Glad to find another reactor with professional background. Adam Rupp is their secret weapon. He's just getting better and better. Every time we listen to their new song, it's like opening a present, and there are always extra surprises for us to find out. What a great band!
Many of us like to close our eyes and take it in. Did you catch the heart beat from Adam in the second section? The double bases in this arrangement are so sick! Chance really brings a different dimension and the double dive at the end was epic. Great reaction! There's so much going on in this one, yet they make it sound so light and simple.
Seem like everything they do makes my jaw drop onto the floor. Frankly, I'm not as young as I used to be and I'm getting tired of bending down to pick it up... :P
Your face is so expressive when you hear something wonderful! We feel you when you say you'd like to just close your eyes and listen to the amazing quality of their voices. I love your reactions because you know music and how it should be done! Love you watch you react to Home Free. Their music makes me so happy! Keep bringing the reactions! Love them!
I'm so impressed by people who know music and can listen through a song one time hearing all the parts individually. Then you back and point out some little part that I never would have heard unless / until pointed out. On the first listen you point out percussion, bass, alto, how they do the same sequence of notes in two verses just with different voice ranges. Thanks!
I would like to remind - especially you good sir, THE ARRANGEMENTS SO BEAUTIFULLY DONE ... are by their Incredible arranger = Darren Rust. The staff, the singers, the video, audio technical and support crew MAKE THE FINAL PRODUCT ..... Great!!! jj
I love your reactions to Home Free. I've been a fan of theirs since the Sing Off. No matter what you react to. A cover or a original you won't be disappointed. They are super talented. Also the bass Tim and high tenor Austin are talented song writers. Home Free has done several songs by both of them.
I just LOOOOOVE your reactions to Home Free! You appreciate and personify every detail that makes them so special. I for one so enjoy and appreciate it because I think that's what makes Home Free so special and what sets them apart and above other groups. You can actually FEEL the emotion of the song through their sound. Thank you for another incredible reaction! Hope to see you do another HF song soon...mad respect for you!
Jarvis thank you for your reaction and the things you pointed out. I love this soooo very much. My favorite Home Free video now. At the end that double bass drop from Chance & Tim is amazing
It’s such a pleasure watching your reactions. You highlight things I never would have caught on to, it highlights the music we’re listening to. Also, you react with maturity instead of goofy, loud, teenage behavior. Thanks again!
One of the things I love about your reactions is the description of the vocal percussion. It not only brings our attention to tiny details we may have missed, it describes a feeling in the song from a professional standpoint. Well done sir. Well done!
Great reaction! Another beautiful heartfelt song done by one of the best a cappella groups out there. They have been hitting home runs with one song after another. This gave me such a warm feeling. Loved everything about it. Tight harmonies, individual solos, Tim's bass & Adam's tasteful beatboxing. I love how you appreciate & notice so many sounds done by Adam since you are a drummer.
Loved your reaction, as usual. It's so nice hearing someone with a trained ear point out to me the little things I would have otherwise missed consciously, but that subconsciously are the reasons I enjoy the song so much. Thank you.
Phenomenal! Perfection! I love EVERYTHING about this one! Notice the "heartbeat thumps" from Adam Rupp in the first part of the song! Very subtle, yet really nice " flavor" as you say it! This one is causing me some confliction however, because I'm having a hard time choosing my favorites. I change my mind with each new release. Heck, I'm just going to stop trying because it's impossible for me! Thank you for reacting! I can tell that you enjoyed it and I'm glad you did! ❤️😀
Good reaction, I like your detailed description! I can only agree with you, close your eyes and enjoy 😍 Such great voices, wonderful harmonies. These guys are the best!
You have such a good ear. I didn’t even hear that little part Adam did til you pointed it out. I did love that heartbeat noise he did in the beginning. Loved Austin and Rob’s runs and loved Tim and Chance’s bass. Video was sweet too. Such a beautiful song. Thank you for your great reaction Jarvis!
For the record, I LOVE your reactions to these videos. All the things you bring to it, your enthusiasm, your knowledge of the craft, your appreciation, your ability to communicate what you're trying to share, your joy in the artistry, your obvious love of music. I'm currently bingeing my way through Your Home Free reaction list 🎶💗 What a pairing! Thank you SO much for sharing.
I always enjoy your reactions because you notice and point the subtleties and technical aspects that I usually miss because during my first listen I am generally thinking "ooooh purty". Your analysis always enhances the music for me. Thank you for the reactions.
I've enjoyed learning more about percussion and what to look for in music. I love Home Free and many of the reactors have given me greater depths of why and how they are so great! One thing I've noticed about Home Free is that they always seem to do their homework and relate their music videos to the song and to the original videos and there are SO many little details and they are intentional and mindful. Thanks for the reacts!
They always have the attention to detail about each song they do. The heartbeat that Adam does and the double bass at the end. How can someone not like it. I find myself humming this throughout the day. I'm excited to see what they have in store for us next. I would love for them to do Monster Mash or something for Halloween I think they would have such a fun time with Monster Mash
I lernt so much from what i thought was a beautiful arrangement before from you. The percussion intensity going through was integral to the original, start soft and move into it, and without instruments to get that to the forefront is just homage to how good they are. Also chance and Tim interchanging on bass and vocals was unreal. The double bass drop. Everything about this band is just unreal . They’ve changed my life through COVID and your reactions too. Love it JB
Terrific reaction, once again. I always hear new things when you do your reaction. I know everyone refers to Rascal Flats, but I believe this was originally done by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. More Home Free when you get a chance, please. Chance sings lead and Adam’s vocal percussion is insane on Some Girls Do………check it out!
Yep, Jeff Hanna was one of the Co-Writers, the main vocals and piano was Bob Carpenter, mandolin I believe was Jimmy Ibotson, Banjo I believe was Jeff Hanna, Harmonica was Jimmie Fadden.....I do like in the video of this version, the HF did sunset silhouette shots that mimics the old NGDB album covers so I would like to believe they paid tribute to them in a way. Here is the original from 1994 if you are interested. ua-cam.com/video/jLRC64uomjk/v-deo.html
I think the BASS SUSPEND AT THE FINALLY IS A HARMONIC LOW OVER LOW with Tim and A. Chance !!! So great in each register ... there five ain't no jive People !!! GBjj
This one reminds me a little of their covers of "Life Is a Highway," "Take Me Home, Country Roads," and "Crazy." How do you reinvent a classic back into a new classic? Home Free-style, that's how.
Your reactions are so refreshing & full of the important details that make up these fantastic arrangements. As a musician I hear a good % of what you bring out but I must say there are details that I miss..and Hallelujah there you are.. 'catching' it all...!! Heartfelt THANKS !!
Just like others said, you bring out things that I don’t even notice. I love this song and you make it even better with your remarks. Thanks for your absolutely great reaction!
Well you gave a fine synopsis of your reaction right at the end-PERFECT! They may have great attention to detail, but that is your fortes too, my guy! Love vibing with you!😎😎😎😎
What a joy to watch your face and movements as you react to every detail. And love how you help us hear all the groovy little things we might have missed.
I really love the way you are so knowledgeable about not only the singing, but the musical technicalities and especially the percussion. It’s obvious that you are or have been a professional musician and are educated about all things musical. Love watching your reactions and I always learn something from them! 😃
Loved it. And,loved your reaction. So glad Home Free prompted me to stumble your direction and onto your channel. Again, Your reaction will have me stopping by many, many times in the future! T’was fab!
So happy I waited for your reaction before I listened to this. I enjoy this time with you so much. I always end with a huge smile on my face. I love Home Free, but I find the initial experience so much richer when I spend it with you. lol, that doesn't sound creepy at all, i'm sure. Just a great way to end my day. thank you!
You are rapidly becoming one of my favorite reactors. I have listened to some of these reactors that just gush, but really don't have anything to say. As an acapella (barbershop) singer myself, I really appreciate the way you can break down what the singers are doing. I don't necessarily have the greatest ear, but once something is pointed out to me, I can hear it. I appreciate the way you give us all these clues, so that the next time I listen, even more of the beauty of the arrangement and performance come through to me. Keep up the good work.
I always get excited to see your reactions to Home Free! This has taken over number one on my Playlist. They didn't reinvent the wheel here, but just gave it everything I needed...the double bass drop, the perfect percussion and the tenors soaring over the top...it's all perfection
I love this one because it is close to the original, but add their twist to it. Thank you for a great reaction. I like how you appreciate how good these top acapella groups are....and I agree with what you say about Adam stay true to the percussion sounds.. he is awesome.
Thank you for this Home Free reaction and for pointing out the details of the arrangement that made it so pleasing to listen to. Really interesting. Cheers!
This is an amazing reaction. I will point out that this song was not originally done by the Rascal Flatts, but it was first recorded in 1994 by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Their band member, Jeff Hanna was one of the Co-Writers, the main vocals and piano was Bob Carpenter, mandolin I believe was Jimmy Ibotson, Banjo I believe was Jeff Hanna (tho I have seen this song live twice, these two have switched around banjo and mandolin), Harmonica was Jimmie Fadden....However, the song has been recorded multiple times by multiple artists over the years and I find it sad that no one really gives NGDB any credit for the music they did over the past 60ish years. But, I do like in the video of this version, the HF did sunset silhouette shots that mimics the old NGDB album covers so I would like to believe they paid tribute to them in a way. Here is the original from 1994 if you are interested. ua-cam.com/video/jLRC64uomjk/v-deo.html
Another great reaction!! I love this song, and it is absolutely beautiful. Again, I really love how you explain what you're hearing - it's always spot on. Thanks!
You are such a joy to watch. You can see the love and passion you feel for the music. I've heard this song by Rascal Flatts and Home Free many times. I feel like I can pull out so many things they're doing here, but you come along and help me to hear more. Thank you for the lesson 🙂 and for the positive vibe you always bring!
Jarvis, I always love your Home Free reactions! 😍 You're one of the few that I don't mind pausing the video several times because I either learn something or hear something I didn't hear until you point it out! 😁
You are the ONLY reason that I watch reactors! I LOVE YOUR ENTHUSIASM!!! You always make me smile. Thanks 😊
Glad to find another reactor with professional background. Adam Rupp is their secret weapon. He's just getting better and better. Every time we listen to their new song, it's like opening a present, and there are always extra surprises for us to find out. What a great band!

Christmas ain't for the lonely by home free 🍟❣️💯
Seem like everything they do makes my jaw drop onto the floor. Frankly, I'm not as young as I used to be and I'm getting tired of bending down to pick it up... :P
Your face is so expressive when you hear something wonderful! We feel you when you say you'd like to just close your eyes and listen to the amazing quality of their voices. Home Free doesn't do covers, they do upgrades! Thanks for your reactions
Hahaha I love it!
I swear man, you make me hear things I would never have heard without your breakdowns! Superb reaction, as always. Thanks JB!
I was thinking the same thing
@LoRyder. I was about to type the same thing! I love his breakdowns!!

DITTO!
I just had to post this reaction on my FB page....Hope ya garner 1,000 new subs.
We can always count on you for a great reaction to Home Free !!! These 5 guys were just meant to be together !!!!
It would have to be a, "weird-ass" reason why anyone wouldn't enjoy the talent of this amazing group of singers!!! Loved your reaction and comments!
I never liked how ppl never acknowledges Chance’s perfect “know is truueeee”
And the Grammy goes to Home Free .
Thanks!
He is in his own class. I really enjoy his reactions.
Starting the first chorus with the baritone was just VELVET!
That peddle tone at the end!
YESSSS!
The cars engine leads into the harmony, again great job, you and close your eyes, I have .
Thank you for reacting to Home Free. I love all of their music. Great reaction
Thank You for your great reaction 🥰🔥‼️🔥 Just pure AWESOMENESS 🥰🔥‼️
We are in mutual love with Home Free. Adam is THE vocal percussion guy!
Great!!! jj

Jarvis thank you for your reaction and the things you pointed out. I love this soooo very much. My favorite Home Free video now. At the end that double bass drop from Chance & Tim is amazing
It’s amazing how they can cover a song staying true to the original all the while personalizing with each of their voices. Beautiful.
They NEVER let us down. Ever.
Did you notice the heartbeat sound from Adam during the second verse from Rob. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
Didn’t notice Adams subtle rhythmic sounds until you pointed them out. So much better!! Thank you! ❤️
💜💜🔥🔥 as always.
What a fantastic reaction. Great job. Yes Home Free is great aren't they?
Home Free MANUFACTURERS happiness through their music!!! I love this and loved your reaction!!! Thank you! 😁👏👏👏👏
That double bass drop and the heartbeat sound were my favorite bits, but it's all just perfect.
It’s such a pleasure watching your reactions. You highlight things I never would have caught on to, it highlights the music we’re listening to. Also, you react with maturity instead of goofy, loud, teenage behavior. Thanks again!

You just made my day! Thanks for your great reaction, as always! 👏🏼♥️👏🏼♥️
Your reactions are unique....as is this HF performance. Thank you 💐💐
The Harmonies and Adam Rupp’s beatboxing were on point! Love your reaction and breakdown on what they were doing!!! I love Home Free 😊
Loved your reaction, as usual. It's so nice hearing someone with a trained ear point out to me the little things I would have otherwise missed consciously, but that subconsciously are the reasons I enjoy the song so much. Thank you.

You can rest assured that if you see Home Free in a field, valley, prairie, etc. they are about to kill it. This is basically 99% of their covers.
I really enjoy your comments on your reaction to Home Free music. I learn what to listen for. Great Job!
I just love your reactions. Home Free is amazing!!!! Thank you for reacting to them ❤

Another great reaction JB! Noticing all of the little nuances and their attention to detail is what makes these guys so special.

Love your opinions. You are very pleasant to watch. These are "MY BOYS", since 2014.
Have you done their video "Blue Ain't Your Color"??

Spot on reaction love your channel, do you have a link to some of your music?
Thank you for your detailed reaction. There is always something that I've overlooked and it's wonderful to have an extra set of ears pointing it out.

I know nothing about music/structure / nothing. I am learning so much from you Thanks for loving Music and wanting to teach.

Great reaction Jarvis! 😉
Another great reaction. I kearn a lot from your analysis.
The percussion at 2:04(ish) reminds me of a beating heart. Great cover. Awesome reaction. 😊
