I'm glad to see you're back with this BM single, you don't wanna miss one of SuMetal's favorite from this album. I like the progressive metal elements and that nasty heavy breakdown. There's also a reference to Macbeth in the lyrics besides the obvious lines famously known by Snow White tale.

Last month they started the Sabaton's Europe Tour and yesterday they finished the live tour, everyone were having a blast and they will come back to Europe at the end of the year, this World Tour is gonna be awesome, the US will get another live shows with the Babyklok Tour along with Dethklok and they will be part of more festivals shows.
This was at BabyMetal Begins - The Other One live at PIA Arena MM, Yokohama last April 2nd, this is the first concert with MomoMetal being the official member, she has been the third backup dancer since 2019 and now she finally become part of the trio officially, we all proud of her.🍑❤
The Western Kami Band is also playing there and this live tour, they're with the girls since 2019 and slay every live show too.

@@StanDotsethMusic have you done Tales of the Destinies yet? It's almost impossible to find a good video for it on UA-cam but it's a prog metal masterpiece.
My personal favorite Babymetal song is Catch Me If You Can. It's the maximum combination of heavy and cute. I doubt the existence of any song both heavier and cuter than Catch Me If You Can. But the best videos of it are blocked on UA-cam. The videos of it on UA-cam are good but not great.

Only BABYMETAL can blend in one song and seamlessly so many genres or different flavors. And "Mirror Mirror" is an excellent example, with very progressive metal riffs, metalcore-ish verses, a hardcore breakdown and a very BABYMETAL chorus. Not to mention they quote Grimms' Fairy Tales ("MIRROR MIRROR Listen to my wish. Who's the fairest of them all?") and also Shakespeare's MacBeth ("Double, double, toil and trouble. Fire burn and cauldron bubble.").
"Mirror mirror" is definitely one of my favorite songs off the new album, THE OTHER ONE alongside "METALIZM", "Believing", "MAYA" and Divine Attack". And I'm thinking I'm not alone because (except for "Believing" and adding "Metal Kingdom") those are precisely the songs they have been rotating during their recent tour across the UK and Europe with Sabaton.
Su-metal said about "Mirror Mirror": "it talks about how other people can see you, but you can only see yourself in a mirror, and that may not be your true self - yet ultimately, you’re the only one that truly discerns what you really look like. So in the end, it’s like asking yourself who you really are."

Where are the guys who said new BABYMETAL was inclining to J-pop side and not heavy enough? They are now understanding that "Difference and Diversity" is another name of BABYMETAL. You should not hasten to be judgmental about them. 😄 Regarding the contrast between English lyrics and Japanese lyrics, Su said "I understand that two languages express two-facedness of human being". [Source : magazine PMC vol.27 page 39] So the difference between almost natural voice and effected voice may be intended to emphasize the dichotomy.
And the passage too fast to grasp "Double, double, toil and trouble" and "Fire burn and cauldron bubble" is by Moa (This lyric is quoted from "Macbeth" by Shakespeare). Su said in the article she loves the part by Moa in the 2nd verse. [the same source] Now this passages are sung by Moametal and Momometal togetherヽ(^o^)丿

The singers should collaborate with Polyphia. Musically Babymetal and Polyphia seem to share quite a bit of elements.

They have. Brand new day on their third album has guitars written and recorded by polyphia

f you choose to explore more of BabyMetal I suggest reacting to LIVE performance videos as this is where they shine.
They have over 50 LIVE songs/performances and each one is different. Yes they are fearless exploring many genres.
Avoid Glastonbury LIVE performances as the sound production by the BBC (who was in charge of that festival did a terrible job - mics not turned on, incorrect volume levels, etc.)
Suggest reacting to these for a start.

At their concert in Yokohama on April 1 it was announced that a permanent third member Momoko Okazaki (who is also a graduate of Sakura Gakuin and has been appearing with them LIVE since 2019) has officially become the third member.
Their new album in my opinion that released March 24 is amazing with so many different styles.
I will leave you 5 channels that specialize in high quality compilation videos of LIVE BabyMetal performances to get past algorithms used to block videos. They use LIVE audio from one concert edited seamlessly with footage from multiple LIVE performances of that song from different venues (thus fooling the algorithms).
