with the parking engaged, that mechanism it cannot stand a lot of torque sometimes
Best no BS basic home workshop video I've found on how to to this job. Thanks!

I’m installing coil overs how do I know how tight to put the middle bolt on the upper mount ?
I don't want to put on risks, I normally do by feeling , so I would suggest to be safe look in the manual for torque specs 🤠
