Thanks to drewski along with you and the rest of the squad tubers, I got into squad. I still have a long way to go and learn how everything works but I've been doing well. This map is also the very same map that I had one of those moments in squad. Where we get destroyed at the beginning then with solid teamwork, we won. So yeah. I love squad from a newbie perspective :>
@@IbnWobbler like how I can f'up a helicopter landing? I play on a laptop so my quality of play is completely bugger :> also I don't want to cost my team 15 tickets for nothing. But then again, I won't learn if I don't try so eh.
I was hooked into the video with that first helicopter drop -- it was so "cinematic" it felt like I was watching a movie. The final hilltop battle felt like something out of "Platoon." Finally, your reaction to Mike near the end was perfect! I haven't laughed that hard for a long time! Thank you!! And thanks to the guys on the teams for doing such a great job -- I hope some of them end up seeing this video.
I was a SL on Canada and this was by far my best game of squad, loved playing with everyone on that team. Squad is so much fun when everyone works together and communicates!!
Thats how you win and unlike project reality where if you didnt do that you would lose straight up, that is fairly uncommon in squad i would love to get folks together and have all of us squad lead and lock down a server buts its rough finding good guys you know
That Canadian radio tower push looked so well coordinated. HE mortars, smoke mortars followed by the arty barrage and everyone pushing in. Those are the matches you are looking for in Squad. Kudos to the commander and the reciprocating SLs.
It was a very good game, I have to admit that the insurgents played well with their iron sights and it cost a lot at the beginning, thanks for recording this game moi!!
This video format is the best way to watch squad gameplay. I've been following the series ever since the first Eye in the sky video and MoiDawg is a great commenter and presenter. However, this particular video is now my favorite! What an amazing watch! I dream of the day I will be a part of a team like the Canadians here. Awesome!
Playing this game can be much frustration or pure ephoria. I had a evening recently, where I played 3-4 rounds, where 9 out 10 times I never saw the enemy that killed me. Sometimes you just hit those days where you get ninja killed from everywhere. - Do players lower graphics for better visual spotting of enemies? - Do players often have high FOV in Squad? I'm a veteran Project Reality player and love how Squad is coming together. Only thing I hate about Squad in the moment is the mounted MGs not needing cool down. I hate the sound of unpaused MG firing. It breakse the immersion for me :)
Lowering graphics is a thing, but makes very little difference to spotting as of the recent patches. It isn't like it used to be. No, always 90 FOV (which is fairly wide anyway). Wider than that messes up the scopes anyway.
Mini-me and WHO? What was that name again?!? My Kawk (keeping it kid safe).... ALMOST spit my drink all over my desk as soon as you said that, and then hearing the.. "oh... okay..." I can see the look on your face!!! :D :D :D
Best gameplay so far! Love the eye in the sky content. Really gets a great POV on how to approach OBJ’s and viable strategies. Real good stuff! Need more invasion videos!
That beginning assault is very on brand for the IRL Canadian Army, in WW1 and WW2 they were known as Shock Troops by the Germans and feared 2nd only to the Russians for the level of their furious assaults, often made even deadlier by expert marksmen and danger-close artillery support
Man, I miss pc...PC... Really enjoy the commentary. Makes the small actions, palatable. I don't have to keep eyes glued to the screen to see what's going on.
First time i have seen this game. Looks great, and with commentary and camera panning is really enjoyable to watch. Might get this myself. Is it still popular ? have i missed the boat?
I wish they would add destruction to this game. As far as building etcs when being hit by arti or whatever else and ability for vehicles to drive through stuff, espcially tanks. Then if you could have the ability to dig trenches or even foxholes it would push this game over the top I think.
It would be really cool if you could do an eye in the sky round that goes more in depth for new players. As a returning player much of what I learned has been changed and am back at square one regarding knowledge.
I belong to this area, kohat Pakistan. Just some points I want to mention: - World’s best hash is grown in this area - All weapons made in Pakistan are made in Kohat, when South Asia didn’t have many factories to make weapons. My ancestors were building machines to build weapons, even today, Kohat is the hub of illegal weapons ~ at least in world’s eye - The best Kabab is from Kohat ~ only made in Kohat - Weapons are in our culture and not to spread violence, obviously the weapon is not wrong until the user uses it wrong. - My people are very welcoming, my grandmother wrote a book in Pastho (local language). He mentioned back in 80s, the elder of our village took loan to sponsor a group of some 10 hippies from UK, it took him 3 years to pay back that loan. Good times Hilly mountains of kohat are home to many innocent people hiding from the government for crimes they didn’t even commit. No go zone is kohat region as all hideouts are connected to each other via radio. To enter you need support from locals to pre informs and listen to stories that will amaze you!
Bruh the way infantry can just bully tracked MPC's or tanks without boots on the ground is hilarious 😂 Like you really can't see worth a dime in such heavy vehicles 🙈
Someone should make esl squad league and made those kind of spectator translations but with teams that actually teamplay and have some tactics. Maybe even 1 life mod (only bandage revive allowed)
T62 should not counterattack the last objective directly rather take higher position on the hill to the East and provide frag shelling from the distance.
18:30 is a clear example of why you SHOULD NOT spam smoke on tracked vehicles. All you're doing is obscuring the target for AT. You should throw one or two of the same colored smoke in the vicinity just as reference for your teammates. Honestly if youre gonna spam smoke, it's best to throw it near yourself and say "enemy armor is near red smoke, be careful as friendlies are concealed in the smoke".
It’s not as clear-cut as that. If you don’t know if you have AT support, popping smoke closer to the threat vehicle cuts off more of its vision so you can disengage better than if you throw smoke close (which can let the vehicle know roughly where you are).
"All you're doing is obscuring the target" have you ever been in vehicle? getting smoked while immobile makes you useless and just sitting duck, any good at will still shoot you, there are many ways around it like spamming ftl mark to find the vehicle trough smoke etc. if you smoke your self i will just splash the smoke with he
