Detailed description of Center edge angle of hip or Center edge angle of wiberg. Center edge angle is formed between a line joining the lateral margin or border of acetabulum with a vertical line joining center of head of femur or with line vertical line joining center of head of femur.The normal value of center edge angle is between 25-40 degree and less than 25 degree indicates acetabular dysplasia and greater than 40 degree indicates femeroacetabular impingment. There are two types of center edge angle thats the lateral center edge angle and anterior central edge angle.

Honestly, not to turn this comment into a negative, but going through school right now, it’s amazing how bad my teachers are at conveying information by comparison to a lot of professors I see on UA-cam. They give students information at face value, dump all sorts of numbers on your lap, don’t explain how any of it works or do anything to relate it back to the curriculum or otherwise cement our understanding, then they’re SHOCKED when a semester or two later, our brains didn’t retain the information. This is a very good breakdown of what it is and, more importantly, why it matters.
