So much work you put into this! Thank you. It is very nice to hear someone talk about/ appreciate the details! I feel like there was a lot of attention paid to shading, textures, light shines, et cetera. It's a lot of work. Mid century is not my favorite style to work in but I can see lots of possibilities for this. I can't wait to see how you manipulate these pieces into completely different things. I'm sad to hear the game play is not as much as people were hoping for. I don't have the pk yet but I think I'm going to enjoy it very much. I Wish I had that old medieval pk. I never got it and I would dearly love to play with it. If we got that with Sims 4 I'd be in 7th heaven. Wowww! I really appreciate how in depth this is!!! It’s not my personal taste and I do feel as though they’ve done this style better in other packs but it’s still great to have and it does tie in to those really well. Disappointment about the swatches not matching/missing though. The quality of the items just gets better and better it makes me excited for more. The new career looks fun too though I’m not big on gameplay personally

I also agree that I feel this style has already been done a lot between several packs now but at least people who like this mid-century modern style (which seems to be a lot of people lol) will hopefully be satisfied so that we can get more packs with fantasy style (yes I'm being selfish hee hee). Agreed, the quality is getting better so I'm almost glad that maybe the packs i will really like in the next couple years will have a nicer quality then if they came out a couple years ago (yup being selfish again hahaha). I'm gonna try the career out now and see if I enjoy gameplay because like you, I"m not really that big on gameplay either!
@@fantasims I remember that even though the career was quite glitchy in The Sims 3 (sorry, but this is a 99% replica of the career back then, from what I saw thus far) it was one of the few things that gave me a reason to play in Live mode. World adventures was nice too.
Great video! I always like to pull out all the new items on a lot when I get a new pack, but I don't have the patience to do this. It great to be able to look at them all next to each other with every color swatch. I agree with you the solid woods look much better than the two tones, but it's nice that they gave us some versatility. I definitely have a problem with the dark wood tone they used, its got like a reddish hint to it, and I'm not as huge a fan of mahogany as I am an espresso color, but I guess I'll just have to deal. I also agree with you that it's too much stuff for a stuff pack but is it necessarily enough for a game pack? I'm unsure. A new world would have definitely made the answer a lot more clear. It definitely isn't like any game pack that we have already so it's kind of hard to judge. I'm completely underwhelmed by the gameplay but I love the variety of items. Now give me fantasy with the next one and I'll forgive the confusion caused by this pack lol. Thank you as always for your wonderfully detailed videos, I love your commentary. Happy to hear you're feeling better and look forward to your next video.

LOL I will forgive EVERYTHING if they give me my medieval pack WITH DRAGONS lol I also agree, I'm not that into the super dark woods, they don't tend to look good in the game because they lose a lot of detail and are a bit intense for my taste. I SO WISH we could choose our own wood color, even if they didn't give us a color wheel but gave us the ability to choose different bed frames with different blankets/pillows for example, that would be perfect! anyway I'm doing a bit better than yesterday so thank you so much! I would also like it if they just picked like 10 different woods and made everything in those tones instead of adding new tones each pack. It makes matching stuff so much more difficult. Like I absolutely love the RoM furniture, but I struggle to match that furniture in with other packs unless I choose white or black. Same goes for Vampires. Maybe in the sims 5 lol.
Is it normal to just kind of zone out when you see a item that really goes with what you do in your day to day life that you are still zoned out to the point that half the video is done before you realize you are no longer staring at that one item that caught your eye? Because I did that when you showed the designer desks. I love to draw and that just caught me. Please tell me my sim could sketch at that desk? I'll give you a cookie. Also just so you know (Before the designer desks made me zone out until I reached stove tops) While you were showing off the tables I thought the stove top stoves were placemats and for a moment got happy because that would be a nice addition.
Your B&B reviews are amazing! Only thing on this video is you must have sped it up or something? Your voice is especially going very fast. Sensory overload for me! I had to stop it a couple of times. I know youtubers try to make the videos as short as possible, but I dont mind long videos. I would much rather have a long video as a sped up voice over. Maybe it is just my phone or something, idk. Wonderful video otherwise. This is what the sims team needs to do. They need to put everything out in front of them. Then oversights like missing island counters and mismatched swatches would not happen! 😇

Yeah GUILTY AS CHARGED lol I did speed it up a little because UA-cam algorithms will only promote videos that have a longer watch time duration ( so like how long a person will stay watching the video) and my watch time is higher for videos that are sped up a bit. I have ADD so I always watch videos on UA-cam at 1.5 playback speed so it never seems fast to me lol but I didn't think about my videos feeling overwhelming to other people, so sorry! You can try choosing .75 playback speed by clicking the cog icon at the bottom of the video but that might feel a bit too slow! In the future I'll try to speed it up a bit less so it is hopefully not too much! Thanks for the feedback! And I agree, they really should lay everything out in livestreams so we can see everything! And YES I feel like they need to do this before they release packs for quality control purposes! Anyway have a FANTASTIC day wonderful! appreciate you!
