I only have on full coverage piece on the go and that is enough for me for now. As I watch your progress on all your lovely pieces, that may change! I am drawn to the Stitching Shelf so that may be my next one. Thanks for the stitchpiration.
I can see why you've only completed 2 projects. The projects you choose are very challenging but sooo beautiful. Love your taste. That Grand Library is awesome. You've inspired me to try at least one major project. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more videos.
WOW you much braver than I am. I could never do any of those full coverage pieces you are working on but love the book ones. I have problems seeing anything but 14 count so that's what I use. I do small pieces but I really enjoy stitching again. I started back in the mid 80's and took a 17 year break. My husband passed in 2021 and I just couldn't do any quilting at the time. I watched some floss tubes and got hooked again. I look for to seeing more of your videos and seeing your progress.
I’m so sorry for your loss Joyce. I hope you have found some comfort and joy in picking up this hobby again. I am definitely most comfortable seeing 18 count even if I can now technically see on a smaller count, it is still sometimes a little more challenging.
Welcome! I enjoyed your first wip parade and am nearly across the first 1 and 1/2 shelves of the Stitch in Time Max colors. You really move at your stitching rate. I've been trying just to get 100 stitches in 6 days a week' so 600 a week, and sometimes do 200 a day if I'm working ahead but I've been at mine for 3 years now as of Mar. It is so much confetti for the most part bur I'm determined to finish one HAED in my lifetime. Thanks for the encouragement just sharing all yours. Best wishes on them all. I only do smaller pieces when camping with the family so I try to work ahead on my HAED so I don't fall behind on it. I'm looking forward to the summer and switching projects for that time. Thanks for sharing and I'll be watching!
Hiii! 😃 UA-cam recommended this video to me today, and oh my goodness... My jaw dropped when I saw your beautiful Grand Library WIP. Hello fellow HAED lover! 💙🩵 Glad to have found your channel.
Welcome to Floss tube! I thoroughly enjoyed your 1st one and can't wait to see the next one. I am getting ready to restart my first HAED - All Dogs go to Heaven Two - 25 ct Easy Grid is not my thing, I tried three times and it was not pretty. I admire those that can stitch on it. I have gone out and purchased a large piece of 20 ct Easy Grid Aida and when I saw your large one on 18 count I was super happy! Thanks for sharing and look forward to seeing your progress on you next Floss Tube!
Congratulations on your 1st flosstube...your a natural!! Your projects are so beautiful and you've made awesome progress. Looking forward to seeing many, many more videos ❤ Hope you have a great week and enjoy whatever your stitching on. I also love books 📚 I subscribed and rang the bell 🔔.
Hello from Petaluma! I love the “book” projects you have. Those are ones I would never do because they are so gigantic and I would not have the patience but I think the colors are gorgeous so that probably makes it very much worth it and keeps it interesting. The light blues in your craft room are an absolute dream to me! Looking forward to your other videos. ❤
Welcome to flosstube! I really like your WIPs and to be honest, you have made me wanting some of the patterns you're working on!😂 I am looking forward to seeing your progress😊 Happy stitching!
Hi! Welcome to Flosstube. I really enjoyed your video. You're stitching on some beautiful projects. I'm stitching Grand Library too, the SSMC version, which I have started the middle 🙂 Looking forward to seeing your progress in your next video ❤❤
I’m so glad your videos came up in my suggestions list today!! I LOVE full coverage & knew I would love your channel. And you have some really unique patterns that I haven’t seen before. I am also doing A Stitching Shelf. I am using a paper pattern so I can only estimate that I am about 1/3 finished. I have Farewell to anger but haven’t started it yet. I have 4 HAEDs on the go right now. Thank you for your channel & now O will go watch the rest of your videos & get caught up! Kim from Canada 🇨🇦
Loved your first video! I'm another serial starter who is also a process stitcher. Our tastes are *very* similar, so it was great to see your patterns - I have several of the same ones! You have great taste. 😉 Looking forward to watching on a regular basis!
So glad I stumbled on your first Floss Tube. I love Aimee Stewart Puzzles. And I love books. Had no idea there were cross stitch patterns. I have never done a full coverage but I guess I have to now. LOL. Thank you for the enabling(enablement?).
Great Flosstube!!! Love your full coverage projects. I have found I like 20 count 2 over 1 for full coverage. I need to try one with tent stitching. Charting Creations is one of my favorites.
Hello, loved your WIPs. You sure have some big pieces there that are going to take some time to do. I have to admit the process is what I find enjoyable too. I had never heard of 3/1tent stitch on 25 count but it sure looks lovely. So I may give that a try too. Looking forward to seeing your next video. Have a great stitch time until then.
Hi and welcome to FlossTube. Your projects are beautiful. Don’t know if I could ever do a full coverage piece, especially as big as what you are doing. Can’t wait for your next video and seeing your progress.
Welcome to flosstube! Wow you have phenomenal WIPS. i ADORE your Bordas. Gorgeous. The extreme cross country on Night Circus is fantastic. Wow. I need to get back to mine❤❤❤ Look forward to your next video
I always love meeting another 'serial starter'. You're not alone! Your stitching is gorgeous and your first video was great. Looking forward to watching more.
Wonderful first flosstube! I love all your projects and I’m partial to full coverage too. I have subscribed and I look forward to your future videos. Happy stitching to you.
Loved all your patterns! Excited to see more videos. I kept having to pause to write stuff down 😂 I’ve been wanting to dive in on some of your wips but wanting to go slow as I am a new stitcher. I am working on a HAED for my first. Mini Village Bookstore by Randal Spangler.
Hello from the UK. AimeeStewart has a lot to answer for!! I am stitching one of her designs, Readers Paradise, max colours , I sometimes wonder if I will live long enough to finish it!
Welcome to Flosstube! I love all your WIPs, I especially like your plan for the Kingdom of Books as the titles are such an important part of the design it makes sense they should reflect you (and be readable!)
Great job on your first floss tube!🎉 I look forward to watching your progress. I would enjoy learning more about your process (starting/ending threads, cross country and tent stitch). Thank you. I went to P.S. I went to college outside of Sacramento and live in the North Bay. My stash is ‘cuckoo fir Cocoa Puffs’ too. 😂😂
Love your first video and projects. I love full coverage. You sent me down a rabbit hole with The Sewing Shop! The have some amazing unique patterns, had to buy a few 😅
Wow! Your projects are stunning! I'd love to hear what 13 titles are your favorites for the book Kingdom piece. Welcome to floss tube! I'm looking forward to your next video. Thanks for having the courage to begin.
Welcome to FlossTube. Nice job with your first video. I like all your WIPs and looking forward to watching your progress on them. I also got "shelf envy" looking at your beautiful color coordinated shelves and storage bins. I just recently purposed a shelving unit and storage bins (a solid and a print) from IKEA, but now may want to go back for storage bins in the same solid color vs what I purchased - for the more clean, calming aesthetic I see behind you. Take care and keep stitching!
Wow amazing work! You make me want to make a video with my stuff I just started back up again a bit ago so I don't have much but having a video would be cool to see progress! Keep up the good work!
I was watching Sarah's Stitchy Spot's latest floss tube and she mentioned your fabric AND that you had a floss tube. I knew about the fabric thanks to Stitching By the Shore (and rushed to buy a piece which shipped out today!), so here I am. Great first video. Looking forward to seeing all that you've done. Steph in NJ
I love the full coverage pieces and am amazed at the number of stitches you get in each month. I also love books and have the Kingdom of Books pattern. I will take you up on your suggestion of changing the titles. I'm thinking I will put in the titles of all the classic books I've read.
Thank you for sharing! You do lovely work, and it is inspiring me to start my one and only HAED. I didn’t know what I was getting into when I ordered it, but it’s a beautiful one, and now I know it will still be pretty if I go with tent stitches on 25 count. Looking forward to future videos from you! Happy stitching!
Wow! Your projects are amazing! I’m intrigued by your stitching, choices and craft journey! I started very young too…wanting to make everything and now mainly love cross stitching and quilting. I’m working on one HAED, The Stitching Shelf and would like to know more detail on how you are stitching your projects! Great job on your first showing!
Hi Lynn! Wonderful job on your first Flosstube! I LOVE all the full coverage, and the Aimee Stewart designs are gorgeous! Thanks for mentioning my channel :) I have subscribed and I am looking forward to your next video! Happy stitching and Happy Easter
I just found your channel and have subscribed after watching it. I love full coverage projects so I really did enjoy your WIPs and I look forward to seeing the progress that you make in the future. Happy stitching…………
Welcome to Flosstube! I am always in awe of stitchers who work on pieces that are full coverage like HAED's. I don't think I would have the patience, but the pieces you're working on are lovely. And finally another stitcher from northern CA! I'm about 45 minutes north of Sacramento. It's nice to see sun shining again for a change.
Loved your first video…I, too, must be a process stitcher as I have a lot more WIPS than finishes😂..but that’s ok..it’s a hobby and I’m thoroughly enjoying myself! I will be looking forward to seeing your next video…happy stitching!
Hi Lyn, welcome to flosstube, so glad you have taken the plunge and joined our community. You have some amazing projects and look forward to seeing them in future videos. Take care and happy stitching from Judy in NZ
Nice to meet you! It's great to hear about all the different projects you've been working on, and your commitment to developing your skills. It's clear you have a real passion for this craft and all other fabric-based crafts too, and I'm excited to see where your journey will take you - good luck with the Harry Potter-themed gift too! I always run out of steam on gifts 😂
Welcome to flosstube! Yay for another full coverage stitcher. Your wips are awesome! Looking forward to watching your progress & getting to know you. Take care. & 💕
Fabulous first video 😀. Love all your projects❤️. Also love all the stats!. Your craft room is soooo tidy, I wish mine was lol. Looking forward to seeing your progress next time. Stay safe and well🤗🇬🇧
Thanks so much! 😊I had to be clever with my camera placement so I didn't show the mess on my workspace/desk. The cabinets behind me stay pretty tidy but my workspace is definitely well used!.
I loved seeing Night Circus as I just recently discovered The Sewing Shop. Always excited to see well made full coverage charts. And absolutely loved seeing all of yours - great choices and lovely pieces 😍
Welcome to Flosstube!!! I like your choices of projects. I’m mainly a full coverage stitcher who has found tent stitch as well. And I’m starting to look at Modern Folk Embroidery, Ink Circles and Long Dog Samplers now…keep it up😊
I enjoyed your video so much! What beautiful work - I'm very inspired by the idea of 3 over 1 tent stitch. I have The Stitching Shelf sitting here waiting to be started but can't decide whether to take the plunge on 25 count or stick to my usual 20 count Aida 2 over 1 full cross (so it'll be huge). The idea of the 3 over 1 to get the coverage also makes me think the slippage of the stitches may be reduced - I'm an in hand stitcher, sewing method. Congratulations on your first Flosstube and can't wait to see your progress! All the best, Claire
Thanks Claire! I have definitely tried many sizes and many different combos of stitches and it’s taken me a while to figure out what works for me. Good luck with your new start!
Lovely! Surprised you don’t use the parking method when you stitch these large pieces! I have a full coverage that I stitch cross-country too but am seriously thinking of trying the other method. After some practice, of course!
I’ve tried it a few times and just don’t like it. I think part of it is because rethreading my needle is one of my least favorite parts of stitching. I really wish I could learn to like parking but can’t seem to get my brain to adjust!
I really enjoyed watching your video. I love what you’re working on. I think it’s amazing that you as well as others can work on really large full coverage projects. Amazing. I have some full coverage projects. I’m working on my first one and I’m trying to find my way with it. Not easy. But i really want to get into it. I am working on Karla Gerard piece. It’s different and whimsical to me. Maybe I should learn tent stitch. I’m looking forward to seeing all your progress. 🎉🤠
Hi Melba. Best of luck to you. Don't be afraid to try different methods or different approaches to how you are stitching to try and find your groove. It's taken me a while to find mine and I still alter it depending on what my mood is for the day or if I feel like a need to change things up a bit to keep me motivated! Happy stitching.
Congratulations on your first Flosstube! You did a great job. I don’t do full coverage pieces, but I always enjoy watching those who do - your pieces are stunning. ❤
Hey there, I love all of your work. My favorite is the night circus. In doing full coverage, have you noticed that a difference in confetti stitches from different company's ? Or do you prefer any one of the different designers more than the others and if so, why ? Wonderful first video. Happy stitching......Pam
Thanks Pam! I think I have noticed more confetti based on patterns with lots of colors more than based on a specific designer. But that’s an interesting question. I may have to go back and look through some of my patterns and see if I can see a difference by designer!
Enjoyed the full coverage pieces! The library is beautiful and your progress is amazing. Congratulations on your first flosstube. I also published my first flosstube this week so I hope you’ll give me a watch! ❤
Hi Mary Lou. Yes, I use Pattern Keeper for everything I showed except Kingdom of Books. It was a total game changer! The Kingdom of Books Pattern is paper and I am definitely having trouble switching my brain back to following paper patterns, even though that's all I did for 30+ years and have only had Pattern Keeper for a little over a year.
Awesome job on your first flosstube video. And YESSSS, I’m so so grateful that you are mostly a full coverage flosstuber. I’ve got 12 full coverage pieces in my rotation. Plus I have Pandemic and The Village of Hawk Run Hollow on some scroll frames. I’m currently working on Tilton Crafts Realm of Middle Earth XL chart on 28 count doing a mixture of continental tent stitch as well as tent stitch. I’m working diagonally on 10x10 blocks and I’m enjoying the process. Do you do yours by doing continental tent or just plain half cross tent stitch? I’m looking forward to your next progress video. I loved all your art choices. You’re working on some great ones!
Hi Clara. I am a mixture of both tent and continental. As I go row by row, I try to start my stitch in whatever hole is open, so it works out to be tent one direction and continental the other direction. But on a Stitching Shelf, where there are a lot more confetti stitches, it's more random.
Hi. I’m at about 50% on ‘A Stitch in Time’ by Aimee Stewart and it’s slow-going for me. I’m so impressed with how many full coverage projects you’ve started!! Kudos to you. The confetti slows me down but the rich colors and details keep me going. Your Grand Library is just lovely.
Welcome! I love all the full coverage pieces you are stitching. Happy Stitching! 🧵🪡

Your Grand Library is looking so amazing!
I had to pause & hunt down the Window in Springtime pattern. I've never heard of Charting Creations, Thank you for introducing me to a new shop 🥰💐
Welcome! I enjoyed your first wip parade and am nearly across the first 1 and 1/2 shelves of the Stitch in Time Max colors. You really move at your stitching rate. Welcome to FlossTube! I love all of your projects. It is inspiring me to get my full coverage projects back out.
You have so many beautiful projects. I really enjoyed your first video. Thank you and happy stitching! (We have some projects the same 😊)
I enjoyed your video so much!
Thanks for sharing! I’m a full coverage stitcher, too, so that’s what I enjoy watching. You should definitely do a WIP parade soon. 😊
Beautiful projects. Love seeing full coverage as that’s what I stitch the most of.
Congratulations on your first Flosstube! You did a great job. I don’t do full coverage pieces, but I always enjoy watching those who do - your pieces are stunning. ❤
Great job and I love all the full coverage so fun!
I’m doing Mirabella by HAED on 18 count, full cross, 2 over 1. Don’t restart your girl, she will look fabulous!!!
Awesome job 😎
You did great! Love all the full coverage
Enjoyed the full coverage pieces! The library is beautiful and your progress is amazing. Congratulations on your first flosstube. I also published my first flosstube this week so I hope you’ll give me a watch! ❤
Thank you!
Welcome ! Great job ! Do you have pattern keeper for you HAEDS ?
@@ThoseMissingStitches Ok that’s how I’m pretty much stitching mine as well. Thank you!
Hi I'm in the central valley its nice to have someone close to me
