Great idea and I thought about this in my 2017 cricket, such as on the roof. But for now, thinking smaller. You said the door was another attachment spot. How would you have attached it to the door?
Honestly, I didn't fully figure out attaching to the door. I think there could be a way to integrate into the angle brackets on the (not sure if cricket and mantis are the same), but it just seemed like it would be more costly and time consuming.
Have you taken your taxa mantis to Padre Island national sea shore? If so how far down the beach did you go? Only asking I believe you said your a Texan...
We have. Did it in March of this year. I'm working on a video about it as we speak. We went 5 miles down. I drove down to 15 without the camper, and felt as though I could have easily made it that far. We didn't have anyone within 1/4 mile of us at MM5, so there really wasn't a need to push it.
Awesome idea and great video, thanks for sharing. BTW the backyard fort/playground/fun zone is awesome!
Thanks and thanks! That fort was quite the project, and fortunately we had a lot of wood donated from neighbors who tore down fences to put in pools.
What a fantastic idea!!
Thanks!
