30:33 that comment about using local comms is absolute facts. I find that if you start using local for everything, and only squad comms for larger, more relevant info, thats when teamwork and teamplay starts getting really good. You bring the people around you, who are in your situation with you, into the thought process and start working as a team instead of an individual, and your teamplay and performance will improve. People fall into this habit of only using squad comms, and it leads to really spread out squads, and people kinda zoning out. When you hear a guy in local going, "there's a guy, 2nd floor, right window" you shut up and go "oh shit" it brings you into the moment if you're not already in and people stop being blueberries and start being teammates
dude when i SL i mostly use local, and ive gotten yelled at so much from my own squad for not saying more than where to go and to set up, but its exactly what you said. teamwork comes from local chat imo.
That push from about 22:20 onward is exactly why squad is squad. The fight for survival, epic covering fire, close quarters combat, epic medic play, epic artillery support....just so so good! EDIT: Oh gosh, the entire rest of the match was also amazing!
I love the longer episodes! It doesn’t even feel that long with your commentary and the constant action of different areas in the battlefield. Definitely the best way to do the eye in the sky videos which are indeed my favorite
Great eye in the sky episode. I really don't care how long the episodes are if they're going to be as action packed as this one! I also really appreciate when you turn on the team colors more often. It can sometimes be really difficult to tell who is who in most combat situations without it, especially if you have a very zoomed out view of the battlefield. It also makes it easier to tell who is inside structures, giving us a better idea of just how full a compound or building is. As someone who primarily watches on mobile, it is the difference between knowing what's going on or just watching a bunch of ants shoot guns at each other. Appreciate it Moi!
I once bounced a grenade off the roof between western courtyard and eastern courtyard in walled courts on Sumari bala - right into the doorway of the side room with the half-shut door to kill an MG camping the north entrance by the broken wall. Felt good, for sure - but totally not planned. Even though I'll always claim it was 🤣
Awesome game to be a part of! Cool to see my HMG save in there too. Thank you for taking the effort to make these, gives the same game I was part of a whole new perspective!
I just can't get enough of SQUAD right now. Watching videos during the day then playing the game at night. I've been playing for years now and it just keeps getting better.
This is the second video of yours that I've seen. As a newish player it really helps to see what the game looks like from a strategic view compared to the tactical FPS level. There isn't a lot of training on what the maps are about, the modes, the cap points, how tickets materials work, etc.. Thanks so much, I shall binge and learn!
I remember watching this live it was a super entertaining match. Watching the lonely sapper try to chase down the tank and kill it had me ripping my hair out 😂
This was excellently done by the insurgents. They withdrew to strong defensive positions, but did not cede the territory unnecessarily. The insurgent team was on its way to rout, and the other team felt it, but once they were inside the city, the Australian force could never move anywhere safely because of insurgent HABs within the city. It was rare they could get anything of force inside the objective for long, because the insurgent team kept being persistent.
I do enjoy the long videos, they keep me entertained at work. The commentary is great that I can just listen and understand what's happening and still be entertained by it. 👍🏽
Squad is one of the main reasons I purchased my first PC. Early videos of this game were unlike anything I saw in online gaming. They have just continued to outdo themselves over and over. So glad this game is getting it’s time in the spotlight.
Excellent content. This is exactly what I always wanted to see. It really shows how battle lines and front lines are pushed, how territory is won and lost, and how all of the players' individual and independent actions culminate into an epic battle. What server is this on? Excellent coordination by both teams.
i love the eye in the sky series!!! it would be amazing to have a few people on cameras if possible to cut together multiple angles and catch more of the action
Yes to long form videos. I just recently found you and started watching, they are def already the longest videos i watch so i tend to watch when i have lots of free time (2-3 hours) so longer the better.
Really enjoy your vids man, you do a great job with these, and the ones where you squad lead are really cool too. I think one of the biggest reasons I like watch ng your content is that you don’t take it too seriously. You’re there having fun won or lose. Great example for a really big generation of toxic gamers 😊
Eye in The Sky vids are awesome and super entertaining to watch. The long battels are great viewing and you call it like a sports commentator. Keep it up, mate. Aussie viewer.
Love the longer content. I'm able to have a better view of what transposed through clips better. I like to see the build up and think of it tactically as I watch so more is better. Thanks for the content m8.
Hahahaha I love it, reminds me Turtle AI xD, pls keep them comming, this eye in the sky format is a breath of fresh air, no matter how long they are ;)
I know it's a bit late, but I enjoy the longer videos. For me, the idea that the show is going to be 55 mins to an hour means that we are going to see a hell of a battle. Not been disappointed yet.
insurgents faction need a buff to compensate and balance the fights, probably an ability to detonate the IED at any time by a dedicated button for that, or providing them with scopes and grips to reduce the recoil and have a fair accuracy.
They have all of this already lmao(the insurgent and militia sapper class ied uses a cell phone detonator that when pressed activates the bomb after a 3 second delay you can also have 5 out at once to gurantee anything dies, they also get an at mine atleast 5 can be out, rocks to bait enemies or conceal explosives, and a 30 sec tnt,)also they get a scopes mosin for insurgents, scoped sks,and scoped ak although its hard to use, they also get svd, also some of the insrugent and milita guns have grips, also milita can a cqb scope m4
I love when people play a insurgent or militia faction and actually fight like so where it’s all about attrition mobility and using the enemies numbers and tech against them.
28:06 - "our journey to victory has begun!"
It's guys like these that keep my morale up, mad props to this absolute legend
Spoilers
Sad to know how this ends though almost like the actual cod mission
the journey: 53:35
Like the longer content for eye in the sky. Would prefer that to see all of the action too!
Same

It also increases the significance and importance of things that eventually are communicated on squad net so people actually listen to it.
@@adamanderson3042 yep 1000%
dude when i SL i mostly use local, and ive gotten yelled at so much from my own squad for not saying more than where to go and to set up, but its exactly what you said. teamwork comes from local chat imo.
Honestly 45min to an hour are perfect for eye in the sky.
That push from about 22:20 onward is exactly why squad is squad. The fight for survival, epic covering fire, close quarters combat, epic medic play, epic artillery support....just so so good!
EDIT: Oh gosh, the entire rest of the match was also amazing!
That was incredibly entertaining. What a round of Squad.
I love seeing the small moments that contribute to the overall conclusion of the game. Austrailians were really fun to watch in this match.
Yeah imagine all the small epic moments we miss out on simply because we can’t see everything in the battlefield 🥲
I love the longer episodes! It doesn’t even feel that long with your commentary and the constant action of different areas in the battlefield. Definitely the best way to do the eye in the sky videos which are indeed my favorite
21:13 that absolute whiff of anIED trap has simulated the loss of a firstborn for me, as a supper main on insurgents. Absolute tragedy.
Great eye in the sky episode. I really don't care how long the episodes are if they're going to be as action packed as this one!

16:40 THE BEST grenade in the history of squad. Bounces of the roof to take out the dshk gunner.
I once bounced a grenade off the roof between western courtyard and eastern courtyard in walled courts on Sumari bala - right into the doorway of the side room with the half-shut door to kill an MG camping the north entrance by the broken wall.

that was rad af bro
That insurgent RPG shoot on the heli was awesome!
I just can't get enough of SQUAD right now. Watching videos during the day then playing the game at night. I've been playing for years now and it just keeps getting better.
I love Invasion and the Eye in the Sky format. More of that stuff pls.
I just cannot get enough of these Eye in the Sky. Just fantastic. They have it all, action, tension, heart ache and loughs. Brilliant.
That MG sniping the SPG Gunner was an epic battlefield hero moment🙌
This is awesome, the commentary is like a hockey game with 100 players, you've gotta put more of this type of content out, it's just great.
45:19 the moment he KNEW.... He fooked up 😆😭😭😂😂
This is best way to observe a war game; even before playing it. You can learn a lot. Great job narrating this fun video... I like it very much.
I enjoy 45 to an 1 hour of gameplay. Really gives others a chance to see teamwork at its best and worst.
I love the entire series! You definitely have that pro caster voice/energy!
Hey Moi! I love this series, I wouldn't mind longer videos as long as you're doing as good of a job as you're doing now!
Loving the longer eye in the sky content.
Long videos rock! I get to spend all day at work watching it. I can watch it on break, lunch and evening break :D
This is the second video of yours that I've seen. As a newish player it really helps to see what the game looks like from a strategic view compared to the tactical FPS level. Aerial view is incredibly entertaining, wp dude !
I remember watching this live it was a super entertaining match. Watching the lonely sapper try to chase down the tank and kill it had me ripping my hair out 😂
he gave the tank a real scare tho
The Aussie advance at the beginning was very well done.
Wut about ins defence?
This was excellently done by the insurgents. They withdrew to strong defensive positions, but did not cede the territory unnecessarily. This series is awesome. Really enjoyable to watch. I never watch streamers, this is just great.
All of your eye in the sky videos are amazing dude, your commentary and enthusiasm really sells it well.
"Never IED alone" 😂🤣🤣 Well I'll keep that in mind in my day to day 🤣
I love the long invasions. Honestly it’s like watching a movie for me !
Excellent content. This is exactly what I always wanted to see. It really shows how battle lines and front lines are pushed, how territory is won and lost, and how all of the players' individual and independent actions culminate into an epic battle.

Moidawg, 8 minutes in: this might actually be a quick game
Me, checking the time stamp: hmmmmmmmmm
i love the eye in the sky series!!! it would be amazing to have a few people on cameras if possible to cut together multiple angles and catch more of the action

RIP Dr. Toboggan, we'll always remember your magnum dong.
Imagine being able to watch any historical battle like this.
Dan Carlin shares your dream
I freaking love this series!! Please moi- moarrrr!!
The attack/defense of the bridge was insane. What a match
Dude the way you were commentating like a sports announcer had me rolling lmao
Perfect eye in the sky. My favorite game of squad was attacking an island super fob all of us shoveling across the bridge.
Hahahaha I love it, reminds me Turtle AI xD, pls keep them comming, this eye in the sky format is a breath of fresh air, no matter how long they are ;)
I personally love the longer eye in the sky videos
Would love to see an event where there are no weaponized vehicles but helicopters and only logi trucks, might make for a cool eye in the sky vid
Following the guys through the building was pretty cool, more o dat! You don't see a lot of room clearing.
i got a good laugh when the IEDs finally exploded. A good hardy laugh
45:18 perfect timing!! 🤣🤣🤣
Battle of the bridge was intense!
I like these eye in the sky videos. Well done.
This is like Saturday night sports on tv, love it!
Love this content! Some of my favorite videos on UA-cam! Your commentary is amazing
I know it's a bit late, but I enjoy the longer videos. For me, the idea that the show is going to be 55 mins to an hour means that we are going to see a hell of a battle. Not been disappointed yet.

Long videos are great . I love ur content!!
