Been using VGP pretty exclusively for some months now. I love mixing in mods from different presets to arrive at a pretty customized look. Keep up the amazing work, Dave!
Thanks bro! Means a ton!
Excellent work Dave. You’re one of three UA-camrs I consistently watch and the only one with presets I’ve ever continued to use. Even spending hundreds at a time and then opening them up and nothing works. I’ve wasted so much on crappy presets but these are consistently amazing. Would 100% recommend them to anyone! Can’t wait for more! Portra 800, maybe Cinestill 400, some Fuji maybe? Pro 400H?
Thank you! Definitely some fun stuff coming… one of those you mentioned is next 💪🏼
@@davidherring I hope it’s what I’m thinking. I’m on the Patreon and waiting for the final version of a beta I’m loving! 😉
I am beyond happy to have found you through the Life of Phys podcast! I can't tell you how many presets I have purchased over the years that just sit because i never can make them look good. I am not super technically proficient in LR. I know what I need to know lol. BUT just bought Portra and Vision 3 and they are literally so perfect for my workflow of hating to spend a ton of time on the computer!! Thank you for your work on these, I love them!
I’m so happy to hear that! Comments like this mean a ton to me, and my preset shop exists to bring efficiency to creatives like yourself! Welcome to the channel 💪🏼
@@davidherring thank you thank you! I’m excited to be here!
Just Gorgeous
One of my fav places in CA.
Interesting video - love the channel - I've experimented with presets in the past but always felt there was something a bit lacking. 6 months ago I picked up a 1952 Leica IIIf and took the plunge back into film photography after being away from it for 30yrs. I absolutely love shooting with that camera - my wife tells me the shots look like I went back in time. There's an amazing amount of different looks you can get with different films - last weekend I shot Kodak Vision 3 motion picture film and also AGFA Copex Rapid which was the film that was used primarily for microfilm and document photography. The film bug bit me hard - so I picked up a medium format 1951 Voightlander 6x9 - the scans I get back are amazing. Anyways - shooting film opened up a whole new dimension for creativity for me. It slows down my workflow so much because I have to take so much more into consideration before I click the shutter - it's confining yet freeing at the same time. Sorry if I hijacked the thread.
Thanks so much. I agree - when it's film, I'm super slow and intentional. Digital, I play around a bit more. Appreciate you sharing!
Great Video. Shoutout to where I work. Capitola. My hometown of Watsonville which is next door to Corralitos. I know those Apple crates anywhere!
Nice! I'm not too far from you!
brings me joy to see you doing awesome!!! Pics and chat were most excellent
Thank you sir!
Beautiful locations!
Thank you!
Congratulations on the anniversary!
Thank you!
happy first bday to vgp!
Thank you Jack!
Hi Dave. Great video and exciting photos. Keep on going. Andreas from Munich😊
Thanks! Appreciate it!
Just picked up the Portra 400 preset from VGP to help support you and the channel.
Aww thanks so much!
Your presets are one of a kind I really enjoy them. But I recently changed to Capture One and I am very sad not being able to use the presets. Do you think in the future we will have a Capture One version?
Side Note creating a Leica M9 preset can be nice or kodachrome gold.
I’m hoping a C1 release is in the future.
