Hi Liz. Welcome and thank you for starting your Flosstube. I totally enjoyed your Intro. I also stitch in hand and look forward to watching your future flosstubes and progress as I have a lot of the same WIPS and patterns as you. It’s nice to be inspired and motivated by our fellow stitchers. 🎉
Liz, it’s nice to meet a fellow cross stitch fanatic, introvert, and Pennsylvanian! I heard about your FlossTube from Welcome Stitchery. I am amazed! You are a prolific and eclectic stitcher. (Nothing wrong with eclectic; I like eclectic!) And your stitching is beautiful! My husband and I took a weekend trip to Woodlawn in Virginia to see the needlework show. Afterwards we stopped at two cross stitch stores. My husband saw The Scarlet House’s Perfect World stitched and hanging on the wall. I had never seen it before. He rarely has a stitch request for me, but he asked me to do that one. I was working on kitting it up as I was watching your first FlossTube! Thank you, Liz. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
I’m so glad I found you. After sewing for decades and trying every frame possible, I finally discovered sewing in hand…. I love it. Your projects are awesome and you did a great job on this video……well done🤗
The sunflower cross stitch is gorgeous you could fix it sewing another piece of fabric to it then when it's stretched to frame up it will be big enough. The extra material is then hidden by the frame but the piece is nice and taut and you can't see that the original fabric wasn't quite the right size. I love your stitching you have some beautiful pieces
Introverts unite! Welcome to the FlossTube community and loved your first episode!!! Have many of the same projects so will keep watching! Happy stitching and look forward to the next episode!!
🦉 Enjoyed your video. I can relate with your feelings on starting your UA-cam channel. I felt the same way. You did so well! Loved all your shares and looking forward to watching your other video’s❣️
You don’t seem nervous but I would be too. You seem like a natural. I really like your work and especially the really big one is beautiful. I have ordered a cross stitch kit because I am just starting again after many years.
Great first floss tube, you will become more confident as you make more. Beautiful stitching, I too stitch in hand, hoops and I just don't mesh too well. Look forward to your next video.
So I'm backtracking on your videos. Love everything your stitching. I actually just placed an order for the little house needleworks that you showed and the Redbird Blackbird on your wall. I'm currently stitching Sparrow as well. It's been a long process but I'll get it done. You're so lucky to live in Lancaster I love it there. I live down the shore and I love photography so the sun rises over the ocean is my thing. With the snow and the rain today I'm going to sit here and continue on with the rest of your floss tubes. Enjoy your day
Love you stitching…so beautiful. I don’t think anyone would mind you doing your videos with your family in the home. Little voice’s are music to our ears! Life happens and btw, you did a great job!

Wonderful first flosstube! I love all of your WIPS, especially the Abe Lincoln. I’m hoping to visit Gettysburg someday. Stitching over one is not my favorite either but I can do small bits now and then. Looking forward to watching your newer flosstube!

Plum St Autumn also!! The winter scene is very calming. Lovely to see all of your projects and you did so well. Xx
What a fun video. I watched your video last week but came back to leave a comment for you. Your work is beautiful, I enjoyed your 1st video. Also the fabric that has graph lines on it; instead of worrying about stitching over the lines or going over it again with another thread 🧵 don’t worry about it. The lines come out! Some are heat activated, so if you apply an iron to it, the lines disappear 🫥 OR others the ink comes out using warm water. Usually the website has instructions. Don’t worry I get anxious too right before I submerge my wips. I hope this helps. Sending love your way. & Beautiful work .
Very nice to see you on Flosstube. I am an introvert too and could never do what you're doing. Your stitches are lovely, so many large samplers in the works. I like your method of rotating what you stitch, keeping it simple.
Your pieces you showed today were each very nicely done. I especially loved your large Creatures great and small and the Winter Rose Manor piece. Congratulations to you for being brave enough to begin your floss tube journey. You did a wonderful job of going through your wips and your progress on each one is very inspiring for others who may be stitching them! Your children were very quiet if they were anywhere near your chair 😊. Have a great time stitching until next floss tube.🪡🧵
Congratulations on your first Flosstube! I live in south central PA and have quite a few Amish neighbors. I’m also somewhat of an introvert. My husband knows I need some alone time when I tell him it’s getting too “peopley” for me. LOL Have fun! It will get easier too.
You have done such a wonderful job on flosstube. I can't wait till your next one. Wow you have a lot of WIPS. They are all AMAZING. Your Stitching is just beautiful. Keep up the great work.
You look very pretty on utube. Really enjoyed you. Your work is beautiful. Maybe tea or coffee dye the one with the water spots. I stitch in hand also. I can't wait until your next video.
Liz, love all your projects you shared…great job on your video podcast…come again soon…most of us are accustom to children and pets…we don’t mind those interruptions…sometimes when you can manage it, I would love seeing your finishes hanging behind you…wishing you the best and happy stitching ❤❤
Welcome to flosstube. What a lovely selection of projects you have and so many near finishes. I’d love to see your stack of finished projects. Hope to see you regularly and keep stitching xx

1st video...SUCCESS!! Thank you for taking the time to share your WIPS PROGRESS!! Hope to see several of WIPS finished b /c you are so close!! ( marching orders 😊😛) HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2023!!

Enjoyed your first flosstube! You’ve got another subscriber here. You have so many beautiful projects and I really like your order for working on them. I don’t live too far from your area, and enjoy hearing you talk about places I know. Even though Stitches Unlimited is an hour away, I consider it my LNS. Unfortunately,(or maybe fortunately for the bank account) I don’t get there too often.
Your stitching is beautiful. I have seen several works done by hand stitchers and they don’t compare to your work. I use to live in Lehigh Valley PA and, honeymooned in Maine in 1969. 😊. We try to get back to Maine every summer but we now live in Florida so the trip is a little longer now. Keep up the great work and keep floss tubing.
Fabulous! Excellent effort for your first video! Your nerves eased up by the end of filming so don’t feel awkward next time! I was gobsmacked at the amount of work you have put into your 34 projects. Real determination there. Some of your WIPS are patterns I’ve never seen…others are projects I’ve done, have kitted up, or am working as well. I have to say I burst out laughing when you got to the Tudor Bee…thank goodness I found your channel because I have it ready to go and was considering doing it one over one…you’ve saved me!🤣🤣 I immediately dismissed that notion! Please continue with your channel as I find your method of rotating projects very interesting and it’s obviously working for you as you have soooo many that are so close to the end point. Well done!
Nice #1 Flosstube ❤️. The key to stitching over one is explained in several available floss tube tutorials. The trick is the order you make the cross so the thread does not slip behind. I have to look it up each time I do😂
@@Theinhandstitcher I've been scanning the replies because I was sure somebody would have mentioned this! I am by no means an expert -- it's just something I tucked away to study for the day I get brave enough to stitch 1 over 1 on evenweave or linen. As I recall, the other things you have to watch are whether the "top" thread at the intersection is vertical or horizontal. And I can't remember whether there's a difference if you're doing a full cross one at a time or traveling one way with the bottom leg for a row and then coming back with the top leg.
Hi, I really enjoyed your first Flosstube. I love the patterns that you're working on, and your stitching is just beautiful. Looking forward to seeing you again. Happy Stitching!🕊️
I love your channel and your taste in what you’re stitching! You did great with your 1st flosstube. I look forward to watching you every time you put out a new one!
This was a very nice flosstub I am an introvert also and I cannot see me being brave enough to do this. You have alot of beautiful projects going and so many are almost completed. I am impressed. I will be waiting to see what new starts you will be doing in the future. My husband and I spent a week in Maine and loved it. I want to go back. See you on your next video.
Hello! I really enjoyed your video. Kudos for getting out there and doing something out of your comfort zone. I am very new to crossstitch as an adult. I like to stitch in hand using the sewing method. I would love to see you demonstrate how you stitch.

I think you did a wonderful job on this, and I enjoyed watching very much. You do beautiful work! I’m a little late to the party here, so you’ve already finished your second video, and I’m getting ready to start that one now. Please keep them coming! I’ve already decided your videos will be my quiet, morning cup of coffee, peaceful start to the day. God’s blessings to you!
Welcome to flosstube. I enjoyed seeing all of your projects-very pretty! I subscribed and look forward to your next video. You did a great job. Pam Miller
Congrats on your first video🎉 You did a great job & your WIPs were all beautiful! I started His Eye is on the Sparrow at the end of January & it’s 1 of my favorites I have in progress, too. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you. Happy Stitching ❤️🪡🧵
Great Flosstube! I’m stitching Huckleberry Farm too. Your sunflower piece is beautiful, you can maybe sew a piece of scrap fabric on the top edge to help with the framing.
Congrats on your first Flosstube! I love your stitching projects! I look forward to your progress. You inspired me to pick up my Winter Rose Manor, and His Eye is on the Sparrow! I love A Heart Remembers! That is so pretty! You have so many great WIPS! Your stitching is beautiful!
Lovely first flosstube. Thanks for sharing your beautiful projects. I was wondering if you did your carriage house Christmas in silks or dmc. It looks lovely.
What a great FT! You seemed very calm and all your WIP’s are fantastic! Thanks for being so brave and so creative! Enjoyed every moment! Looking forward to more FT’s soon! Happy Stitching!
WOW I live in Cecil County not far from Lancaster! Your WIPS are fantastic. My husband and I love New England also....so beautiful! Great job with your first floss tube! Love Sunflower Farm...so pretty. I also use Krenik for my snow...give it a little glisten. I dont know if you know or not but Stawberry Sampler LNS is up off of 202 and I kinda like the shop in Strasburg. Marcia is really nice.
I am so glad you did a video and I found you! I enjoyed it very much!!! First I have to say that your eyes are the most beautiful color and match your shirt! You have very similar taste to mine, and I enjoyed seeing your WIPs very much. I also enjoyed hearing about the area you live in as well as your travels to Maine. I really got excited when you talked about coming to Gatlinburg. I live about 45 minutes from there. I have to say we do have some beautiful areas down here, and just like you, I thought The Blue Flower's Huckleberry Farm reminds me so much of this area, of home. Your memory of the butterflies in the water of the Pigeon River will be brought back to mind with the butterfly in the center of the design! I look forward to watching more videos! Thank you for having the courage and taking the time!
Hello my beautiful friend! While I know nothing about cross stitching your work has always fascinated me and I'd love to start something. Happy I stumbled across these videos! ❤️
I think you did a terrific job!! Your projects are beautiful! I will definitely be back! I am sure you are already aware of starting your 1 over 1 on the vertical thread-they usually don’t slide under then. Happy stitching!!
I was going to mention this always poking the needle up starting to the left of that vertical thread, but you already said to do that so the floss will be supported and not slide under the fabric thread. Great minds think alike!
So happy to have you joining the flosstube community. I, too, am an introvert. Loved seeing your stitching. Will you be showing quilts also? See you next week.
I'm so glad that I found your flosstube----Karen, The Recovering Monogamous Stitcher, recommended your channel. I love all of your stitching and the variety of projects that you choose. Blackbird and Brenda Gervais as well as HATS are some of my favorites to stitch. I live about 20 minutes outside of Gettysburg and my husband is from Wyomissing so I'm somewhat familiar with the area that you live. Looking forward to your next video!
I’m pretty familiar with Wyomissing- I graduated from Governor Mifflin which is down the road from the Wyomissing area. Thank you for letting me know about that recommendation so I can go thank her!
Welcome to flosstube dear! Looking forward to many more! Such lovely stitching. I taught myself how to stitch in hand after originally learning how to stitch in a hoop.
Great job on your first video!! I loved your honesty about the projects. I don't love all of mine either. I definitely have my favorites! You do have some lovely projects!

Great idea 😊
Congratulations on your new flosstube. I live in York County, just across the river. I love your projects. Take care.

¡ Felicidades por tus proyectos, son preciosos! Estoy encantada de haber descubierto tu canal.! 🥰
I love the pictures on the wall, they are beautiful ❤️ You have beautiful WIPS. I look forward to following your progress 😊
Lovely first flosstube. Thanks for sharing your beautiful projects. I was wondering if you did your carriage house Christmas in silks or dmc. It looks lovely.
It is in dmc-most of the called for dmc unless I didn’t have it
What a great FT! You seemed very calm and all your WIP’s are fantastic! Thanks for being so brave and so creative! Enjoyed every moment! Looking forward to more FT’s soon! Happy Stitching!
Thank you so much!
Hi Liz! Great first FT! I really enjoyed the variety of stitching and look forward to seeing your next video. You’re a natural!
I’ve really enjoyed your first floss tube, will be watching for your others
The one with sunflower you could stitch fabric around it and turn it into a wall quilt instead of framing it
Great job on your 1 st floss tube and you do beautiful work!!
Thank you for sharing. I really like ÿour 🐰. You are doing great, you might be nervous but as time goes on it will get better!!!
I am stitching on Winter Rose Manor while watching, so was excited when you showed it at the end. I am almost halfway done. Yours is gorgeous! ❤
It’s such a beautiful pattern. Thanks for watching 😊
I loved the Smokey mountain area! (Although I can’t say I loved the traffic through town 😬)
Hi Liz! Great first video! Loved seeing what’s in your basket! You have beautiful projects and look forward to watching your progress.
Hello my beautiful friend! While I know nothing about cross stitching your work has always fascinated me and I'd love to start something. Happy I stumbled across these videos! ❤️
👋 hi friend 😊 I’m only slightly embarrassed that you found my channel 🤣
You have done a wonderful job 💕
I need to watch your second floss tube🙂
I think you did a terrific job!! Your projects are beautiful! I will definitely be back! I am sure you are already aware of starting your 1 over 1 on the vertical thread-they usually don’t slide under then. Happy stitching!!
I was going to mention this always poking the needle up starting to the left of that vertical thread, but you already said to do that so the floss will be supported and not slide under the fabric thread. Great minds think alike!
So happy to have you joining the flosstube community. I, too, am an introvert. Loved seeing your stitching. Will you be showing quilts also? See you next week.
I don’t quilt much but my mom does and she’s amazing
I'm so glad that I found your flosstube----Karen, The Recovering Monogamous Stitcher, recommended your channel. I love all of your stitching and the variety of projects that you choose. Blackbird and Brenda Gervais as well as HATS are some of my favorites to stitch. I live about 20 minutes outside of Gettysburg and my husband is from Wyomissing so I'm somewhat familiar with the area that you live. Looking forward to your next video!
I’m pretty familiar with Wyomissing- I graduated from Governor Mifflin which is down the road from the Wyomissing area. Thank you for letting me know about that recommendation so I can go thank her!
welcome to flosstube! great first video, look forward to more :-)
Welcome to flosstube dear! Looking forward to many more! Such lovely stitching. I taught myself how to stitch in hand after originally learning how to stitch in a hoop.
Great job on your first video!! I loved your honesty about the projects. I don't love all of mine either. I definitely have my favorites! You do have some lovely projects!
