The komodo casing is built like a tank (heavy watch) with a saphire crystal (not mineral). Very strong, nothing shake's on that watch, just like my MARATHON SAR (SWISS MOVEMENT). Very reliable Seiko movement NH35 like in the INVICTA grand diver give's life to that watch. Very good choice.
Nicely done. Love mine. The trick is you have to know when they are coming in and be waiting to order. Last time I talked to helm they said they won't have more Komodos in until late in the year.
Great tool watch for sure and the lume was working even in the light! Everything looks done well, the dial layout and color combinations are nice. Thank you Chris and Bob for an outstanding review, the watch rack is ingenious!
This one is one of the better dive watches I've seen at this price and I totally loved the colors. Awesome lume too. Chris's idea for a watch rack was so smart I thought too. Really like it. Thanks! :)
Thanks alot Chris! Loved having the chance to check out the Komodo and the stand is an awesome idea I'll be getting lots of use out of. So appreciative of everything. Cheers:)
Really like the look of the dial on the Komodo but 15+ hight scares me a little. Fantastic work by Chris on the watch rack. Might try something like that for myself.
Yeah 15mm is tall. I don't mind it in warmer weather but it's a little bit thick when it's jacket season. Chris's watch stand is great. Really smart idea for it. Thanks.
It's interesting that so many folks call a Wrist Dive Computer a "Watch" ... and many ask why I wear two dive watches ???... when in reality I wear my dive watch on my left wrist and my dive computer on my right..
I'm not a diver (I've been twice and would love to go more often) but my older brother is an diving enthusiast and does the same. Dive computer on one wrist and dive watch on the other.
Like the review. Love the watch. But like you, the only way to get one is if someone lends you theirs. Better odds getting a Rolex Daytona than a white Komodo. One day...
Another nice review Bob. I'm a bit of a Micro-cynic but this looks very much like a watch I'd enjoy owning. Lot of bang for the buck- sharp, and yes, I really like the 6:00 date. Have a Certina with that and it is much more balanced. I would be willing to pay another $50 to have a Sellita movement. To reiterate an earlier compliment- I like that your vids are generally (all?) under 10 minutes without a lot of felterkarb.
Just got my Orange Komodo last week, dove with it yesterday and today. It's a hunk and people comment on it often.
Nice. Congrats on the new watch. The orange looks awesome!
That's a darn nice dive watch; looks solid, rugged and definitely peaks my intrest.

Solid watch for sure. Really like that Marathon you have too. Thanks.

Thanks. It's definitely a great watch at this price. Problem with that is they sell quickly it seems.
TimeToGo Travel And Timepieces yup. These sold out within an hour.

I though that was a great idea for a stand too. Really like it. Thanks Jeffrey.
signed the waiting list :) Maybe next year I will get my Komodo :)
Nice intro to the video and great close up of the dial and lume. Nice idea to showcase up and coming watches.👍
Thanks alot Chris! Loved having the chance to check out the Komodo and the stand is an awesome idea I'll be getting lots of use out of. So appreciative of everything. Cheers:)

Watch out! one of the screw in one of the links is coming loose! Great watch, i have the black one and i am impressed
I did catch that when editing the video. Thanks though. I was really impressed too. The black version looks great. Cheers :)

Just looking at your channel now. Subscribed and I'll definitely check out some videos soon:)
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces My dive computer has quit way more often than my dive watch...
Great watch and even better review 👍👍
Thanks man!
Helm makes some very nice watches for the price. I have -a Vanatau, which is similar to this but a little larger. The bracelets are really nice.
I was really happy with it. Definitely a solid watch and looks great too.
Looks a bit thick but good looking watch !
It's a little on the chunky side but nice watch. Thanks.
This is my second visit with this watch I'm hoping to get one when available !
Like the review. Love the watch. But like you, the only way to get one is if someone lends you theirs. Better odds getting a Rolex Daytona than a white Komodo. One day...
Yeah they don't tend to pop up preowned very often. Great watch though. Thanks:)
Seems a great value diver !
I felt the same way. Really liked the look too. Thanks!

Bob made me do it.
Now on the wait list for a Komodo. Next I'll have to get a Kamasu...
@@JurgenADV Lol. Hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think when it comes in :)
Where was the Watch made?
I believe Hong Kong.
