You can never have too much fun! WHAT A BLAST! GET VIKING HOUSE T-SHIRTS HERE: taofficial.com/collections/t-shirts/products/viking-t-shirt Thanks for all the incredible support on this series guys! It's been great having you join us on the adventure :) We will be back here again soon! - Mike
We watched the hour long Viking House building with NO talking and it was absolutely mesmerizing. Just the sounds of the forest and the woodworking and learning by watching. The talking is not at all important. Mesmerizing without it. We will certainly be watching more. 👍🏻
I love watching all the historic structure builds. Especially the fact that there’s no talking, just doing, for the first part of each video. Super soothing to watch and listen while I do crafting at home. Makes me want to get out there and cook outside again. Maybe after the Covid crisis is over.
Guys I have been watching this stuff since “pallet wood cabin” and me, my son, and a friend, have laid the ground work on a pioneer cabin on back of my property. It will also be all by hand and 90% from natural resources. All because of you guys. Thanks so much and can’t wait for more!
Watching this with my morning coffee, instead of checking out Facebook, news, or Nextdoor . Much better for my mental health . One of many lessons learned: no matter how busy you are, you're never too busy to pet the doggo. Also mesmerized watching the clay go on.
I remember the first episode when I watched him prepare the calamari I thought, "what in the world am I watching this man cook for? Im here to watch them build" and now I find myself looking forward to what is going to be cooked more and more. Great series. I binged watched arts 1 to 9 in one night - was epic.
Not really viking but I like you guys hanging out in the woods, eating good food, baking bread and working with hands. I think that each and every one of us needs that from time to time
I absolutely LOVE seeing my culture being revisited and brought back to life, even in the smallest forms, The Gods would be proud of this build. you have earned +1 subscription
Your videos aren’t just for men I’m a woman who loves build shows yours is great I’m not a young girl I’m a woman of 70 with a grown so; who now watches because I raved over these videos! Thank you for the joy I feel watching!
I think we all do. One of my biggest disappointments is to wakeup in the morning and see the alert for a missed livestream from Dustin, am I alone in this? Blast our ridiculous timezone here which is so far out from most of the world.
I'm one of those folks that YT has been recommending this series to for weeks. I only last night started watching and I wish I had done so sooner. This was a blast!
@Carlos Domenech yah, I'm in a fairly tight packed subdivision and could probably hit 9 houses if I threw a rock at them. I'd love several acres with less people.
I really enjoyed to watch how you spend your time in the forest, in this house, how you coock tasty bread, meat and fish over the campfire! It's just amasing! Thanks for this and I hope you are able to read all comments!
This is the dream house for every bushcrafter , one day I will make one like that and live in it for a month , I really hope so... Great video buddy , the type of video I put on my TV as soon as I saw the title, grabbed popcorn and enjoyed it since the first minute until the last Take care and look forward to the next Saxon house video Nick
This two lads build as fast as they can..Rome wasn’t built in a day. But must admit..it’s nice to get the uploads . We know it be something to look forward too. Thanks TA outdoors.
Just got through watching your latest Viking House episode I see how you use that clay to cover up the little cracks in the back of the Viking house I like the two T-shirts that y'all got keep doing what you doing from the big state of Texas
I have the black viking hoodie from you, and I've been subscribed for about a year and a half and I'm 13 and you have inspired me to build my own bushcraft shelters and cabins thank you for your hard work!!!
I've binged this Viking series form begin to end in 2 days. Loved it! Thank you so much for these awesome series guys. Really, really loved it. Wish we were allowed to do stuff like this in the woods here in the Netherlands. Now, there is still so much content to watch.
Hi my name is Eric the fat mountain bike what could happen from Klamath Falls Oregon I've been watching your videos for the last 2 months and I love them very much I to make videos on UA-cam and I'm getting ready to do some stealth bush camping in the next month and I got a lot out of your guys's videos that I'm going to use in mind
It really doesn't matter guys what your next project is. If you film it, edit it and post it,,,, I'll most definitely be watching it! Both your's and Dustin's channels are at the top of my list of videos to watch! Great Job by both of you.
I’ll be honest, Mike. You, Dustin and your dad always make my day. I always look forward to seeing your videos. Don’t ever stop. In the next overnighter, why don’t you cook up a big feast. Looking forward to the next episode. Cheers, fellas!!😀😀👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 P.S. I wish a very Happy Easter to you all and your families
Love the New Shirts! You guys are going to Break me with all this GREAT Merch! Only problem I had with this video Mike, was it was way too short. You guys are Great! Love it!
What’s up guys!! Best series of Bushcraft on the internet. You, Dustin, and Dad make a great Trio. The tireless work all of you have put in just to actually build it is worth everything. To know what it takes and really appreciate it Mike.... now that’s a Viking. Cheers from across the pond guys.
You two are a great pair. I loved watching the evolution of the structure and I love watching the creative cooking. The Viking House is the embodiment of the type of place I would like to be at for a camp out.
I've just watched the entire "Viking Camp" series, and made me miss a lot the days out in the forest. Kinda "hate/envy" you guys, a lot!!. Fantastic job!!. Ps: Forgot to mention the fantastic cooking!, damm salmon! XD
What a great series!! Completely enjoyed every episode of this build. You guys are so lucky to have the land and the ability to make projects like this. You guys are a lot of fun to watch.
hi guys, 1. sorry for my english . i learn it for more than 30 years and use it not mutch. 2. your fish looks good an 3. sorry, clay only its not so good for walls. better its clay mix with fiber. clay only broken faster, and 4. use more clay/fiber-mix outside. in the old times (beginning in the stonage zu the 18. or 19. century houses with clay outside was with clay and fiber. (my grandperants in the 90is years have a small farmhouse from 1790). you guys makes great projekts. my best wish from southgermany to england.
You guys are awesome together, your friendship and fun you have doing these bushcraft projects is really cool. Love this Viking series and the incredible work you do, cheers and so excited for more from you guys.
...what a blast! actually I'm gonna build a "viking-style-house" myself this summer in sweden - inspired by you guys. t-shirt has been ordered ;) greetz from germany!
Wow! We were thrilled to get notified about a new Viking episode. Chinking those walls looked like so much work. Great job. Loved watching the cooking as well. Can’t wait for the next episodes.
hey mike id love if you could answer me this question. i’m making my own shelter and debating if i could cover the walls in mud like you did. i’m afraid it might make the whole shelter smell. what do you think? pls like so he will see
Hey buddy, it probably would do to begin with. But once it has dried the smell should not be as strong. You might want to mix some ash in it. If you can get a binding material such as straw or any dead/dry grass to mash in with the mud then it should set better against your shelter. Hope that helps ! - Mike
Hi, just wanted to say,I am not a Viking, just a viewer, but I enjoy your creativity, and your craft, you guys are great, very entertaining, I also enjoy your cooking sessions, and I'm a woman, so keep up the great work, I will be tuning in.
How about getting some splitting wedges? Hammering ln the back of your axe will with time deform the hole and cause the handle to get loose. Still the best outdoor channel on UA-cam! Keep up the good work!
And I thought that Mike was going for water to do the world's harshest filter review. Dustin shows a great technique for deboning a whole salmon. I bake bread and your cast iron oven bread looks splendid! I have been reading the journal of an 18th Century Englishman who was traveling 'in the Colonies' in 1775. Buffalo and venison were easy to find, but how they missed bread when the grain ran low!

The pitched roof is typical of houses n S andinavia due to heavy snows.

The clay should mixed with some fiber to make it last long
Awesome series! I enjoyed both the Viking and the Saxon episodes!
How much would it cost to rent out the Viking Shelter? Asking for a friend.

I was just thinking that they need to put it on AirBnB.
Incredible series guys I'm loving it
Merch idea: lamb copter.
That is all.
The bushcraft show sounds really cool - I wish I could be there.
