Camel expedition. Part 18. Pack saddle preparations.

We make the decision to trailer in to Tom Price where we start preparing camels to carry loads. In the old days some camels would carry up to 500 kgs day after day. So we start with Mr.Grey carrying our spare tyres around the arena here at Tom Price. We also hand make some saddle bags for carrying jerrycans of water and start the process of training the camels to carry loads. this section of the journey is in the heart of mining central so we are transporting through this section and will continue the walk with the loaded string of pack camels once we hit Marble Bar.
