I found out ab Tramontina from youtuber Colhane. He taught outdoor skills etc years like 15 yrs ago, disappeared from YT for a while, turns out it was to go win a season of Alone..?? He lives in Brazil and showed how to modify and use the 14" Tramontina. Great teacher. I learned alot. I bought 3 of them and they are still going strong.
For an amazing coincidence, I also bought 12 inches machete. We cost about 600 rubles, which is slightly less than $ 10. Now I have the largest and smallest. The machete itself was not sharpened as good as yours. I had to work for several hours with a diamond file. Solid steel. It feels like this machete is easier than 26 inch at about 230 g. The speed is much higher. I will compare them to understand which is more convenient for me.
One of my fathers coworkers is Colombian and he said tramontina is king in the south americas because they are affordable sharpen well and he said they last a life time they do nothing but chop trees vines
Good little knife. Ive got 2 of those. I do still prefer my 16" blade though. Not too long, not too short...just how I like em' (thats what she said)lol
That Tramontina ring is hard to beat. Even the 12” sings like a bird. I never get sick of hearing it.
I love me a thooper tharp knife.😉😂
i used tramontina 13.5 for hiking and camping. i love the featherlite weight....greeting from Malaysia !
