I cannot believe the invicta pro diver is not on this. Yeah it is kinda lame ( i love mine tbh had it for years and beat the hell out of it) but it is a watch that many, many people get their start on.
Timex is an homage watch so that should have opened the door to other homages as well like the invicta pro diver, the Steinhart watches or even the San Martin watches. It is funny how some brands get roasted for homages and others get a pass.
Steeldive and Addiesdive Submariners have Japanese Miyota Quartz or Seiko Automatic movs,Sapphire crystal, ceramic bizel and a great Lume. They're better than Invictas and Casio Duros. (I own both of them)
Ginault ocean rover II. I think it still qualifies as affordable. $1,499 for the no date model. Date with cyclops and blue ceramic bezel is the most expensive version at $1,799
Lorier would be a great watch if it had a sapphire crystal. Without it, this watch is a joke. Therefore, if someone likes the Lorier but, like me, can't understand why it doesn't have a sapphire crystal they should choose the BALTIC Aquascaphe Classic.
Why is it a joke? It's based on vintage design that uses acrylic crystal. They're actually better for tool watches technically as they don't shatter like Sapphire crystal can.
It’s definitely not a joke. They’re actually being faithful to the vintage aesthetic & design. Besides that, hesalite has objectively better qualities over sapphire - the primary being that it’s harder to shatter, but it’s also less reflective. I bought a different vintage style watch after my Lorier and hardly wear it because the sapphire crystal looks much worse to me. If I’m buying a watch for vintage aesthetics I want it to be true to that.
They also sell the Moonwatch with a sapphire crystal because some people don't care THAT much about faithfulness to vintage. Not a Lorier fan but a sapphire crystal should be an option. I understand why they don't since they're a smaller brand, but it would still be nice
@Antenox for sure, but the commenter said that it was a "joke" for nit habing access sapphire crystal. I'm just pointing out that it not having a sapphire crystal doesn't make it any joke as other expensive brands do the same thing and still charge thousands for it
The one thing I don't understand is why Seiko fanboys get so upset when you refer to them as Fake-ariners, Faketonas and Fakexplorers. I mean the brands aren't trying to hide the fact that they are copying the Rolex design and selling a cheaper product.
Seiko is probably trying to school people on that kind of design is easily obtainable at much lower price. Seiko has their own luxury watches line up with much better finishings and attention to detail

I kinda don't like how much the latest ocean king looks like a sub and lacks it's own design identity, but I suppose that's a strength here
Longines hydroconquest
I cannot believe the invicta pro diver is not on this. Yeah it is kinda lame ( i love mine tbh had it for years and beat the hell out of it) but it is a watch that many, many people get their start on.
its a homage watch which has no identity whatsoever
SEIKO SNE597, period
Solid rec 🫡 So many good Seikos
Timex is an homage watch so that should have opened the door to other homages as well like the invicta pro diver, the Steinhart watches or even the San Martin watches. It is funny how some brands get roasted for homages and others get a pass.
Timex miyota 😂😅😅
Bb54 looks better
Bb54
But I super clone. Take it from someone who tried. If you want a submariner none of these watches will be what you want.
That guy needs to get a manicure my goodness LOL
Steeldive and Addiesdive Submariners have Japanese Miyota Quartz or Seiko Automatic movs,Sapphire crystal, ceramic bizel and a great Lume.
They're better than Invictas and Casio Duros. (I own both of them)
The tattoos are very distracting. Recommend you have someone else model the watches in the future.
Get a steinhart

Wheres the other guy with the stoner voice?
am i the first?
No...
Ginault ocean rover II. I think it still qualifies as affordable. $1,499 for the no date model. Date with cyclops and blue ceramic bezel is the most expensive version at $1,799
Is this just a dude reading a ChatGPT prompt?
No. We’re a small team of humans, spending a lot of time reviewing gear we’re passionate about 🫡
Lorier would be a great watch if it had a sapphire crystal.
@XxCrankyMoosexX 💯 agree. They sell the modern Speedmaster Moonwatch with a hesalite crystal for the very reasons you have highlighted.
I'm just pointing out that it not having a sapphire crystal doesn't make it any joke as other expensive brands do the same thing and still charge thousands for it
Just get any San Martin homage and save lots of $$$
They belong in the bin 😂
@chaoseus I guess you never handled one to come up with such an atrocious answer.. lol
The one thing I don't understand is why Seiko fanboys get so upset when you refer to them as Fake-ariners, Faketonas and Fakexplorers. I mean the brands aren't trying to hide the fact that they are copying the Rolex design and selling a cheaper product.
Seiko makes so many watches they’re bound to have some design language crossover. Same as any other brand. It’s not that seriois
Seiko is probably trying to school people on that kind of design is easily obtainable at much lower price. Seiko has their own luxury watches line up with much better finishings and attention to detail
Grab any chinese homage or clone and your are done for 30 bucks
Tattoos! Nope.
POOR MAN'S RLX SUB
Great selection, the Unimatic vibes are where it’s at for me 🫶
